Great video!
Very informative. I am seriously considering changing my belt driven fan and water pump in my Range Rover to the electric options.
Excelent. thanks for the video
We use one of these pumps to circulate water from our hot water tank system to the solar panel outside. It comes on when the panel outside is hot and the motor is powered via photovoltic panel. Ironic because dad worked at Panasonic for 30 years.
We use them for the minicross racing, (rallycross) on the 1300 A series. very impressive.
Strange that I am thinking of fitting to a 1275 A series engine too! All this talk of Aussie five litre motors, I couldn't gauge how practical they would be on a small engine. I just like the philosophy behind sorting what has never really been addressed in a water jacketed engine for so many years. I have a 1933 MG that I am rebuilding using a 1275 A series engine.
Tony C . I know they say you cannot fit these pumps to positive earth cars with one of their controllers. However, having bought an EWP80 pump without checking the polarity of the car, I decided it could be done wiring everything back to the battery. Pump, fan and controller are all effectively on an isolated system with a dashboard switch, separate from the ignition switch, to independently activate them when the ignition is turned on. It doesn't seem to work! WHY?
Is the sensor in the water earthing the system the wrong way?
I need help. There must be someone out there who's tried to do this.
you need the fan to cool the radiator ,?
@ianclark1275 do you reckon that a daily use mini can use it?
no..............
