It's great for soup and smoothies it won't heat it up but you can throw everything in a make great soups
@@smvision55 So you need still to cook it in a pot after blending ?
@Temporalplace yes it just blends it to soup level and your done normal blenders are unable to do that
How is the texture of smoothies ro soup compared to the vitamis ?
The Vitamix is on another level depending to Wich one u compare it with, this would be closer to medium to basic Vitamix

I've gotta say the soup and smoothie has been better on vita but I preferd the ice cream better on this machine and it's lot quieter. Vitamix tends to give you a smoother finish, I I would personally upgrade on the Vitamix

I bought similar Magimix online in the Netherlands 2 years ago.
Firstly reviews are opinions But surely they need to be accurate ??? I have seen elsewhere that Magimix "Power Blender" does NOT heat soup by friction ( like Vitamix & others) !!! Instead it is SAFELY designed to blend already heated ingredients with hot stock, to make a smooth as you wish soup. For eg.. apparently the liquids are not vortexed upward and risking the inner lid being ejected by heated contents..(However please confirm this elsewhere.) Also I think this lower friction design feature not only makes it quieter, (a plus)but it means you don't need ice-cubes in your smoothies to keep such high speed friction unwantedly warming up smoothies!!! I am unsure about the lid - it looks very stiff to remove without anything inside, so i need to keep researching as this video unfortunately has no demonstration of its actual use......
