Helpful video, thanks Morph. Also, I've found NPCs respawning a lot faster these days, had cleared a bunker the other day and then got whacked when more started appearing and sneaking up on me.
yeah right ? Happened to me too, took my sweet time cleaning the bunker outside, got inside, cleared it and ... I was caught off guard once I got out and the welcome party wasn't that welcoming.
This looks like a fun game when it works. I wouldn't know because I've had the error 60030 locking my character to a broken shard for over a week now. Good times.
I still find missions in combination with server meshing very confusing and often game breaking. Example: Pick up a hauling contract, place the boxes into my Zeus. Try to open the hangar. The gates don't open. I store the ship and change server. My contract isn't on the new shard, but my ship with the cargo boxes is. I pick up a new contract and store the old contract's boxes in the hangar, they are still named as contract boxes but can't be used. Will I just have to wait until I'm randomly assigned ti that shard to finish the contract? Will contracts end after a certain amount of time, meaning the database and servers get cluttered with an endless amount of junk from contracts that can't be completed? Seems quite broken.
We have shard affinity, unless the shard is full or otherwise inaccessible to you you will be placed on the same shard for as long as you keep choosing the same region. Missions will always go away on logout in any case (generally considered abandoned with the corresponding rep penalty).
I wish Pyro ran well for me. I can’t be the only one with a stuttering, glitchy mess of a game right now. I’ve been dreaming of Pyro for YEARS, and the worst thing is seeing what it can be and peaking at 15-20 frames with heavy latency. I hope that it’s a big enough of a problem that CIG will fix it soon. Thanks for letting me run the verse through you for the meantime Morph!!
Just did this, mission didnt complete/update but I did get the Cargo from the Freelancer. Another player also tried to kill me and take the freelancer from the hangar but I got aboard before he took off and killed him haha Saved my Cargo! 187k for the Stims and Gold Combined.
One thing I don't understand is pricing of missions. 100k sounds nice, but you can find hauling missions with 10-20SCU for a 50k in Stanton which I think are way easier and with much less worry of somebody killing you along the way.
I already gave feedback on spectrum about the "direct planetary extra small" hauling missions being way too lucrative. 50k for delivering 6-10 1SCU crates from baijini to riker (or seraphim to orison), with a cutty black you can get 5 of them done in one go in 20min if you're good with that tractor beam turret. The whole economy rebalance feels really off ATM. OTOH CIG has always made the thing they want tested the most lucrative thing as a soft driver for testing focus and I certainly have run hundreds of 1SCU creates between baijini and riker so that's a fair bit of testing for both cargo elevators and mission item tracking...
@@EeroafHeurlin how could you ??? these people spend a considerable amount of time and efforts carefully crafting a believable world economy and rebalancing missions payouts, using all the fine art stats and tools at their disposal, and you dare give feedback about it ? /s

One good feature I ran into testing 4.0 is that if you put cargo on the cargo elevator and forget to lower it then log out when you log back in and go to your hanger it’s still there i done a cargo run one time forgot to lower the elevator then thought I lost all the cargo when I couldn’t sell it so rage quit a week later I logged back on and went to my hanger and it was all still there I expected another player to have been given that hanger and take it all but I guess not never expected that
Last time I did the mission it had a quantum and shields, but after I came out of quantum the ship instantly despawned and I flew through space. So guys, don't try to jump with it, just unload it at the asteroid! :D
@Morphologis Yeah thats the idea. Bring one in the ship with your team, fly the lancer over to your arrival ship, swap the drive in and jump home with both ships.

As usual, it speaks volumes that you aren't sure if things are bugs or not. Star Citizen needs to get it's ahot together and make a cohesive playing experience before adding more ships and shit
Coming back from Elite Dangerous, it's clear to me that CIG completely underestimated the size of their initial ships (say the Freelancer) relative to the amount of space required inside to actuallly live from them. They'll happily sell the new hotness at 3 times the price though.
Agreed, the cargo amount is weirdly exaggerated for certain ships size, but I fear this is also because of the weird "cargo grid design" of said ships. For example, a MSR is sold as 114 SCU in capacity, so, unless you know better, you'd think you could take a 104 SCU mission in one go, but because the MSR's cargo grid can only fit 9x 8SCU containers, there is a bunch of them left over pending for a second rotation. Unless you get playfull trying to fit more, but between bugs, cargo disappearing/clipping through ships and explosions ... You never know. My two favorite ships in "outside" design are the C1 and the MSR but both feel out of touch with current missions, they are at the same time too big for the smaller missions, too small for the bigger loads. So I'm back at using the trusty Constellation Taurus.
i though, yaeh start in orison to get slowly into pyro.. in this month i reached seraphim station and the 4.O is a bug fiesta roulette in every login. you get every time another random bug that dont let you play that version. today i managed to get my pyro repeater on my F8 after struggleing 2 weeks

Watching you guys having group fun makes me want to join an org. I don't play very often anymore due to so many bugs, so that's not going to be an option
Sure, Pyro is pretty. It's too bad i can't take off from Orison over four days of trying and probably thirty server hops because the hangar keeps devouring and destroying my ships, or refusing to spawn them.
Looks cool, but bought the avenger titan , played for the first time for about an hour and half. Was running smoothly then the game kicked me. Havn't been able to login since. just continuesly loads and i can never get in. Tried all the work arounds suggested, nothing works. What a waste of money.
Maybe list the workarounds you tried so people who know more know which exact ones you did try and know to suggest ones not yet tried. The very first thing is to enable r_displayinfo 2 in console (tilde to open console) when in menu before trying to load in so you can take some screenshots with important detail info. Anyway there will be a new patch Soon:tm: and that at least should reset your character back to the "choose home city" state. Grats on the Space Penguin, it's a great starter.
I did one of these missions and I thought it was the coolest one I have done...my freelancer was fully operational with shields and quantum and flew about 50GM then it despawned....it was 64 SCU of gold....I was sad:(
Well I'm glad at least someone is having fun in this game. I'm an avid backer from 2012 and have been investing over 5K on this project and still can barely get pass the starting point and keep getting lost in Stanton and can not find anything worth while doing, so I usually log off after an hour or so feeling empty... I just hope that at least SQ42 can somewhat live up to it's potential and give me some positive experience for my pledges...
Strongly recommend you find a group and play together. Not a must but it can help if you get lost. I set spawn to somewhere like Loreville, QT to Pyro Gateway, refuel, travel to Pyro, top off at Stanton gateway (optional), land at a Station like Checkmate, Ruin, or Gaslight, set home location at medical, start searching for box or bunker missions, stock up on cool armor...travel around enjoying Pyro.
Join an org, or figure another way to play with friends at the very least try to utilize the guide system. The learning curve is steep and while hand-holding has increased somewhat it's still a sim that requires paying attention to the correct things (like maps or graffiti on walls, textual descriptions on missions, text content on lootable datapads etc), before getting a feel for what is truly important and what is just decoration having a friend who knows with you will help a ton.
Hi morph. What are you system specs and game settings. My PC is good. Really good but my game doesnt look as crisp and clean as yours. And how does no one have screen tearing??? i always have screen tearing no matter what i do
enable vsync to prevent screen tearing or get a monitor that supports freesync/gsync. (granted with freesync/gsync monitors you do generally need a minimum framerate for it to work). Screen tearing drives me up the wall, so i have both a freesync monitor and if that's still not enough, i enable vsync.
I should really take a look at unverified contracts, I still strayed away from them even though I was in Pyro lol. Loving the no punishments though, allows you to get rich and kill anyone you want if they piss you off enough
With the big ol caveat of "If you can get to them" as... certain design decisions (in particular shields going down for nav, which you're required to be in to jump) and a handful of "helpful" players have made getting into pyro far more aggravating than it needs to be. Amusingly enough though, if you can get through the perpetual gate-camp Pyro has been slight less murder-hobo-ish than Stanton is on a normal day.
Never ran into anyone gate-camping Pyro, and I was stuck at the Stanton station for hours on end due to hangar issues, hopping shards and swaping regions due to mission/ASOP/hangar bugs.
It should be something worth more money is my only complaint. I could see this taking over an hour to do for some people and it would make that 100k seem a little smaller than what you should be achieving. I think it’d be more lucrative and a desirable mission if you could have more variable earnings between 70k-500k based on what loot is in there randomly
Dammit man... I've not seen a single person at Rat's Nest when dropping off my gold from this mission. What's the bet it'll be fully camped now this video is out! lol
Looks fun, except i love the players who camp mission spots and kill anyone trying to do missions. Eventually griefing will kill this game. Without the casual gamer this will continue to not make the money to keep going.

I think CIG has a special queue for content creators to make sure the game looks as good as possible in front of a wide audience, most players are unable to log in at the moment.
@@arenomusicthat is for sure not true. In my org about 75% of folks (including me) can get into the game and enjoy it with not a ton of issues about, say, 60% of the time. It just depends on if you’re lucky or not, unfortunately. There’s no “special queue” or anything. It’s just the UA-camrs likely server hopping to get good servers and trying different times of day, on different days, etc.
@borgthepig considering it is cig, it is not out of the question, but we lack hard data on both sides of the argument, though if i were to give my biased opinion i feel that the existence of such a queue is not unlikely
I have done this mission soo many times I cant count.. and EVERY SINGLE TIME once I get to the hangar there are 0 AI and there is no ship or cargo.. to be frank Im lucky if im even able to destroy all the generators and complete the mission to get a payout. 50% of the missions failed to complete for me. I agree that it WOULD be "epic", if they actually worked. And thats not even considering that 90% of the shards/servers Ive been on do not even have mission markers, and many of the missions have placeholder text for their location so you cant even go there manually...
....when they are not bugged, and this rarely happens. ok this confirms to me that you have become like bored gamer. What are we talking about if nothing works. adios
Imagine spending over an hour on a mission just to find out your ship was destroyed by a random player, seems like a massively frustating experience... and not one easily solved for solos.
The tried and true method of using a hover bike has now become the best path. The Mirai pulse fits even inside a Pisces, you can park a very low emissions signature ship 30 km away and ride your bike in. When you come out, neither will be touched because a player would have had to have come within 500 m of your bike to see it and within 10 km of your ship to even detect it. If you're going into a base on foot solo and you don't have an uber, yes you do need to prepare a place to park your ride so you don't get your tires slashed.
Tired of missions and theme park content to be honest, the game is way past due for actual sandbox tools for players to create their own content. Enough trying to please gacha and WoW gamers.
It's all broken, Morph. Can't even get into the game now. I love that whenever regular generic shooter gameplay works in Star Citizen, people praise it like it's the cat's meow. It just barely got up to standards of a game like Call of Duty and we're supposed to rejoice?
I'm so tired of these jerk off contest brains regarding "PvP" in Pyro... if everything was fighting with everything? What is there to live for? I don't understand this whole kill on sight mentality that seems to be the prevailing taught among the community, why do you kill a cargo hauler? Just to kill him or too loot the spoils? 100% it is just to kill and leave the rest to rot.
In real live this never would happen... thats the reason also why in ecology, wolves cant eat up all pray... because after words they would starve... Starcitizen needs some game mechanics that can reflect this.. everyone again everything is also a missunderstanding of what makes men so successfull in live.. its cooperation not survival of the fittest that wins..

Sure, Pyro is pretty. It's too bad i can't take off from Orison over four days of trying and probably thirty server hops because the hangar keeps devouring and destroying my ships, or refusing to spawn them.
Tired the outlaw variant 3 times and nothing, mission wouldn’t complete & no ship was there
Looks cool, but bought the avenger titan , played for the first time for about an hour and half.
Welcome we’ve been doing this for 12 years
The game doesnt run this smoothly. What you are watching is the power of editing. Dont be fooled lol
It does run this smoothly for me.
I did one of these missions and I thought it was the coolest one I have done...my freelancer was fully operational with shields and quantum and flew about 50GM then it despawned....it was 64 SCU of gold....I was sad:(
Nice. What i love about SC is that even when everyone is shitting on it, there is no game out there that does anything like it.
True. I've never found a game that's this broken and tedious.
No other game traps you in an elevator leaving you unable to play for weeks yep.
That's why I play it. Even with the bugs, it does so many things (when it works) that nothing else even comes close to it.
I'm currently shitting on it and this is true.
@@Kleavers Cyberpunk 2077. Go watch LegacykillaHD's video of the 1.0 release version. Makes Star Citizen look perfect.
How many crashes after?
@@d2ricciEven though it's a universally good idea, joining an org is not going to fix a broken mission system
So...is there any reason you can't bring your own shield and jump drive component and put them into that Freelancer and fly it away?
Could've been a friendly player, Morph no chill for Pyro
No way to chance it without VOIP. Frustratingly, it's not working in 4.0's current patch.
Hi morph. What are you system specs and game settings. My PC is good. Really good but my game doesnt look as crisp and clean as yours. And how does no one have screen tearing??? i always have screen tearing no matter what i do
It's a UA-cam video, your frame rate isn't varying at all so there's no screen to tear, just a sequence of images.
enable vsync to prevent screen tearing or get a monitor that supports freesync/gsync. (granted with freesync/gsync monitors you do generally need a minimum framerate for it to work). Screen tearing drives me up the wall, so i have both a freesync monitor and if that's still not enough, i enable vsync.
@@arenomusic Bro seriously? Im clearly talking about the fact that im experiencing screen tearing in the actual game as i mentioned you muppet
I should really take a look at unverified contracts, I still strayed away from them even though I was in Pyro lol. Loving the no punishments though, allows you to get rich and kill anyone you want if they piss you off enough
Please drink some water, you are making me anxious
I know hull scraping isn't as exiting however, I'm making 300-400k per run in a Vulture. Depending on where I sell.
Hi, just watched the Video and its a great walkthrough for this mission type. The only info i am missing is, the name of the second station.
Hapi new year!
How do you keep the ATLS from teleport/killing you?
The Freelancer has 66SCM of cargo space, but that's not all accessible from the back. how did you get the rest?
Dang gotta do this with my org!
Is there no proximity chat in SC?
There is, but in this particular preview release it often bugs out
It should be something worth more money is my only complaint. I could see this taking over an hour to do for some people and it would make that 100k seem a little smaller than what you should be achieving. I think it’d be more lucrative and a desirable mission if you could have more variable earnings between 70k-500k based on what loot is in there randomly
Has Squadron 42 launched yet or is that still a pipe dream??
I always tho SC would be more then counter strike in space, this is what i liked when i was 13 yr old.
CIG has yet to give me a single reason to spend more than 5 hrs in game every 3 months.
I hope for more impromptu type missions that aren't through the Mobiglas. Missions that the player will just stumble upon while out and about
I sure wish contracts would show up for me
yo how does your game look so clear? I can't explain why but yours looks amazing compared to mine. like more vibrant and less grainy
Fun stuff. Just need but fixes now.
It looks fun. it's too bad the game doesn't let you play most of the content.
The fact you have somehow found both working terminals and servers to record this video has me baffled lmao
It doen when it works. For me and my buddies pyro has been even worse then stanton it terms of anything actually working properly
Cry me a river bro you Deadass cant get enough of these guys, complaining non stop all the time. If you are worried about being killed just dont go to the lawless system overrun by gangs
with over 3.5k hrs i can tell you Star shittyson is further from finished then it was a year ago. give it 10-35 years before you buy. unless you want to fly a ship in space then go for it.
Hey morphology just want you to know that i will never skip your videos but weirdly this video just won’t recommend on my home page I refreshed it more than 10 times and still won’t get recommended , some of your older video was recommended that I have already watched
I saw your video in my subscription page that is why I keep refreshing to get your video on the home page just for testing!
I'm not sure why this is the case. There may be some strange thing like with the weapon being in the intro that makes it less likely to be promoted? Not sure.
@@Morphologis or maybe because people mistook it for the game pay day lol
Anyway i really enjoy these kind of of videos so keep it up
By the way i think if you named your video ( the most fun and best way to make money in pyro ) would have been better 😅
@@Morphologis Ollie43's latest video also did not show up in my recommended. I had to go to his actual page to view it and I don't think there are any weapons in the thumbnail from when I last watched it yesterday. In any case, it's just YT being YT. Your video did, however, show up at the top of my recommended page.
god moving boxes is so tedious
Yeah it's awful. We need NPCs/drones to do stuff like that. It would look cool, add to immersion, and reduce the overwhelming boredom.
And it just leaves you open and exposed to be constantly shot and killed while trying to move boxes
it is definitely funny to try to kill Morphologis while he is doing a mission.
Wtf ?
When i do those one, i never get anybody in the hangar...
I watched your stream morph and saw how bad 4.0 is. How much is CIG throwing your way to put a positive spin on this?
It's his entire UA-cam career at this point, so everything.
FYI Im pretty sure I was the one you shot. I was soo confused
Correction: pyro has ONE epic mission
How can you play this game without all the bugs and issues I encounter at every play session ? This is beyond me.
what happened to other cargos
The part I'm more baffled by is the functional Server Shard Morph is able to enjoy
It's either running flawlessly or a dumpster fire complete with laggy inputs and broken asop terminals
Make sure to specify a region you want, too. Don't leave it on "Best".
@borgthepig considering it is cig, it is not out of the question, but we lack hard data on both sides of the argument, though if i were to give my biased opinion i feel that the existence of such a queue is not unlikely
How can you get that many fps? 32g ram, 2080ti and 9700k overcloked, and I struggle to reach 17 fps in same station. Wth
@@Shmityorshen thank's for the tip
Just want the game to be fun...
They are kids who don't understand that other things are infinitely more fun. Also manbabies.
@@tomschuelke7955You mean cooperation vs selfishness. Survival of the fittest isn't the right concept.
Long winded explanations aside....its alpha bro.
@@operator9858 that is as much of an argument as telling someone to go back to Stanton.
It is bad behavior.
are these pve missions?? i wanna play star citizen but is there enough pve content cause i dont really like pvp...
