This range finder is on sale for $196.95, would you recommend purchasing it? Has it been consistently accurate? I'm interested in a budget range finder like this for hunting season as well. Thanks for the review and good luck in the field this season. Edit: It's actually on clearance sale for $166.95. What do you think? Thanks.
Hi there! This range finder has been working great for me in good sunlight. And it has been acurate. For 167 assuming American dollars, it is a good deal in my opinion. I also like how small and portable it is. I took it on a couple of hunts already this year and I don't even notice carrying it really due to the size of it.
@@LuRanOutdoors Thanks for getting back to me so quickly. Yes, it is American dollars and it's actually on clearance sale from Walmart online. I am going to give it a shot for that price. I have a scheduled hunt for the end of October so it's great timing. Best wishes and happy hunting.
Thanks so much! Right on!! That's a great deal, I saw that sale too!! You are going to love it! It responds quick and super small and light to carry around, and at this price, it's hard to beat!
@@LuRanOutdoors fair enough... yeah i guess you ll need to upgrade to the monarch series, if you wanted something to read distances in low light conditions
@@cromdaleblvd4677 honestly when it's too dark too read, this probably time to stop hunting or not time to hunt yet. I use it just for hunting and golfing, does the job for me!
@@LuRanOutdoors what a pity, it has a very good price and here in spain its look like a good option. But without this, i have to buy something bigger jajajaja.
@@sannash5088 ah I see.. that's too bad. It must be pretty hilly over there hey? It is very flat here in Saskatchewan, I assume angle compensation is to calculate the elevation change and things?
Hey man good question. It is best practice to know what's behind your target before pulling the trigger. I will not shoot unless I know it is clear behind my target.
Can you recharge the battery?
Great question, unfortunately it's not a rechargeable battery. However, the battery that came with has lasted me many years now.
I just bought one for hunting but also for work settings can be switched to meters ( I use meters for Trees) I used it so far to measure trees
Thats great!!! It's an awesome little unit!! I am loving mine still!!!
Good video this is going to be my first year hunting.
Thank you!!! Hope you have good luck this year!!! I think beginner luck might be a real thing, as I was extremely lucky my first time. Haha
Awesome intro and video. Nicely explained.
Thanks so much!!! I appreciate it!!!

@@LuRanOutdoors nice, just wondering is there anything you dont like about it
@@cromdaleblvd4677 not much I don't like about it. If I had to pick one. It gets a little hard to get the distance at sunset low light conditions.

That is a great question... I am not 100 percent sure on that. But I don't think it does.

Ah I see... well, I hope you find the right one at the right price!! Good luck!!
Does it have a magnifier function? Can you zoom to your target to check where you hit?
Good question. Unfortunately it doesn't have that function.
