I know this is a tundra channel but I love my 21 tacoma pro. Has blind spot monitoring, moon roof , and all the bells and whistles. Both are great reliable trucks.
Amazing find Mr. Mark. My kids and I own a 2016 pro in quicksand. I can say it’s my dream truck and we were able to purchase it in 2020 before truck prices got ridiculous. My kids and I absolutely love this truck. People ask me “is that a 2021?” And I’m like naw 2016, they age so well. We’ve never had any issues with our 5.7. I plan on passing it down to my son in 10 years when he starts to drive. I had no idea the Canadian version was different from the US. What a beautiful truck, that will make someone really happy. It’s good to know that our truck has only increased in price after we’ve put 80k miles on it in 4 years of ownership. Thanks for sharing Mr. Mark
That's why i cloned my 2017 limited DC to look like this. Has all the same goodies other than the sunroof. And my 38 gallon tank comes in handy driving 500 miles a week. I agree best heritage grill made. Sparks parts is where i bought mine. Thanks for the 5% discount:)
Hey Mark. I know you can’t predict the future, but since you’re so tuned into Toyota Tundra trends I’ll ask. Based on previous years around summer - When current incentives lapse, what is Toyota likely to offer on Tundras? Are they like to offer more than 1500.00 consumer cash or better financing rates than what is currently offered?
I have the same truck and color, but the American version. I bought it new in 2016 and have 65k miles on it. I've loved it since day 1. Keep up the good work.
I remember seeing a brand new one like that at the Toyota dealership in 2016.. The color looks so nice as it just gleamed. The dual exhaust looked great and it really stood out!! I always thought that was a beautiful color.
I have the US version of this 2016 Pro. It's been great! It's never broke down and left me stranded. Whoever gets that is getting a great truck. ...I can't believe it's going to be 9 years old in January. 😄
I’m on the hunt. Plenty of videos coming up of my finds out there, of course with the history lesson of each particular Tundra as well 😁 #ClassInSession
Hi Mark, I am looking at this 2018 Tundra limited in metallic brown with 95,000. Does have a lift kit. What do you feel would be a fair price I should offer? This is at Pohanka Toyota dealer In Salisbury Md.
Can you do a Video on the difference between the Canadian Tundra and the American ones. I live in Canada, and didn't know there was that much of a difference beside 4x4 is a standard.
Its nothing too crazy. SR5 in Canada has a moonroof option, in the US, moonroofs start at Limited. You guys also get heated seats in everything lol. The pro in canada got blind spot monitoring, parking sensors, heated seats in the 15-17, and the US pros didn’t have any of that stuff during those years.
I went to see this truck. I am from Washington and it has been for sale for a while. Is clean but I couldn't justify spending that kind of money on that mileage. Maybe I made a mistake 🤣🤣
Do/does a Camadian truck "pass" EMISSIONS specs? In my county, in TX, EVERY Truck/Car from 1996 & on has to pass an emissions test in order to buy a license sticker/plate.
I just found this online to shed some light on that subject: Canadian and U.S. auto standards are similar but not identical. While this means that many vehicles will be considered compliant with both sets of laws, some Canadian cars may require adjustments to meet U.S. regulations. If you want to import a car into the United States from Canada, you need to ensure that it complies with all relevant regulations before making the trip southward. According to the EPA, a Canadian vehicle is identical to a United States-certified version if one of the following is true: An emission label is affixed to the Canadian vehicle stating that it is certified to United States EPA federal emission standards; or The vehicle manufacturer’s U.S. representative has provided a letter of compliance that states the vehicle complies with all United States EPA regulations. EPA usually only accepts compliance letters from a manufacturer’s U.S. or Canadian representative.
@@TundraDude34 Yes, in my 30yrs. as a tech, I know of California, Federal & way back then a High Altitude sets of Emissions Specs. I recall so-called Gray Market individually imported cars that required the installation of Emission Control Sys. CATS, SMOG PUMPS, CHARCOAL CANNISTERS, etc. Some cars needed reinforcements installed inside the doors to prevent accidental intrusion. Then, of course, the 5mph bumpers & the USA lighting. Oh, do not forget seat belts...& AIRBAGS.
Just found my second ‘21 in as many weeks in Wichita Falls, Tx. Windchill Pearl Platinum. Had to send the one last week back to dealer b/c it had undisclosed front-end damage. Pick it up down there in Thursday. 🤞🏻🤞🏻
Very cool truck. I tried to purchase a brand new Canadian Tacoma double cab 5 speed manual transmission two years ago. You couldn’t get the double cab with a stick in the U.S. I picked one out but there is a 12% tax separate from the sales tax so I was looking at 18.5% tax plus shipping. Needless to say I didn’t buy it.
Hey Mark, I will take your money man, you are giving your money to everybody,.........which one is the really really "take my money please" truck.........I dont know 😀, this is a unicorn
As a Tundra enthusiast, there are a few “take my money” trucks out there. This has always been a favorite of mine though. I got the grille on my wall 🤣
How many recalls will this one have don’t buy nothing new for the first couple years maybe four years five years my old all the new stuff has too many recalls in too many issues. I have a Toyota tundra platinum 2023. You know what I’m talking about don’t buy.
@@highplainsdrifter9849 what recall? Lol... my engine is fine dude.... I'll take my less than 1% chances of failing than buying American crap. Any day of the week... 37k miles later mine is better than ever
You should buy it Mark. Trade off the 3rd gen for it.

Nicest tundra I have seen in a while
One day i’ll tell you about how i let one of these slip in 2016. Im still mad at myself

My only question is “when are you going to pick it up”?
So crazy I almost bought this 2 weeks ago! I ended up buying a 2021 lunacorn pro for a few thousand more
I may upgrade my 2007 to a 2018-20. I'm currently at 285k and counting

I’ve been looking for a limited Rock Warrior double cab. So hard to find and when I do their northeastern trucks.
Thats another dream tundra of mine!
The greatest tundra ever made was the 2021 trd pro in magnetic grey
I do love that setup and color 🙌🏼
I would love to own a 2021 TRD Pro. Maybe I can trade my 2018 Shelby 350 for the 21 Pro? Just kidding, lol. Sweet Canadian Tundra.

Wow. Talk about holding value. Truck must be mint at that price/milage.
TRD Pros hold their value better than any Tundra. I love it
Beautiful! I wouldn’t hesitate to buy this over the new gen!
I love the stamped Tundra in the lower tailgate and the stamped TRD Pro in the bed. Why do people want to cheapen the look with inlays.
I always liked to keep the TRD Pro stamp as is, but that Tundra on the tailgate needed the black inlay. Just my opinion of course.
