  • Converting my lathe mill combo to just a stand alone mini mill. I removed the optiturn BF-20LV mill of my optiturn TU-3008G lathe. As it was not useful in that setup. If was sitting on a pallet for over 12 months and finally I got around to fixing it up to be usable in the workshop. This part of the build just goes through trying to modify using an ebay X and Y cross table to bolt the mill column to and building a stand for it.
I took the idea of using a cheap tool chest as a stand from Robin Renzetti see here • MAKING A SURFACE PLATE...

Love the detail. You need to get a shop apron instead of a bbq one.

Hi, they are are all generic and exactly the same, so just do a search on you local hardware store, cross slide table 700mm x 180mm. I found mine by chance it was also on sale including shipping. If you can pick it up you can save alot as they are quite heavy. forestwest.com.au/products/precision-cross-sliding-table-bf-30-700-180mm-table?_pos=3&_psq=table&_ss=e&_v=1.0
