Looking forward to seeing the car in person! Having a crack myself at the pocket rocket class in a VERY under prepared mx5 haha
Good luck! MX5 are quick! if you around on Saturday i am happy to take you for a few laps ;)
No way, two favourite youtubers in one place !
Please no punterino! Are you attending Cadwell? I need to get my car ready!
@@GizFab I will be yeah
@@Jimmy_Broadbent Mega, we're in the same class.
I'm waiting for my ewp80 to come in the post. I'm removing everything but the alternator off the front of my 4e-fe so I can run a supercharger. Your video is super helpful.
Good luck!
I'm loving the daily content 💪🏼💪🏼💯💯💯🙌🏼💚⚡️💥🔥
Cheers
An idea for mounting the water pump: those slots look like the ones on a mill designed to hold "T- bolts"... maybe see if you can flat two sides of a bolt head to make your own t-bolts to fit the slots?
Yeah I figured it out later. Normal M6 bolt just slots inside very snug 👍
@@RuskiWeldFab win win! Keep going man, lots of people are living vicariously through your racing days! I got hit head on on my motorcycle and broke nearly everything... I'm not a quitter, but just slow going getting back on my feet (literally).
Best of luck on the track sir, should you ever make it to the states... I'll have some pints waiting with your name on therm 🍻
sorry to hear that man! glad you are doing OK!. i sure will take you up on that offer. 😉
Keep chipping away👍 see at Cadwell for rounds 1 & 2 👌
See ya
You should read the instruction that came with the pump. I have on fitted to my small van and it hangs on the piping. Works very well even in ambient temperatures up in the high 40s. I also have the controller unit. If you head mount the pump you will put a lot of strain on it. Also just a short whinge - point the camera at the thing you ar talking about. Like the project and good luck
Yeah I read it can be supported just by pipes but wasn’t comfortable with it. It has a nice wobbly bracket now just to keep me happy. And yes about camera sorry! It happens sometimes 🙃
Mallory was when the big bang occurred on the pit straight
Yea you arecright
💪🏼
💪💪
Tension building for the startup now before race day!
🤞
great job! and here i am struggling to replace the steeringrack bushes on mine.
love the content!
You can do it!
80? You’re making me think my 150 is overkill now…
I think it could be slight overkill
@@RuskiWeldFab Bought it now, no returns! she will be reet....
it's serious all these modifications, it's something other than replacing with a decat and an Itg filter 😆? it is the F4R7x engine of the clio or that of the megane 2 RS ?
Yeah that’s the original 172 engine
That waterpump blanking plate looks really good, what idlerpully did you use for that? How does it look on the inside? I'm collecting parts for ding the same on my engine just with a Pierburg pump :)
I have no idea haha. Was made as special request by Nick at Pure Motorsport. never looked on the inside. i assume its flat
Because its electric pump cant you place it anywhere in engine bay? Or even anywhere in the car?
Yes you can. But then you need to run extra pipes. = weight.. and we don’t want that do we 😀
why did not you choose the 150 ewp ?For mine clio 172 n/a im wating 150 ewp,i think 80 its bit litle small
Because 80 is more than enough
