Glad you're back online Archie, we have missed you! Looks like you're cranking out the firewood. Similar here in NZ where I've got 150 IBC cages drying for next winter and on a mission to 300 cages by February. Loved the update video - looks like you're cranking out the firewood, well done!
The fact that the splitting wedge automatically adjust in height in accordance with the diameter of the log is sweet very nice feature and I assume speeds the process up quite a bit!
Nice one archie good to have you back I think you are going to get very busy with your work in Kent thanks for getting that sorted I think there is a order going your way excellent video buddy thanks.
Hi Archie watched that video of your palax working I’m going to buy a big splitter for my oversized wood just wondering you thoughts on that machine cutting billets through it.
you havent thought about briquette pressing the sawdust out of the equipment to sell? I cant remember if youve said what you do with it, if so i apologize :D
I believe it’s pretty hard. But we do have a video on the log burners lounge UA-cam channel coming out soon where we visit a briquette processing plant
Came to the comment section to twit the ever present safety nannies crying about the chainsaw back cutting the knots off @ 15:05......and didn't find one.....i'm mildly impressed that every armchair expert that has watched the video so far realizes Archie is not a complete potato with a chainsaw
@@oakfarmfirewood for every 500 kg of wood through machine and cleaner through 2 . 4. 6.and 12 way splitter depending on wood diameter we get approx 10 kg on saw dust and 5kg of rubbish processing Ash. Using a saw blade . We have a weigher on fork lift. Hope these figures are helpful. Keep up the good work

Much appreciated!

Yes and takes the human error out of making a load of irregular logs!
Really enjoyed that. Nice drone shots. And btw, get that sawdust behind the Palax cleaned up!!
Glad to see you back 😊 That auto wedge adjustment is awesome 👍 It sounds like you have a lot of work coming. Good video.
Sure is! Thanks

@oakfarmfirewood n
Nice one archie and your truck is looking good thanks mate.
when they are cutting birch leave the top on with the leaf fore 2-3 weeks , and thet draw the sugar and moist out off the wood .
That’s a cool fact! Shame it takes to much time for the harvester boys
Can’t you use a cone splitter on your digger to break the oversized stuff down into manageable bits for either the palax or the factory?
It makes one hell of a lot of waste I find! I’ll see about this processor first!
Where I’d you get the tip for the lap top?? I was ready for my shout out 😎
Good to see you back!! How much more land do you have there?? By the drone footage looks like your running low on concreted land
Maybe more in the future we will have to see
Glad to see you back up and running keep going
Thanks 👍
I use a wire brush in a drill to clean moss off beach it wont go mouldy, then well worth the effort. it's easy.
Hi Archie watched that video of your palax working I’m going to buy a big splitter for my oversized wood just wondering you thoughts on that machine cutting billets through it.
It will probably be great!
I thought you might have fallen down the love hole!!! Great to have you back.
Cheers Matt

Your doing it my way on steroids😂👍🇺🇸
Great to see you back in action 🪵
Might be difficult to answer, but how many ibc’s do you think you are making out of 100 ton of timber?
About 200 ibc. Approx 500 kg per ibc.l work in firewood too
I’d say actual logs 180 ish plus all the sawdust and waste
