Holy Stone - Congratulations on all of your subscribers. My name is Dwight and I live in Mansfield, Ohio. I teach an Aeronautics STEAM/STEM class. My students mostly make fixed winged aircrafts, but we’d like to get into drones. Thank you for the opportunity and the nice again, congratulations!
Oh wow that is so cool I just seen this review after the giveaway and it’s super cool thank you me and my son are going to have a blast I think this maybe his first drone looks really cool for him to try to learn on he’s been using the sanrock u61w and he’s gotten really good he’s only 4 but he’s so advanced for his age he loves rc trucks so I’m sure we will get lots of fun flights with this one thank you a million again james
Holy stone! Jeff from Frisco, TX. I think you said we're sort of neighbors. Thanks for the reviews. I would be interested in seeing some tutorials on editing to get the footage into something useful that can be posted on social media.
Michael Pemantel I say HolyStone makes great drones,& that I would gladly review drones for them.My name is Michael Pemantel & I live in Knox,NY.Hope I win because the drone that I have now isn't that good, already had a gear break after only 5 flights. It's a ZLL SG907 Pro,that I was gifted for Christmas. It flies well, takes good photos, but with the video is shaky.I'm looking to upgrade, but being disabled limits my funds to very little.I love photography,& have a good Canon digital camera, but I'm always looking to try something different, like "light painting",& motion blur.I like to think outside of the box,& I think that's why I received the drone. It also helps(for me)to relieve stress,& my grandson loves grandpa's "helicopter"😁Tried to tell him it's a drone, but 3yo boys know more than a 51yo man😂😂😂😂You & your wife have a great day, happy flying,& fly safe🚁PS.they really need a drone emoji😁 #wheresthedroneemoji Oh...I say HolyStone!
@@b4ugo Awww man that sucks(heh heh). Just let me know if you want to come over and take a look with my DJI Inspire 2 X7. I'll get you all fixed up in a Jiffy(*runs away again because he knows you're a roofer)
@@b4ugo Based on the looks of the HS720G my assumption is that they’re rather similar and it probably made more sense to stick with that product number as the “Top tier” holy stone. I am extremely interested in seeing what the range for the HS720G will be The advertised range was one of the main things that really interested me about the HS 600 as I believe the FPV range is extremely further than any of the current drones

Hello and thank you for this video. Yesterday, I purchased my first drone, a used Holy Stone hs165. All I've done is charge it so far. It only came with one battery. I didn't know it was supposed to have two. I'm watching videos to learn how to calibrate and fly it. If I t works and I like it, I'll probably want/need to get another battery. I looked on the Holy Stone website and don't see anything about the HS165 at all. I assume the drone is discontinued. Even so, I would think that the manufacturer should still continue to support their products and make parts available. Do you know where I could find a battery and other parts like the gears/motors that you mentioned? Thank you!

How much did you pay. Might be. Eat to learn with this drone then upgrade to newer model and pass that to the next pilot! Thanks for watching
@@b4ugo I paid $50.00. I thought that was a good deal, but I can't get it to calibrate the compass or aquire gps lock. White lights keep blinking. I can activate the propellers but it won't fly. UPDATE:. The screen settings for calibration would never work so I tried the joystick controls. Nothing after 4-5 tries. All of a sudden the calibration screen came up. I got it to calibrate, but gps lock took almost 10 minutes. I finally got it airborne but soon after I got the low battery signal. I hit the Home button and it came back safely. Hopefully, my next attempt will go another.
Why do you only review Holy stone drones? I keep looking at reviews at the holy stone 700e and the dji mini se and it seems everyone says go with the dji. It seems that on paper the Holy stone os better though. Thoughts?
I review many other drones than HS, The DJI MiniSE is the best deal on the planet, I think they sell it to cheap, i have a review on it, The 700E is a good drone and very stable and comes with multiple batters and a great case. The SE comes with 1 battery and no case but it is more of a professional drone. DJI has 74% of the market for a reason. Everyone’s first drone should be a Mini Drone and HS definitely has the best in the HS@210, thanks for watching

Hey James. I looked over as you took it up a bit higher and noticed that you have a bit of what looks like storm damage on your roof. *runs away*
Lol, i sure hope not, I’m a roofer and just put a 50 year roof on 3 years ago!

One of my gears aren’t moving at the same speed as my other ones what do I do…. 7:05
Only thing to do is replace the motor, might be time for a new drone. Brushed motors don’t last as long as brushless unfortunately
