As I recall, it's considered to be one of the top 2 anime ever made on several lists over the years.
The classic was better. And more anime top both. Monster, evangelion ...
FMA is probably the only anime that pretty much everyone will love. While I do agree that Monster is better on many aspects (I can't really agree about Eva), FMA will please a much larger audience, pretty much everyone.

Ooooffff.... Man, I totally can't agree. If you're talking about the One Piece manga, maybe, but man, the anime's pacing is SOOOO freaking slow, I don't even understand how can anyone enjoy it. HxH was really good until it went full DBZ shonen cliche bullshit on the chimera ant arc. To each his own, but I stand by my statement.

Gosh damn it man, this is even better than the tv-size version. The great lyrics and vocals from the tv-size just extends to the full song and then some, which is quite an impressive feat. Awesome, awesome job Studio Yuraki!

Goodness you guys have completely this song: The flawless translation to English, perfect lyrics and glass clear pronunciation!!
On top of that there's Sam Luff's voice itself that sound so natural, no auto-tune or anything like that, but a voice that's got a feel of rock, yet at the same time a soothing sensation behind it.
I daresay that this cover is well superior over the original in my book!
I can't say this is superior over the original. To me, it's like this is an exact replica, exact same quality of the original. However, I do enjoy this more because this one is in a language I understand.
Well, I love that I can sing along, and the lyrics are indeed great but I don't think anyone will top Sid's voice for me. It's just awesome.

This song is so close to my heart so I never dared hear another cover of it. But after going through your entire collection, I gave it a shot and I became emotional. I couldn't have imagined that there could be an close to super accurate English cover of this song, and here it is. Thank you for the wonderful song.
This is the best english cover of any OP I've ever heard. It's the only one that outshines the original for any OP. You have truly done the impossible, and done better than the Original.
Don't know why, but this song is so powerful, meaningful, and very inspirational. To me it inspires you to keep fighting for more than yourself, never give up fighting. Even if you are fighting someone so very powerful that the odds are against you. Keep fighting for your friends, your family, your home, and your dreams and goals. After all that's what it looks like when Ed and Al fight against Father and the other Homunculi. Even alongside everyone they know.

Just wanted to say thank you for this beautiful cover
FMA is the first manga i ever read and one of my favorite anime as well alongside Gurren Lagann and Berserk 97; its themes about family really struck me due to having a little brother whom i love so much, it helped to make the experience more personal and it just amazed me, from start to finish
This opening in particular is melancholic as all hell; the visuals showing character's inner conflicts on rainy backgrounds were really memorable and the song is just beautiful, your voice really fits the song like a glove, it gave me goosebumps when the main chorus hit
Sorry for rambling, but i just wanna say that this cover is an astounding 10/10 in my own opinion, and that i hope you cover some of the other songs FMA/FMAB had to offer
