Hello, Brother Farley, Thank you very much for emphasizing this very important Doctrine of The Scripture. I had the privilege of 57 years ago to attend Prairie Bible College in Three Hills, Alberta, Canada. I learned this important Truth through the teaching of Mr. L.E. Maxwell. During that time, I read the book written by Mr. Maxwell: "Born Crucified". This Truth is well defined in that book. Oh! What a Saviour we have to Love us so. May The Lord Jesus continue to give you His Wisdom to teach His Word. In His Love and By His Grace, Brother Gordon E. Carpenter (Isaiah 40:31; Proverbs 3:5,6)
Brother Farley, You just get better & better brother bringing so great truths. Amazing how you clarify things & make the word of God so simple to understand. That's a gift brother not to many people have that I've met. God bless you . We Love & appreicate you. ❤️🙏🙏🙏

Thank you brother Andrew for this timely message. It’s a wonder that anyone thinks they can live a sinless, faultless perfect life in this current world we live and walk in as we walk in the flesh. This series called twisted scripture is a “perfect” title to this message. For that is what the devil is doing in the minds of any who will give head to his subtle scheming ways. JESUS IS THE WAY OF TRUTH! It is JESUS who told the story of the tax collecting self professing sinner who beat his chest and could not even look up to heaven for the weight of his sins made him humble toward the God of the universe, in the contrary the religious leader, the Pharisee’s pride was boasting of himself before the ONLY ONE who is GOOD AND RIGHTEOUS, GOD ALL MIGHTY, JESUS said the tax collector went home in the right with God. ALL PRAISE TO THE KING OF GLORY JESUS CHRIST, THE LORD!
We are perfect and sinless in Christ. Paul said in Romans 7:17 & 7:20 it was no longer him who sinned but rather sin living in him that did the sinning.
Pastor, My children accepted Jesus as their savior when they were young. Now, in their 20s, they are not serving him. I'm afraid they will not be ready when Jesus comes. Based on this teaching, I hope that they will be in heaven, with me, someday.
Another way to look at this verse, which I wish you would have covered, is to say that if you are born again then the sin you do is no longer concidered sin, because it is now being used to the glory of God. But, with this we also need to be careful, because the word also says he who says they are without sin is a liar! So, Paul also talks about this in Romans saying it is no longer he who sins, but it's sin that lives in him, since he is no longer of the flesh and is now of the spirit! So, what this could mean is that our flesh which is our body still sins because none are without sin, but since we are no longer of the flesh and now born again in spirit, our spirit is not sinning. If not born again then your still sinning completely. I'm still praying about this because none of us want to have a wrong view of who we are and most importantly we want to have a right view of who Christ is in us and what he has accomplished on the cross. Regardless if you are born again he has wiped the sins away and for that we rejoice and praise our savior. We must trust in Christ alone.
It is no longer I who do it but sin that lives in me. Rom 7:17,20. It is no longer I that lives but Christ that lives in me. Sin goes on but it is no longer I who do it.
Something to remember, in Roman 7 Paul was talking about his former self. Here are some questions to ask yourself when reading Romans seven. 1. Is this the apostle Paul before or after salvation? 2. Does the law have jurisdiction over us? 3. Paul says he is on spiritual and sold in bondage to sin, What does that mean? 4. How Can you be sold in bondage to sin if you have been bought with a price, by the blood of Jesus? 5. Do you belong to St if you are gods possession? 6. Are you dead to sin? Have you died with Christ and risen with him to new life? 7. Is being sold in bondage to sin only for unbelievers? 8. When Paul says he is sold in bondage to sin and on spiritual was he talking about his former life as an unbeliever? 9. When did the commandment come into Paul’s life? Was it not from a very young age a young Pharisee? 10. Why was Paul talking in the present tense? Maybe because he wants them to be in the story. 11. What does in the flesh mean? When was Paul in the flesh? Romans 8:9 says you are not in the flash but in the spirit. it is true that we can set our mind on the flash and walk according to the flesh but we are always in the spirit. Our geography doesn’t change, our location or closeness to God doesn’t change. We are in the spirit with two ways that we can walk into ways that we can set our minds. We can bounce from one thought to another but at no time are we taken out of the spirit. We are permanently in the spirit. 12. Paul said who will rescue me from this body of death? Jesus did on the Damascus Road. He came to Jesus and exchange death for life, bondage for freedom, in the flesh for in the spirit and becomes alive for the very first time. Ps. I got all of this from another video that Andrew Farley put out in the twisted scripture series.
I've learned the sin in my life keeps me focused on my need for Jesus and what He accomplished on my behalf. Without sin or believing I've somehow overcome it, would lead me towarods religious pride. The sermons preached by most pulpits ultimately lead a person to believe the goal is to get your life together until you would no longer need Jesus, actually. The message of the Scripture from Adam to Noah, Abraham, David, and Paul has always been to live by faith. We live in Grace by faith in what Jesus has already done for us. It's not about getting sin out of our lives, it's about believing we are in right standing with our God, the Father, because we died with Jesus and have been given Life by His Spirit. His discipline as we walk with Him, whether we are "good or bad," will always lead us to a more meaningful relationship with Him. Live your life and be thankful.
We're perfect and sinless in Christ. Paul taught in Romans 7:17&7:20 that it was no longer him sinned, but rather sin living in him that did the sinning.
Great video! I agreed with everything that you had to say except for what you said at minute 36:00 you said “ why did Jesus have to die to sin? Because we were (in him ) and he did it for us. Since I disagree with what you said here my question is (when did you get in Jesus?) We did not get in Jesus until the Holy Spirit put us into Jesus at conversion.
