I have been following David & Shane since the beginning of Zion Media Podcast in June. This was an excellent synopsis in one sitting of his life & was appreciated. Mine as well. I love David and i believe we have so much to learn about the people here in America if lds would just listen, listen with am ooen mind and pray for discernment.
Thus hate spreading through lds people is very sad and disappounting to me. We need to be abke to go back to the days of agreeing to disagree without all this hatred, ugliness, rudeness and casting judgenents.

@@celindahearld1328I would like to say that there is not going to be Same Sex Sealings in Temples that will be honored according to God’s Law. But I know the Navajo have Teachings which are True, and that David says the Symbols in the Midewewin Lodges are the Same, which means for the Navajo it is the same, but the overall goal at this time by the various secret combinations is to Divide, and Conquer, to create disunity, Promiscuity, destroy the Family, promote the pursuit and Nourishment of the Self as the highest aspiration. But yet to that end if a Parent looks to their Family and not God. They have no solid foundation. As for me I’ve only been a member a few years now, but Family is in some cases the weakness of Latterday Saints when they stop living for God.

I call him honorable because that is how I perceive him. I see him as being as transparent as he can be. Having spent some time as a visitor on several reservations myself as a young woman in the early 1970’s I know somewhat of the struggles David speaks of. It broke my heart then, and it still breaks my heart today.
Others may have a different opinion, that is okay. Because the truth will out. I will keep praying BLESSINGS 🙏🏻

Wonderful interview. I am still praying about Chief Midegah. Like him, if I’m going to believe it’s going to have to be all in. However, what part am I to play? I believe the Book of Mormon and other modern and ancient scriptures hold the clues.
LDS PROPHET John Taylor is my 10th cousin 4 times removed, lol on my maternal side. So it is an honor to be cousins with Chief David Midegah. Wonderful times are beginning to take place in HIS CHOSEN NATION.
I believe David has to work within the established order of the Church if he wants to build Zion.. Because building up Zion involves also the Church.

@@germanslicewe build temples and many contractors are not members but they are helping us build Zion. How much greater to have a High Chieftain, with as deep an ancestry and connection to The Book of Mormon, work with the church. It is the church leadership, with all the sacred property we just bought, who will have to prayerfully ascertain if they are to join Chief Midegah. I pray they will recognize the signs of who he is called to be.
I forgot to add that Chief Midegah and I are also cousins through being cousins with Joseph Smith Family. I would give most anything to be able to meet my brother in both the Ephraim and our Lamanite cousin ship. I have many Cherokee grandmothers also.... Thank you for your excellent service record. You are an honorable man and you are my hero. God has certainly prepared you for this time and the Adversary knows it. Please videotape the Fon du Lac event for those of us who can't be there, even if you charge a small amount to watch it. I have yet to see it in person, I have been in the church in the South Eastern States my whole life. I hear stories of friends and family that have served and lived in UT. Why do WE do this to each other? I can’t help but think of Alma 31. The gathering of Israel is all of Israel! It is going to look different than some expect. Psalms 136, “[truly]his mercy endureth forever.” We will find each other in unexpected places and we should rejoice like Alma and Mosiah’s Sons in Alma 17. It blows my mind that any church member would think to treat anyone otherwise. It’s a cultural problem. It is shameful and absolutely fixable.

I received another special native American initiation/information just before I woke up the other day. I definitely agree about the global reach as I live in regional South Australia 🇦🇺. A lot of beings are working in other places (dead and alive) beyond the 3d world. Lots of my spiritually sensitive friends (members and non-members) are having interesting experiences, too. I'm not good at figuring out the cousin thing. Are we related, brother David! I'm four cousin to Joseph four times removed through Lucy! I dont have any family in the church, zero. I'm a 71 yr old sister I have no children. I think we be cousins but you would have been born about the age I was when I would have been having children. That would be cool if i had a very much younger cousin like you and then your family. It's hard being a sister with no family in the church today. I love that you're message is all about the mother and father, the first parents a and they family of which we are? Love you my brother.

Has David tried to speak to any Church representatives as a Tribal leader? I he has done several UA-cam interviews. I know from him there has been attacks against his character. These interviews may not get seen by leaders of the church. David has talked about the church's silence. I hope he has tried or will try to meet with someone representing the Church.
We only asked for a message on restraint towards our Traditional Midewiwin spirituality as they did for Islam.
I’m sure that opportunity will come.

I'm a convert! I'm never moving to Utah cuz all I've ever heard is how awful the members are in Utah!! Could someone explain what is going on on Utah. Ive been a member in Tennessee and Colorado. People are just normal members here! What the heck is Utah doing!!!!!
DON’T judge EVERYONE in Utah poorly. There ARE great LDS here, including
The First Presidency, the Apostles, etc.. I understand what you’re asking, because I grew up in Texas and live in Utah now. There are some who have never left Utah and so they’re very safe and secure and snug and snug in the way that they have grown up. However, the church is now international things are very different all over the place. And Utah has its own culture, of which the church is a main part but even here in Utah the non-LDS really get involved against the church in politics and so there is a lot of stress among members of the church here to where they really don’t want to change a lot or get involved a lot and anything that’s beyond the norm here in Utah. Still a lot of good people, but the culture here is very different. I do love the mission field still, and hope someday to retire and move to the mission field.
Zion is where the heart is or where you hang your hat.
People like to complain about Utah because they expect church members here to be somehow better than church members other places. The reason you will see more ...unique... church members here is because percentage wise there are more church members here overall. That's it. You will get the same behaviors other places, but just not see it as much because the members are more spread out.
I guess we don't appreciate driving 5 minutes to attend church, and don't appreciate having classmates who are also church members. Other than that, I think we are pretty much the same as elsewhere. I have lived in Utah, California, Idaho, Hawaii, and the country of Tonga. People are basically the same everywhere.
Utah can be a rude awakening- but it also can be an amazing home. I love it here.
Not to judge too much, but my own opinion is we get more of both extremes in Utah. Also that some involve themselves for social reasons not conviction.
When you say brother David that you have "been away for awhile" what does that mean? Do you think that our Heavenly Father (Creator) has brought you back to the church you joined when you were 9 years old? I hope you care for all of your brothers and sisters... I am not sure why you said "I do not care". Trust the path... (coming from a Jew who is also a Mormon who is trying to find her native american heritage as well)

Are you willing to die? Were you suicidal before? Did you commit adultery in any form? Did you see the tree of life in the celestial room? Did God say you were lukwarm? Were you are his servant and also told despite your denial he will eas your burden by armies of 70 times 7 to ease your burden? Were you comforted from suicidal thoughts? I think it’s a misunderstanding. He may have been attacked by some people around Rod, but hard to say.
I like listening to Rod Meldrum.
Rod is one of the leaders of the Heartland movement. I think Heartlanders are the ones most inclined to consider Chief Medigah. Rod has many times has welcomed to the Book of Mormon Evidence Conferences he organizes, Betty Red Ant Fontaine, Shawn Littlebear and Dolores Kohkonen to speak: all Native American speakers. It does not make sense to me for him to say that about Brother Rod.

He’s still a member. He’s not speaking anything that would cause concern or threaten membership. Since 2019 the church has also changed its position on “ex-ing” people - some call it the John Delihn effect. Why make people famous when they’ll leave on their own seems to be their new strategy. A smart one me thinks

It does come by ordination and the laying on of hands, and yes righteousness is also required. The story told here is one of many apostates who move beyond into territory of their own, and like Ham they seek to take that authority unto themselves, creating a semblance of the truth they once knew. But their garment is not the holy garment and their ceremony is not the holy ceremony and their priesthood is not the Holy Priesthood. It is THEIR powers and priesthoods which is not God’s priesthood or powers. Be careful.
