“British Public Are Put At Risk!” Failed Asylum Seeker Pleads Guilty To Rape

- Failed asylum seeker Anicet Mayela, whose deportation was blocked by the cabin crew on his scheduled exit plane in 2005, has pleaded guilty to raping a 15-year-old girl.
Oxford Crown Court heard that there was an extreme level of 'dangerousness' during the sex attack committed by the 40-year-old Congolese national.
It comes after Prime Minister Rishi Sunak insisted he wants to get flights to Rwanda off the ground this spring but MPs will not consider the legislation again until Monday.
The House of Lords snubbed ministerial calls to back down and again insisted on revisions to the Safety of Rwanda (Asylum and Immigration) Bill.
TalkTV’s Mike Graham is joined by border control expert Henry Bolton, and broadcaster and barrister Andrew Eborn, to discuss the case.
Henry Bolton: “Democracy is a protection if you listen to it. If politicians ignore the democratic will, then democracy does not work as an insurance policy any longer.”

Anyone who stops or tries to stop a deportation after the deportation order has been rubber stamped, should be seen as a danger to this country, and treated as such. They should be held fully to account and forced to pay compensation.

The passengers and the crew do not know the reasons for the deportation. They are not qualified to interfere. I would not have done that.

I thought obstruction of the law being carried out is an arrestable offence and so the cabin crew should have been arrested and fined the maximum allowed by law

That's the one thing I can't understand, part of the sentence is automatic deportation.

Why pay them as we do that anyway. If the RAF can be used to repatriate our own people from countries that face a disaster then they can use them to get rid of illegals and scum that come here just to crimes. The simple answer is DON'T LET THEM IN IN THE FIRST PLACE.

Any asylum seeker guilt of crime should have their application denied and any granted asylum and subsequently found guilty of crime should be deported.
If you interfere in the legal process by stopping the execution of an issued court order you should be arrested and charge for that crime.

if they were incarcerated for a minimum of 6 months upon being convicted of a crime, then the deportation occurs whilst still in custody and they simply cannot be released to the UK also GPS tagging of deportable criminals all of this as part of the sentence that is handed down every single asylum seeker that then goes on to commit crime, also UK to leave the ECHR first and foremost
Let's have/see a breakdown of ethnicity of the Home Office ...this might give some answers to this seemingly incompetent organisation.

We won't be able to deport him after he's released from prison either because Human Rights lawyers will argue that, as a convicted sex offender, he might suffer "mob justice" in his country of origin. There has already been a case in which this argument was successfully employed to prevent a deportation.

There is a significant difference between being an asylum seeker and a r*pist. I have issues with this guy being prevented from being ejected from the country but I do *not* hold the cabin crew or the passengers responsible for this. They could not have known that he would do such a ghastly thing.
The real problem is our system which does not allow people to be deported. THAT is the issue here, not some people misguidedly having sympathy for this guy because no one likes seeing someone being force on an aircraft.

Honestly, I think there needs to be a level of accountability for those approving the migrants refugee/visa applications. If they accept someone and they commit a crime, we should look at who approved them in the first place.
