These are typically PVE Mission Players! On the spec surly the Andor Repeats on an F8 are nightmare DPS and a phenomenal Damage Output! But it do not make sense when you do not get the nose on the target. In PVE situations, where the ships are stupid, you have a very low time to kill. I had the same situation in a Miray Guardian (my ship wit Repeaters) and my Friend with full attrition on his F8. Sure it hits very hard, but my nose was permanently on his Ship and I could aviod his Damage. Afterwards he complaint that the pips are Brocken 😂😂😂

For us PVP people it's mostly just a joke where we refer to any kind of PVP as "Griefing." Anti-griefing is basically the same, just PVP. I typically grab contracts for Shepherd's Rest and Chawla's Beach to try and find fights with people while running the missions to pay for repairs. Thanks for the fun fight! Y'all had me stressed.

I have two more videos in the works right now actually. You're right but dogfighting in this game isn't easy, takes a lot of practice to get good at which is why you probably don't see much of it.

What loadout are u using component wise? I found some ndbs and slapped them on but idk what to use for components Idk what shield to use power plant and qt

He used Panthers, Badgers, and two S2 distortion repeaters. The current "meta" is duping the S3 and S2 Ardors from the Save Stanton event and filling every F8 gun slot with them, but even though they hit harder, their shot speed is slower and easier to dodge like dude did here. Same for the Attritions, more power less speed. Great for PvE, not so good for PvP.
To answer your third question, not really. I used lead pip up until this last month when I switched to lag to get a better visual of the ship I was shooting at and how adjust my strafe aim to land more shots. It's the same calculation but lead is projected from the ship while lag is from the crosshair so it's inverted.
If you're playing mouse and keyboard it's definitely doable but it's recommended to have pedals for roll. Mouse aim still beats stick aim and the current flight gives max thrust when strafing on a single axis over bi-cording and tri-cording. Very easy to do when it's just a single key press.
We usually run in a group with people on the ground that we have to defend. Some people do just like to enjoy murder hobo and the chat PVP that comes with it.

@ A lot of it is just building muscle memory and learning best practices. I really like the tutorial videos from Johnathan Winters and AvengerOne. Nothing about dogfighting is intuitive so it takes a lot practice to get good at it. We do a lot of training in VNGD and you'd be welcome to join us sometime.

Those guys were terrible. Not landing shots, not sticking together to assist, poor merging…against a slow F8 in atmo, in master modes… those guys need to do more AC practice

Depends, usually we're actually trying to run missions in the area as well. At Chawla's you can chain missions back to back so it's worth it for a group to go in and occupy it for a while if they can.
Right now it is pay2win since it cannot be purchased in the ingame shop, but it wont be once squadron42 releases. Until then, well... Maybe RSI will add it some day to the shop for like 10mil uaec

Lag Pip. I aim to get the pip in the general area and use up/down/left/right strafes to fine tune the position of the pip, aka strafe aim.

Why the two distortions? I'm curious. I know recently they'd turn people's radars off pretty quickly but I think that was patched out for 4.0.
