    मुझे भारतीयों की याद दिलाई!
    Other than the gender-specific items, most items had been reflective of what we packed when we emigrated from India, especially being very careful about the weight for luggage.

    • @LivingtheChinalife

      For self sponsored students, there is a triple room. 3 people stay together. The kitchen is in the room itself. It's quite a big dorm.
      For scholarship Students, it's a twin room and you have a common kitchen on a separate floor.

    可以在这边买到的东西不建议带,特别是又大又重的,那个电熨斗惊到我了。 It is not recommended to bring things that can be bought here, especially the big and heavy ones, the electric iron surprised me.

      1. Accommodation: International students are generally living in the dormitory of international students
      2. Eating: There are a lot of delicious and cheap food in every school, there are many shopping malls and restaurants around the school
      3. Traffic: No matter which region of China, traffic is very developed, subway, bus, taxi
      Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen and other developed regions overall consumption is higher, the western region consumption is slightly lower

      I took money in dollars and then exchanged in China. I think I took somewhere around 50,000 INR but in dollars, but it takes around 5 lacs a year if you want to study language in a 1st tier city. If you want to study in 3rd tier city, cost will be 3lac for a year.

    East Asians tend to not have the apocrine glands and body hair that result in sweat odor. That's why deodorant is mostly not a thing there.

      Hi Sohan Dsouza, do not worry about the perspiration odor in any part of the Tropical country in the world. I would like to share with you, go to any Chinese Medical shop in Asia ask for "ming fan 明矾 " It looks like an ice and it is very cheap. Singapore $.050 can use it for many years. Apply it after shower under your armpits. You will amazing by the immediate results. It really stop the perspiration odor as soon as you applying it. I would advise those first timer continue to apply it for a week or two. Then reduce it to once or twice in a month.

    No offense but some of the items like spoon, fork, knife, bowl, plate, are not necessary to carry. It makes your baggage heavy, not worthy.

    • @LivingtheChinalife
      @LivingtheChinalife  4 роки тому

      I agree! You can buy it in China as well. It's just a lot of students doesn't really want to spend money on things which they can carry with themselves and if you carry utensils made of melamine, it's quite light weight and easy to carry.

    • @meninfashion6233

      Living the China life well....why would someone carry mug, Masala buckets ? That just make fun !! Those are easily available and cost very cheap....imagine I am taking metro from airport to university, and you have to take out all your stuffs just because of that knife...embarrassing isn’t it ? After all they are going to a country which is better than India, they are people who has very long history of civilization. You sound like you going to moon. Sorry 😐

      @@meninfashion6233 First of all what do you mean by saying better than India? That sounds so rude. All of the things that she mentioned are all basic necessities, if you want to carry, take them if not, then don't. Your choice nobody is forcing. Stop making judgements on any country. I have seen students in China from different cities carry so many things that would be easily available but still they take with them because they don't want to waste their time at the beginning. That's not embarrassing. Shallow minded!
