    Oh my god how good this is! I know how to sew, so I'm not really here to learn.... But it's so refreshing with a proper instruction with ALL the details, not a watered down, simplified amateur version. And tips like how to make buttonholes without special machinery, very helpful! And I do love your style, the seditionaries t-shirt is what brought me here😊 keep up the good work 😊

    This video is awesome. Breakneck speed, no music, no bs, perfect. I used the pattern, followed along (with lots of pause and rewind) and made the jeans.
    They turned out pretty good for a first crack but the next pair will definitely be better. Go to school on the first one and go to town on the second!
    Thank you very much for making this tutorial!

    • @panesinn
      @panesinn 6 днів тому

      @@joanfauvet391 Yes, I was able to finally fix it by more or less copying other pants I had by taking them apart and then making the piece again by hand. The most important thing is that the top of the yoke is aligned with the pants. By redoing that piece I was able to finish them.

    Hey man, i really appreciate the Video. I was looking for an instruction like this for a longer time, and that you even give the a4 Pattern with it is just amazing. I would like to start right away but i got left with 2 questions.
    First, i can't tell how tall you are, i really like the fit on you, but i am 1,90m so do you thing there will be any inconvenience with it?
    The other one is, i don't have a serge machine. I don't know if you mentioned it in the video, but i found kind of alternatives you can do with a normal machine (Zig Zag stich). So do you think the project is also doable with just a Stinger Sewing machine.
    Thanks for any replies!

    • @anbentha
      @anbentha  Рік тому +1

      Hey, for the lenght you can just add to the bottom hem of the pattern before you cut it, I'm a little over 180 and you can see how they fit me so you can adjust accordingly.
      And yes, you can just use the zigzag stitch. If you have a newer machine you should be able to do everything with it.

    I rlly don’t understand what grain line with Selvedge means no matter how much I hear it

    • @JonaWolf11
      @JonaWolf11 Місяць тому +1

      Grain line is the direction of the warp thread (in jeans from top to bottom). Ideally, you cut along one thread, then the fabric won't warp later. Selvedge is the edge created during weaving. Because the weft thread is placed around the last warp thread, the edge cannot fray. All other edges of the fabric must be secured, for example with a zigzag seam.
