It pulls right out. I pried mine up with a wooden shish kabob stick (handy things to have around). Don't use metal against the edge of that tempered glass, or you might be sweeping the windshield up into a dust pan. I got the end up and then grabbed it with pliers and pulled it out slowly. Oh, where dirty minds go 😅
Wish I would have watched this video before I order new upper windshiled molding and ripped my old one off...I thought I could just put it back on...nope...
