My mom and my step mom were Avon ladies! My step mom was actually my mom’s Avon lady. Before she was with me dad, obvs. 😂 Avon was a big part of my childhood. I had the Avon suitcase when my mom quit. I used to pack it up and pretend I was an Avon lady. So this was really nostalgic and awesome for me. I remember the catalog and the little perfumes for kids that would arrive in my Christmas stocking.
My two favorite things in life are ASMR and Nostalgia for my 70"s childhood. I LOVE LOVE your hands. Reminds me of my late mom's. Thank you for your generous gifts.

100% Hands down the same for me too! I was searching vintage AVON to find out how old some of my AVON products are that I cherish, and to reignite memories from my childhood when my Momma was young and so full of life., I happened upon this site. And yes.... Right back to the 70's. I remember my first AVON lip balm pin and perfume pin! I wore them in 4th grade 😊. I swear I can still feel the texture and remember the smell of both of them in my mind!!! I can even remember the "snap" of each little lid. And yes.. Agreed! her hands... My Momma too. 9 years she's been gone. My heart will never beat the same. I miss her terribly and a part of me dies over and over missing her. So thank you for this video! It reconnected me in some way to my beautiful Mother and to cherished memories. 😊

It takes me back to my earliest days with my mom in the department stores and at the cosmetics counters, waiting for her to make her selections. This brings her back to me if only in spirit. I was born in 63 ....so true about going to the department stores. My mom's favorite store was Robinson's. I loved it. The makeup department and counters were so opulent. My mom was also an Avon lady. This is great . I just found this channel!

These videos always take me back to when my Aunt Esther sold Avon. It also reminds me of taking naps and hearing my mother trying to be quiet while putting laundry away in my room, as well as hearing other quiet activities in the house while napping. All of your videos remind me of my childhood and seeing my mother and aunts socialize. I really enjoy your channel and very often fall asleep to one of your videos.
When I was about 11, my mom was an avon lady. Remember all her samples. My sister and I were allowed to use some of the small ,lipstick samples. So fun.

Not the same time period, but my mom sold Avon in the 90s/early 00s and so when I saw this video recommended for me on the youtube homepage, I had to click. Lovely ASMR; fun and perfectly soft spoken.
This brought back a lot of memories. I was born in the 1960s and remember how much Avon my grandmother bought. I was surprised how authetic your items were. I got my love of lipstick from my grandma's lipsticks from Avon, too. They were probably samples. They came in small white tubes, about an inch high, and when Grandma was almost done with them, she would give them to me. I was about 5. It was a big thrill for me.
I share the exact same experience, except it was my mother who bought the Avon and gave me her leftover lipstick samples. She’d keep them in the refrigerator because they’d melt so easily (with no AC in the house). it’s insane to see how limited to shade ranges were back then. i guess not that insane when you think about it. i wish i could say that it was a lot better now but some brands still aren’t making dark enough shades.
It's fair that brands still should expand their ranges, but I've NEVER seen something close to THIS bad unless it was either an Asian beauty bb cream with 2 shades total or a product range originally made at least 20 years ago. This is legit the worst I've probably ever seen considering that it's like 9 colors and the range is "light skintone" to "light skintone person sat outside for 1 hour"
You’re both absolutely right. This Avon color range was made in the 1960s, about 50-55 years ago. I wanted to emphasize the limitations of Avon back then by ironically pointing out “the vast number of shades we offer.” It’s pitiful, yes. It’s also 1960s.
Yes the details and packaging were so elegant back then… Avon doesn’t do that anymore… the products were so unique you couldn’t find them anywhere else…miss that…

My mom always used Dew Kiss as lip balm, that was great stuff. I haven’t gotten Avon for at least a decade, but your videos are making me want to see what they have now. 😂 I don’t know how many times I’ve watched this specific video, I’m sure more than 50 times, not including every time I had to rewind it because I drifted off. So far it’s probably my favorite, something about the foundation explanation and application gives me extra tingles. 😊

I am watching your videos out of order, just watched the one with you caring for Sophie when she was sick. In this video, I learn she is a shy girl who comes to life around her Brownie friends. It's nice to have your characters filled out more in different role plays. Incidentally, I was a shy girl who went to one Brownie meeting and couldn't get past her shyness there. 😢 But found other good friends elsewhere.

The rings you are wearing are very similar to my mother’s wedding and engagement set. They are made of platinum instead of gold, which I guess was popular in the late 50s when my parents got married.

i only found your channel a couple weeks ago, but i love the stuff you do!! i always hate when asmr roleplays are over the top. like the ones where people stop mid sentence to tap on something. i love how realistic your videos feel while also still being in the style of a typical asmr video!

I don’t know how many times I’ve watched this specific video, I’m sure more than 50 times, not including every time I had to rewind it because I drifted off. So far it’s probably my favorite, something about the foundation explanation and application gives me extra tingles. 😊

I am watching your videos out of order, just watched the one with you caring for Sophie when she was sick. In this video, I learn she is a shy girl who comes to life around her Brownie friends. It's nice to have your characters filled out more in different role plays. Incidentally, I was a shy girl who went to one Brownie meeting and couldn't get past her shyness there. 😢 But found other good friends elsewhere.
