I adore a good storm, one of my favorite things is to enjoy all the weather, no matter what it is, wherever I go. If i could, I'd live in one place for a full year's seasons turning, and then go to the next stop and enjoy a full seasons turning there. That would be a lot of places, though. Maybe consolidate into specific regions, instead.

Your cooking with Charlie portion of the video made me remember that when we stayed at Strawtop Cottage last month (which was so wonderful), my husband let me sleep in and surprised me by cooking breakfast. Unfortunately, he had never heard of an induction cooktop so he had quite a time figuring it out lol. However, he did persevere! Also, what in the world was the game with rock, paper, scissors with tortillas????? That was hilarious! Awww good for Dickens! He's so adorable. xoxo

I was at the epicentre of that storm. Thankfully, my summer house is on a slopey mountain and did not flood but all of the nearby villages in the plains were flooded. People perished, animals, businesses , crops and houses destroyed. It was the WORST storm I've ever experienced, a total nightmare. It rained three year's worth of rain in three days!

It’s horrific that people die from storms and lose their homes, like forest fires and floods experienced all over the world this past few months. It makes us appreciate more what we do have. ❤️🇨🇦 Also I find many people who travel always compare what they don’t have rather than appreciating the local food, custom etc. Isn’t that the reason we travel to learn about other cultures ? I hope you continue to be safe .
Hi Josie, I think that bucket hat is really pretty. Also from a functional point of view it’s much better than a cap because one’s tips of the ears are protected. I know a couple of people who got skin cancer because improper coverage of the head and neck area . 👠❤️🇨🇦
The purpose of the hat is to protect your skin. Look up keratosis and then you won't be so desperate to see the sun. The hat is cute but I find it too hot to wear sometimes so I put my hair up and then you can't wear a hat and I can't wear make up either just a tiny bit of concealer if I need to.

I stayed at Emelisse Hotel, a haven of peace and tranquillity. The Emblisi beach is so perfect, and Fiskardo is definitely Kefalonia’s most glamorous spot! The Greek islands are just magical....

Hello! Greek gal over here! The Ionian islands have usual rains all year round because of the geomorphology of the area. The Cyclades, Peloponnese, Crete and Dodekanisa are sunnier and warmer in summer/ autumn (and I believe much prettier and more interesting that Kefalonia) ❤
I am so missing my Greek holidays for the last 5 years - but it looks like I’m going to be cleared to fly again (heart condition) and I adore Kefalonia - especially Fiscardo. We had a two week holiday there about 15 years ago when it rained and gales for 8 of our 11 days - it’s so disappointing - so I totally understand - but if you had to swap and hsvd rain and cloud for the week if your amazing wedding to get your week of sunshine on this holiday - we both know you wouldn’t swap it for anything - - you have years and years to come back to the Islands and your wedding was the one off amazing experience that dreadful weather could have really spoiled 🥰🥰🥰🥰 it looks like you all had a fab time despite the weather ❤

The weather is what it is, changeable and I really love that - if it's more than seven days of the same weather I get bored. Doesn’t make any difference if it's sunny or rainy. And as long as nobody's getting hurt or becoming homeless, summer thunder storms are my favourite. So this summer hasn't been my favourite as June was too dry (no rain all month - drought index off the scale), July was all rain (twice the average rainfall), August was better as it was changeable (the best of the summer months as we had both sun and rain) - I suppose we'd better get used to climate change.

Very impressed 6 figure sums not to work with alcohol brands - Charlie I am so proud of you and there are so many bloggers who literally boast about getting drunk and I am completely turned off as a viewer. Well done you for your mature outlook and principles. It is enlightening to hear that and it is truly disgusting that that is what is going on. I worked for the NHS for 35 years and also a Drug and Alcohol NHS team and to see and smell someone dying from alcoholism I will never forget and alcohol is a poison and you are neurologically interruped when you drink because your body is being posioned. The body leaks fluid when you die from alcoholism as the organs fail and you turn yellow from jaundice before that stage etc etc - not a good look.
I can honestly say that in all my 67 years on planet Earth, I’ve never once worked out on holiday…..🤣🤣🤣 I so admire your dedication to working out! I’m so sorry the weather did not fully cooperate. In Greece, we don’t buy our meat from the supermarket, we buy it from the local butcher. Every neighbourhood has a local butcher and a local baker.
That sounds so lovely! I like the idea of a community all having a skilled local butcher that they know and trust handling their food.

Very impressed 6 figure sums not to work with alcohol brands - Charlie I am so proud of you and there are so many bloggers who literally boast about getting drunk and I am completely turned off as a viewer. Well done you for your mature outlook and principles. It is enlightening to hear that and it is truly disgusting that that is what is going on. I worked for the NHS for 35 years and also a Drug and Alcohol NHS team and to see and smell someone dying from alcoholism I will never forget and alcohol is a poison and you are neurologically interruped when you drink because your body is being posioned. The body leaks fluid when you die from alcoholism as the organs fail and you turn yellow from jaundice before that stage etc etc - not a good look.
I can honestly say that in all my 67 years on planet Earth, I’ve never once worked out on holiday…..🤣🤣🤣 I so admire your dedication to working out! I’m so sorry the weather did not fully cooperate. All the ladies were stunning on this trip…just a bevy of beauties. Another fun and entertaining vlog….
