I've been waiting for you guys' cover on Golden Time Lover ever since Amalee released her version. While I am impressed by her version, the lyrics feel so much more authentic and impactful than I thought possible. I love your cover more than Amalee's and even the legendary Y.Chang's combined. You guys have charm of trying to stay dedicated the the original's lyrics without really translating it word for word with moderate alterations, but rather the transfer of the same emotional oomph and theme instead. Keep at it! Don't mind me as I listen to this for a month straight. Thank you guys!

I'm honestly not a fan of this cover. I think the instrumental is too loud, and it just drowns out the lyrics way too much. Which is a shame since I've loved pretty much every other one of their covers dammit. But I'd love them to do hello world as well
I know I am late to the party (story of my life) but who wants a short Theology Lesson? I never noticed it before, only really listening to the Japanese version with Subs, but there is a small tidbit of Christian Mytho-History that's referenced in this song that I find fascinating, which is the story of the ancient Babylonians attempt to build a tower tall enough to reach God. The story goes that this tower was meant to be a "Gate to God's Domain" or Gate to Heaven", translations vary, in order to have city closer to God. God however, wasn't a fan, thus he cursed the workers building the tower to speak in different tongues. The confusion that ensued, caused the tower to never be completed, as well as resulting in different languages. So the tower became known as "Babel" or "Baval", which in Hebrew means "Confusion", which holds a lot of Mimetic similarities to FMA:B. Think about it Ed and Al both challenged "God" once, trying to bring back their Mother, however God punished them and took their bodies. As the story progresses, Ed and Al try once again to climb into God's domain, although they are confused and lost in their suffering. Yet as they continue to climb, they overcome their confusion and gain the understanding that eluded them before, allowing them to climb the tower. The whole story of FMA:B could be seen, in some ways; as story about turning the "Tower of Confusion", into the "Gate to Heaven".
A greath insight about the entire plot of the series. And also outside of it, as someone mentioned in other video, that last verse is one of the most beautifull/poetical/inspiring that I have hear in any given song. The Babel tower itself is symbol of an unreachable/delusional goal. So... To bathe in sunlight at the Babel's summit... means finish that said "immpossible to complete" tower and bask in the greatness of it. So... conquer that unrechable goal by your own hands an admire the fruits of your earned hard work

Or just how "Father" or Dwarf in a Flask, wanted to atain the perfect body, to become what is both the Sun and the Moon which is God, and how he made the country wide transmutation circle and reached for the moon or the portal and how the gates opened.
I say without doubt that you are literally better than the original singer of this song. I'm pretty sure people who dont like the original will enjoy your version better.
