@valaverse I have a recommendation for your stacking boxes on pallets/skids. I was a warehouse manager for 25 years and this may help cut diwn in tape and shrink wrap usage. When stacking skids every 3rd or so layer use a large piece or a few pieces of cardboard over the boxes. The layers above will hold everything together and eliminate the stacks from tilting outward.
Or just alternate the levels of boxes to lock them in but you never!! Stack boxes straight up. I am glade this annoyed some else besides me watching this.😜 lol
Is it common to load trucks with just boxes like that? Seems very inefficient. Everywhere I worked that I had to deal with trucks, the pallets were already stacked and wrapped before they went on the truck. I can't imagine having to load or unload an entire truck one box at a time.
I totally feel Bobby's story about te chick seeing his room full of toys. Back in '99 (when being a geek was NOT cool) I was a bouncer in Boston. I was a 6'6" 310 pound bodybuilding martial artist with a fire engine red mohawk. Most people seemed to think I looked scary. So, the chicks I would pick up were looking for a dangerous badass. They'd see me working the door or wrangling a mosh pit (bars in Boston in the '90s got pretty rough) and go home with me, and in the morning, when the sun bounced off the wall of glass across the alley from me, and light would blast into my bedroom, they would look around in horror. 2 bookshelves filled with tabletop RPG books, rows of laserdiscs, CDs, video games, paperback novels, action figures, and so many Legos on the shelves. The look of horror that they banged a nerd was usually so obvious. It was pretty funny. Though I did eventually meet a few women who thought my dorky side was pretty cool, and I'm still friends with them a quarter century later.
Bobby’s Power of the Force 2 story is a message to all of us to never be embarrassed about collecting - the way I look at it - one day I’m gonna be in an old people’s home - and I can look back and say I collected figures and it brought me happiness rather than i did what others wanted ☺️👍
Nice warehouse. Any reason why you straight stack a pallet when unloading? Wouldn't it be better to change the direction of the boxes after each level? Known as a pallet tie. It would save a ton of funds in tape.
As someone with a logistics background, it's physically painful for me to see the boxes stacked on a pallet without using an overlapping brick pattern! Fun video otherwise!
I used to make toys and games. Sometimes they attach a wire to the toy so you can press a button on the box to try it in the store when it's on display. It usually activates some kind of demo mode or plays sounds. See if it pops off.
Normal procedure. Customs can “destroy” a certain percentage for inspection purposes. Also I’m sure CPSC sent that one figure to be examined for paint, proper labeling, packaging, etc. The slicing on the side of the box is the way to look for contraband. Most times merchandise is on top or below and “stuff” is in between. 10% of a container normally gets examined. 100% is examined if something worth is found.
Normally what makes Customs hold on to a shipment is trademark verification or where it’s coming from or if something bad was found on the same bill on another container.
Correct. During CBP exams, merchandise can get damaged and if significant enough, you can file a tort claim, but it can be time-consuming, so always get a supervisory official involved. US Customs and Border Protection (CBP) does in fact enforce hundres laws for other agencies to include the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC). However, certain ports of entry have CPSC inspectors on site or who are called in for specific operations with CBP. JFK & EWR are large ports and would have them on site. CPSC should have left a notice with your warehouse provider or broker. When CBP conducts an exam on cargo/merchandise, a bright green tape with the Dept of Homeland Security (DHS) seal on it is used to re-seal the box Also, CBP would have left some type of notice in the inspected box or with your broker about the inspection, whether it have been for compliance or a violation of some sort. Look into the Customs Trade Partnership Against Terrorism (CTPAT) program as it can reduce the number of customs exams you get and see if it's a fit for your business.
The wire is the test button they attach to the box so kids can try that feature. It's on christmas and halloween decorations too. You can just unplug and and throw it away.
I worked at a dock full of those doors. and had to operate muiltiple ones during winter when the power went out. it really sucks manually opening and closing bay doors all day. especially by yourself.
You should invest in a small line.. and have a offload station next to the loading dock.. have like a bunch of pallets down on each side of the line and a guy in the truck loading it..
The USPS is on my ISH list as of now. They damaged a boxed figure going to a customer. The customer was a collector, who kept his figures in box. The customer demanded a refund (which I granted) and the USPS refused to cover the refund fee I had to pay after they confiscated the figure. Then they straight up "lost" 🙄 a four pack figure I shipped to a customer and it took 3 months for them to send me a check to cover it.
That set is amazing. Looks even better in person! Usually digital renders on the packaging from certain toy lines are better than the actual product, but this set is far superior! Thanks for the amazing work!

That 100th exclusive figure from what saw it looks amazing. Got to admit truly hate when hear exclusive at a convention or a certain place got to be at. Being disabled and partial paralyzed waist down along with other major medical issues now from an old department injury, I just can’t get out and and travel anymore, heck can’t even drive to a grocery store no less. But 1 thing do love about your company you built is you think of your fans and customers. Cobra terrordrome! yeah, 1/12... and now, by promoting such feats, legends guys will get ideas Doom terrordrome, shield tanks, Avengers s tower, who knows what... it s in the brands s interest to push this to work on the customers - fans s image they are not 'incells' isolated guys who love guns, and violence... a good part of us are artists, dios are 'art nouveau' deco I personally push the genre with real plants included in the scenes, or water works in reality, the figs are great pieces of art, very inspiring to build pieces - scenes for I also add lights to give it more flair and realism. also, if you want to sell max, people need to have the best management possible, save on space and dusting, can have guests coming over with pride and confidence. so I always specify fig capacity, 5 - 8 fig cap, 20 - 30 fig cap ex ; I have around 80 figs, and my dios [4] cap is 70+ so many can stay in box, or I can deploy more, but squeezed tighter the cap is set by personal bubble space, a natural thing to understand at 5 figs, the scene breathes, at 8, they re close to bubble intrusion hopefully, you ll find a way to have your line distributed here one day or I ll move somewhere I could have safe online deliveries, hey, it s possible I m in a real Joe situation here, gangsters, the whole shebang! and this situation leads to good money, or this could be my last post ever, wrong place, wrong time, bye bye! action force! so now you know... good show bro

plastic panels, but the genius was the beams and universal joints
one could slide cardboard panels in the beams grooves, and lock with the joints
once you have a 'framed' panel, you can combine them to do any kind of box - building
introduction to the system
I d see a 'build a figure' type of intro here
provide 10' x 10' cardboard panels dio background 4 beams and joints
once all figs are yours, you have a complete dio - room
but....
I d sell kits of beams & joints separately too, cheap
1 10 x 10 panel - door frame cut
1 10 x 10' panel window cut
to break the ice, and inspire
the beauty is the standard....
in conventions, fans can add - complement each other s bases, cities, manufactures, anything!
shelving figures is so sad when they cry so much for action! ha, ha
roof - defence cardboard panels
panels that have a round cut to rotate turrets - radars
I d go C & C defences, all factions - standard cheap turrets
gattlings, missiles, lasers, cannons, ect
hole and turret bases standard
could be used 'stand alone' since the cardboard panel is 'framed' solid to the ground - stable
do not ask what Hasbro, the community can do for you...
ask yourself what you can do for Hasbro and the community
God bless America and world peace!

Can’t wait for Terrificon. I hope you have product left by the time I get there Sunday.
I'm grateful to you for showing me your Action figures you always been nice honest person 😌 ✨️
Great videos as always!!!! I can’t wait to see the china trip!
First time seeing this toy line, and they look great. I might pick one up!
You should!
Great video, keep up the awesome content and fun hunts 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Right at the beginning I thought he was holding a micro machines star wars playset that starts as a character head.
Pretty sure the wire is a test in box part of packaging, it should unplug then function with out it.
This just sold me on this set…placing order now.
Company owner, off-loading a truck. I can't imagine anybody at Hasbro or Mattel taking that kind of care for the product.
That was a great video. More of this kinda stuff PLEASE. If you need a warehouse guy I’m totally available and I’m cheap lmao
I've had my stuff stolen by neighbors, and then one of their kids nearly choked on a small piece.
Yikes!
Vala steady teasing us with these AF themed clothes...sell em dangit Bobby
I like some of the figures you’ve made. Especially the new ones coming out. Maybe I will buy one soon, but it is physically painful to watch you guys stack boxes.😂😂😂 if you just stack them like bricks, it will not be so wobbly. But what the hell do I know?😂😂
Me sitting here watching trying to figure out how to "tie" those pallets so they are more stable and don't need to be taped.
Really @customsborderprotect ? WTFO!?!?
At the 11:46 mark, Bobby: "....our 100th item; no one say anything..."...meanwhile at the 2:38 mark...
Question Time!
1. So if Col. Siege is the CO of Action Force...who's Kestrel, and figure when?
2. The CST Praetorian: the mission file card suggests they are far more powerful than what would be needed to but just bodyguards for the Enlightened. Is it safe to say that they also serve as a contingency should the Swarm revolt, since the Swarm would have the technology to be able to fight them, as say, a consequence of the events in Broken Alliances?
3. More Swarm please?
Will there be any conversation you will be at in Virginia with the 100th figure?
We've got one coming up in Tennessee that's close to Virginia!
@@Valaverse what's the date for the Tennessee conversation?
Quick question are you going to add series five to bbts or wal mart
Trying
Is it any great surprise that certain organizations take stuff without permission?
It's happening at every level.
Thumbs up
Cant wait to get and see white dragon. JDF was the man and its his last role. RIP JDF.
The wire on the Moana playset should be removable. It’s for the try me function only
DFW shall be Lit
So...when is that cut up white dragon box going to the wounded warehouse?😊
Still need extra hands for dfw👀
probably
Customs are Valaverse fans 😅😅😅😅
Bro, would ever do an 80’s action themed figures? The Falling Guy (not colt stevens, The Night guy (not michael knight), magnum mustache (not tom magnum)?
Gotta love government agencies 😑
Now this was entertaining
You hiring Bobby ? I can unload that trailer for you
Well, now I have flash backs of working at fed Ex. Who's going to DFW?
Booked and ready 4DFW can't wait.
@@RoleKeeper Cool. Say hi when you see us.
Is my Vanguard in there?
This contents is very entertaining you should create a side channel that focuses on this stuff!!!
Grrr customs
These guys work for 2 hours and are beat 😂😂😂 😅😅
Good ol days unloading and loading at amazon lol ppl are jerks smh stay bless
The Junkman?
That 100th exclusive figure from what saw it looks amazing. Got to admit truly hate when hear exclusive at a convention or a certain place got to be at. Being disabled and partial paralyzed waist down along with other major medical issues now from an old department injury, I just can’t get out and and travel anymore, heck can’t even drive to a grocery store no less. But 1 thing do love about your company you built is you think of your fans and customers. So yeah it hurts knowing that a special variant will be out there of this 100th figure that may not come with all the same accessories or a maybe a slightly different look but at least you still will be releasing it out to the public it sounds like. just hope I still have some funds on hand when you do release that figure to the masses and you got enough to sell to all us. Lord knows just spent all could on series 5 last night, got about 90%mod series 5. You keep rocking
Wow haha haven’t you been in the industry long enough to know some of the SOP for customs? I’m sure you’re frustrated this happened but it’s funny you would post saying US customs “stole” your merchandise. That’s wild man haha
If they took something without his permission that's the textbook definition of theft.
@@ucitymetalhead you’ve never dealt with customs before huh?
@@BaldyLockz thankfully no.
ah, ha, 'white dragon' sounds a lot like dea stuff in there, no?
made ; is it about the red dragon?
; shut up about the red dragon! ok man?
ha, ha
ah bro, I m still a fan, with no fig at all...
I don t buy online, and even comic stores here in Quebec near Montreal have no Valas... nothing
there s at least 10 figs + the jeep I d get bro
my fav is the new robot, mmmm, I love it, very cool design.
I d love some weapons too, and how about making a universal jet pack with straps hein?
one size fits all, Valas, Joes, legends... hey, even Indy could use one
a bike could rock enough, sport, ninja for stormy or snake eyes
or colour match with the robots, like it makes one unit....
mmm, getting ideas? ha, ha
ah, looking at this, I d love to live nearby your office and lend a hand
and yeah, just a fig or 2 would keep me motivated
no box or anything, loose stuff, hey, you have the perfect system,
all swaps around! you can t do wrong with that.
I d love to see how many legends civilian heads are swappable with your crew - teams
yeah, I like the cartoon - movie look on my dios, I add civilians, to liven things up, have witnesses, and reactions.
and how about a 'city emergency' complementary line?
many of us could use police officers, nurses, doctors, ambulance crew, firemen, stuff you see in action - crime scenes
police cars, taxis, ambulances would look equally realistic on an urban dio
I m on a mission, yeah, artistic revolution in the fig collection community
this 'one fig to the next' competitive and shallow atmosphere we have currently
who has more space, money, connections to get most and first, childish...
we ll always be excited to see the new releases, but this is ridiculous and hurts us all
art, posing, dios, pic montages are the remedy to this soulless rat race
some guys do fantastic stuff on their own, in garages, dios yeah, but now 3 D printed
rolling thunders, Destro s demons, and now... Cobra terrordrome! yeah, 1/12...
and now, by promoting such feats, legends guys will get ideas
Doom terrordrome, shield tanks, Avengers s tower, who knows what...
it s in the brands s interest to push this to work on the customers - fans s image
they are not 'incells' isolated guys who love guns, and violence...
a good part of us are artists, dios are 'art nouveau' deco
I personally push the genre with real plants included in the scenes, or water works
in reality, the figs are great pieces of art, very inspiring to build pieces - scenes for
I also add lights to give it more flair and realism.
also, if you want to sell max, people need to have the best management possible,
save on space and dusting, can have guests coming over with pride and confidence.
so I always specify fig capacity, 5 - 8 fig cap, 20 - 30 fig cap
ex ; I have around 80 figs, and my dios [4] cap is 70+
so many can stay in box, or I can deploy more, but squeezed tighter
the cap is set by personal bubble space, a natural thing to understand
at 5 figs, the scene breathes, at 8, they re close to bubble intrusion
hopefully, you ll find a way to have your line distributed here one day
or I ll move somewhere I could have safe online deliveries, hey, it s possible
I m in a real Joe situation here, gangsters, the whole shebang!
and this situation leads to good money, or
this could be my last post ever, wrong place, wrong time, bye bye!
action force!
so now you know...
good show bro
I could work for Vala. I get his methods and preferences. James Cameron caliber.
I’d like to see the movie first, before I buy a figure.
The figures look great, but I want to make sure I actually like the movie.
Bro.. obviously customs was super suspicious of how a company that is going out of business continues to sell mass product… they are probably talking to their consultant “the guru” and scratching their heads in confusion.
Haha
First !
Awesome!
Poor Bobby, bad enough he has manchild trolls giving him crap on the internet, he's even being undermined by his own subordinates! :(
🤣😂🤣😂 all that trouble a single figure your fake you just made that for the video.
What's that?
It sounds like a line from All Your Base Are Belong To Us.
