  • I test the smallest of the Magimix blenders, the Blender Power 3 Premium (premium meaning it comes with BlendCups and a mill attachment, both of which I also test).
This is my very first look at all of this, so it was a totally "blind" test (and you can see that I don't even know what anything is, and totally forget to test what I later learned to be the spatula that you can use to move food around while blending in the main jug - brilliant! I will show this in my follow up video). I test a smoothie in the BlendCups, oat milk and froyo in the main jug, and ground flaxseed and coffee beans in the mill attachment.
I was given this blender by Magimix, but I have full control of this and all other videos and what I say about the products I review.
If you are considering getting one, you can get 10% off Magimix products from their UK website with the promo code SCRATCH24. This link (affiliate link) takes you to the Magimix website: c3po.link/QZBy7SJkF5 - they have lots of great offers on regularly so do check it out!
It took a lot of bravery to put this video out as postpartum has been really unkind on my skin, and I was struggling with a rash and very dry skin when shooting this video so please be kind in your comments! :) That being said, any comments will help the algorithm so feel free to disagree with me or tell me I missed something out!

Went from the MM blender to the MM blender 5. Bigger bowl was the reason.
The biggest advantages of MM. Dishwasher Save and glass bowl. Hot soup is not a problem.

Yes I love the glass bowl too! And I can totally understand why you changed to a bigger one - it’s so versatile, so being able to do bigger batches is amazing.

I went from a Kitchenaid blender to a Vitamix. The Kitchenaid also will not handel ice, but the Vitamix will. Granted it is expensive.

Interesting! What have been the biggest benefits of the switch would you say? I’ve not tried either of those brands so I’m curious to learn! Thanks for watching!

i was looking at this because it was quiet mark approved and we have noise sensitive people in our household but it does not sound very quiet in your video? :')

I’d say as far as blenders go it’s quiet - certainly quieter than my previous one, and approved by my baby (now toddler) who is pretty much unaffected by it (other than wanting to touch it 😂). However it’s not completely quiet, and some ingredients make a loud noise at first, before they’re ground, like nuts, coffee beans etc… maybe I can do more of a neutral sound test with it when I get a chance to demonstrate! 🥰

Have you tried nut butters in the blender? Would like to see how that goes as my blender just died and I'm hoping this blender can make nut butters, smoothies, and mill some grains.

I have and the result is amazing! The only downside is that you’re not really meant to run it for too long at a time (as it gets hot, smaller motor), so I stopped and let it cool a couple of times. But the end result is actually better in my opinion!

Thanks for your response, I went for the Power 4 hoping with the bigger motor it will last longer on sale at the moment so I think worth a try :)@@TheFromScratchBody

Thank you for the video! My current blender has died and I was wondering what is your opinion on the Magimix blender after 3 months of use please?

Hi Julie, thank you for your comment! A new video is nearly out (this weekend I hope), but in short I am very happy and use it a lot! More details in that video 😅 will be with you soon!

Do you still use your cook expert? I have ordered mine but considering a cancellation. There are hardly any videos on the CE which makes me think people just stop using it…

Great video! Have you tried mayonnaise in this?

    • @TheFromScratchBody
      @TheFromScratchBody  4 місяці тому

Thank you so much! Yes, I did try mayo - it worked for it, but to be totally honest I found the food processor a better option personally. It’s a bit better for the workflow of adding bit by bit for me, but saying that, I’ll probably try again and maybe I’ll get a better hang of it!
