There is nothing as magical as the Coodercaster sound. You, Ramon have been able to get a lot of the real stuff, most people aren't or don't have the budget - that1s if they're to stay married. I've spent so much money trying to combine cheap and mid priced pedals to get the Coodercaster sound, never getting close. So if there ever was a shortcut..... That's what I'd go for. I've discovered that a Tweed Deluxe combined with a Catalinbread Topanga spring reverb and a Moore Ana Delay create something pretty close to Ry Cooder's sound (Not super big difference with a slapback added). If I had the knowhow I'd make a large pedal where I replicate the Topanga and the Ana, add slap back and possible a tremolo knob. There you'd have a Coodercaster pedal - all in one! I got the Tweed I had a Vox, was planning om adding a Lovepedal Tweed Twin or a Les Luis to get there. Will visit a mate one day soon who has a Vox/Clear sounding amp and try to see if that works - not everybody has a Tweed amp. But if you have a clean sounding one and you can add a Tweed pedal and get close it would be choice.
