In this video I talk about some of the reasons why I LOVE living in Kaohsiung, Taiwan. Teaching English here for two years has been an incredible and enriching experience. 真不敢相信才兩年，衛斯理就得到這麼棒的成就：颱風及介紹高雄的影片上了新聞及綜藝節目官網；

雖然台灣天氣有時候很極端，但看到國外暴雪的影片想一想，台灣還算很幸福起碼極端還有更極端的地方可比，在台灣想看雪就去武嶺等雪即可 。 (^(エ)^)

高雄本來就是一個適合居住的地方離墾丁又近可以去度假，要看海龜去小琉球也很近，是一個玩海的好地方

高雄除了天氣穩定還有很多好吃的美食，物價合理，交通便利，南部人的熱情是一大誘因，如果是我選擇居住地也會選高雄其實台南也不錯，缺點是薪水平均上還是北部優，不過北部的消費真的很高，綜合下來南部會是很好的選擇，歡迎你來高雄定居 兄弟長的非常的相似，媽媽很可愛。
In addition to the stable weather in Kaohsiung, there are many delicious foods with reasonable prices and convenient transportation. The enthusiasm of the people in the south is a major incentive. If I choose a place of residence, I will also choose Kaohsiung. In fact, Tainan is also good. @@shitminshit 的確是，之前常上北部蠻容易下雨，冬天溫度也比較冷，我是覺得吃飯不太方便，每次吃都要花一到兩小時或更久，在南部就不需要花太多時間，在吃飯這部份，如果是以風景區來說台灣各地都有他獨特的風格，在南部生活久了，去北部真的會很不習慣步調太快了很難放鬆，結論就是南部很適合居住，不管做什麼都很方便。
沒錯！ 台灣是非常國際化的地方，尖端人才一起帶領整個台灣一起往前進步，台灣一定可以永遠進步下去到永遠的，各方面，大家加油 。 (^(エ)^)y

說到高雄景點，最近台20線南橫公路有開放桃源梅山口到天池，一路風景跟天池上的風景很漂亮，有時間可以去看看喔!但是有一些規定，所以記得要先查好規定是什麼再去，以免不能上去白跑一趟。
嗚……想念高雄，嫁到別縣市後才體會到高雄的好！懷念高雄大太陽，我喜歡曬太陽

Just showed this video to my girlfriend. I kept saying Kaohsiung is awesome, but she just cannot believe!
Yeah I love living here, coming up to 18 years! When I first came love river was really horrible so smelly and black water, the pollution was even worse than now! I remember I stayed at the Hi Lai hotel and from the 33rd floor looking north you could not even see shou shan for weeks at a time. Yes the pollution in recent years has got bad again, but nothing like 18 years ago. Still a fantastic city to live, it is a cyclist paradise, can go mountain biking and hiking 5 min from my doorstep, 40min by bike I'm in the quiet roads behind Yanchao. Beach 10min drive. What a place
Welcome home. I grew up in Kaohsiung. I used to study in Taipei but I can never get used to life in Taipei. I love Kaohsiung.

光天氣台北就不知輸了幾條街，高鐵這麼方便想去台北隨時可以去啊，真的說要生活還是南部比較好。屏東也很棒，市區不大但生活機能超好！

感謝你對高雄的介紹,高雄生活節奏也比輕慢,相對輕鬆,高雄人真的很熱情,也比較有人情味!生活的花費真的比較不用花那麼多錢,高雄有山有海,去那玩都是不錯的選擇!
我住在澳洲10年。在來澳洲之前，我在台北工作10年，當時很不喜歡高雄（大家的刻板印象想法）。前幾年我回台灣玩，我到高雄幾天。
我當下就感覺到不同的體驗。
1-薪水其實沒有很低。
2-消費沒台北高。
這兩點綜合下，等於-台北收入高，但消費更高。高雄收入低，但消費沒有那麼高。所以是相等的狀態。
3-生活模式比較慵懶，慢步調。（台北很快，所以壓力比較高）
4-路很寬。
5-離海邊近，以及墾丁。
（台北也有海域，但墾丁偏向渡假風）
6-生活比較多元。因為的確可以到台東，花蓮。（台北雖然可以到宜蘭，但宜蘭已經是台北人的後花園，這沒有多元生活了，只是台北人暫時逃離城市的一個城市而已，所以你還是一樣遇到台北人。但花東就可以有很不同的生活方式。）
高雄的問題從來不是低薪而是機會太少相對北部而言.除了台北跟竹科比不上.高雄的薪水中位數還是在前段.非常有錢的人不多但有錢人還是不少的

Wow two years!! Thanks for loving Kaohsiung, most of the foreigners just want to stay in Taipei, quite pity.
When you live in a foreign city, you usually come with exotic feelings. When I first set foot on Canada, the sun didn't set until half past 10 in the night. I felt it was bizarre. Every house was surrounded by high trees with well-trimmed lawns in the front yards. Seaplanes took off from the water and seagulls or large birds stood nearby. All made me felt surreal.
Kaushiung is bigger than any cities in Canada except Toronto but it gives the impression of a labour-intensive city and it's water quality isn't good. The scenery in Kauhsiung is pretty good though with the love river flowing slowly through it. Maybe we should consider how to change it to a technology intensive city and make the sauce of pollution less and less.

Kaohsiung is great Wes but my heart is in Tainan and always will be. 30 mins drive and less pollution than Kaohsiung and way more culture. Tainan Wins every time but Kaohsiung holds good memories for me too. Great video and I love you’re passion for a great place like Kaohsiung 🙏
I also really love Tainan. If I was ever going to move to a different city, I would probably choose Tainan.
