- Here is a special video I put together, focused entirely on the detail affects, like rust spots, pitting, and rust streaking as well. I am using acrylic paints, and chalk pastels for all of these affects!
Dan. I can speak for most when I say "thank you" for sharing your techniques with us in the weathering community. By doing that you make and take us to the next level of weathering. I always look forward to your weathering videos! Great job as always and thanks again!
Your the best I've ever seen in weathering, that's what makes this hobby real fun when your Locomotives an rolling stock look real 👍
Dan, this is the first video of yours I've seen, and definitely won't be the last! Excellent demo and technique.

Dan, having just watched one of your videos can I say that the tank wagon didn't look 'pretty good...' it looked fantastic! Very well done!
Hello Dan , you can also use grease em for a oily greasey affect !!
Nice. Really appreciate your process and attention to details. Just wondering if you prep the car with dull cote first. Or finish with dull cote. Thanks for sharing. 🚂
Is that pumped up kicks I hear in the background lol
Hello. Your work is most beautiful. Is there a way I could find the place where you sell your stuff? Thank you
Dan, very nice work, great instructional video. Do you seal the car with dullcoat or matt varnish?
As always amazing work of yours.
Dan did you make your own valve cover on this tank car? Atlas is using that style of car for its casutic soda (sodium hydroxide) series but they lack valve cover domes and the platforms aren't correct.
