Great job!! I been installing for 18 years now. Enjoy watching videos. Always like to see other people’s methods. One trick I do on the side mouldings is leave the bottom screw in and swing moulding down. That screw is a pain. Keep up the good videos.

You did a great job. I would love to see you use a real cold knife. I have done Windshields for ten years the only power tool we use is a ambush. Have never used any type of wire or cord system. I would love to learn but there are very expensive. Me and my boss did a 1549 in 15 mins one day. That was pulling the truck in, completely remove the wiper and cowling. Take out the windshield rest and reinstall the wipers , cowling and vacuum the floors and seats and wipe down the car. And pulled my out of the shop. Great videos

Really cool tools that you're using but I can already tell that this would take too long to be worth buying that tool. The simple design of this windshield should not require this much effort, just "eye" the top corners to align with the rain guards and make sure the U-Lip molding is flush to the top portion of the pinchweld. But we all have our own ways of doing things.

    • @AlfredosAutoGlassRepairCorona

I cut them out just like Alfredo does in this video but then I even use the EQ on the top from the inside. Just make sure to lubricate very good! That encapsulation around them can be a pain.
He Alfredo what do you use for a lubrication? I use a 1/2 cup of Super Seven degreaser and top off my bottle with water. Keeps the blade cool and it’s great for wiping down dashboards.
