    Consult your doctor before doing any of these exercises, and listen your body. Stop the movement when it starts to pull or feel uncomfortable. Each day will get easier.
    I am 3.5 weeks post prophylactic bilateral mastectomy. I started my exercises day 5 post surgery. I felt so stiff and knew that if I didn’t start moving my arms, I wouldn’t ever regain my mobility. It wasn’t easy, and when I first started, I had very limited range of motion. Slowly I could start to move my arms further and longer then the time before.
    Movement is so important for healing. It creates blood flow and circulation to the body which speeds up the recovery process.
    Complete each of these exercises 3x a day and you’ll start feeling like your old self in no time.

    When would I start doing these? After remove drains?
