As a British male, if someone told me that myself and all of my friends could jump on a rubber dinghy, walk stright into another country to be temporarily housed in 5 star hotels and then be moved into free housing with benafits and access to free healthcare. I would 110% take that opportunity.
I am a British citizen, working class born and raised and working 45 hours a week and I don’t and will never have access to any of those things!
The Tory government hate the working class people of this country so much that they would rather offer all of these services and benefits to people who have literally just illegal turned up on the cost from a safe country than offer them to us.

If your application is rejected you don't just get to force your way in uninvited and demand accommodation and employment, especially when much of that money is being sent back to Albania and not spent in the UK - British people don't owe Albanians a better standard of living any more than they owe us one.
In the EU Albania is treated as a safe country so no asylum, but Global Britain cannot do that.
Nothing to do with it. Each case must be heard individually and costs a fortune so there is a huge backlog.

Just another downside...they will work in the black economy, this lowering working conditions for everybody else, and, of course, not paying taxes. Britain needs to take control of its borders. Small correction-they do pay taxes same as everyone else as they usually have to secure fake papers once they are in the UK. The ones who cannot get fake working papers are paying higher taxes because they’re put onto the emergency tax bracket.

Other nationalities migrants are in way larger numbers, but it's Albanians that are the problem. By UK's own numbers from 2019 to 2022 immigrants from India have more than doubled, reaching nearly 1 million. Yet it's 10k Albanians that are to worry about.

If I have understood the report correctly Albania is not considered to be on the Home Office list of war torn countries but people are coming due to economic problems in their home country but are coming like a migrant worker and then going again. But those who have been trafficked and vulnerable to gangs taking their passports like the mums and children they generally settle in the U.K.
If I have understood this then would it not make better sense to grant temporary working visas to allow for legal access to temporary work as it appears that Albanians are not seeking residency but seeking work. Then if working visas were issued would this not stop illegal activity of smugglers?
If someone is coming to the U.K. for work then returning to their home country then is that not the same as being a migrant worker if you are issued a visa. Therefore if working visas were offered would not asylum applications reduce significantly?

It's nothing to do with race and everything to do with originating in a country that it's technically easier to check back with and establish identity and the grounds for the request for asylum.

UK should do a deal with Albania to allow visa free travel for their citizens in exchange for a mean average minimum wage. Hence we need cheap labour.
The figures clearly show that the Alb. asylum seekers are only claiming that status because they know it takes ages for the Home Office to process their claim. This gives them ample amount of time to work illegally for a wage. That fact is actually embarrassing for the Home Office, not them.
If you think about it, they are playing by the loophole rules we created.....!!!
Why? We have visa requirements for a reason - we don't need an infinite amount of Albanian car washes or knock off builders. Visa free travel to Albania would be absolute madness given the levels of organised crime and corruption in Albania. The Albanian mafia already control the drug trade in pretty much every English city apart from Liverpool, and that's without visa free access, to give visa free access would be incredibly naive and self destructive. Part of the reason the UK is attractive to Albanians is because by working illegally they can attract more work than UK citizens can due to the lower wages, but they actually still benefit from the lower wages because once the money is sent home it has a lot more spending power due to the difference in exchange rate.
Because it's all the free spoils they get and the new government 🤔
The reason the Albanian economy is shit is because the country is poorly run. They aren't coming here to work. They are coming here to claim benefits. My Mrs was recently diagnosed with mnd, she can't work anymore, we had to wait over 3 months for her claim to be processed for disability payments (pip), a nurse I know says she was doing home visits to these hotels that house migrants to see children, their claims are processed within a week of arriving here. A British woman who has paid tax all her life, is behind these people in the queue for benefits when needed. Motor neuron disease, is behind these people in the queue. Digest that for a minute.
The British are good people, but I have to remind the people on one very very important subject, if it’s not, the Polish will be the Romanians if it’s not that will be the Albanians, don’t forget, they always used to complain about the Jamaicans or Indians in the past I can go on and on all day with the list of countries. but hey, let’s be honest about one thing they are allowed to complain. Doubtful the BBC will cover this again. They can now say they’ve covered this, but their labelling of these illegal immigrants as migrants shows what they really think.
