- DON'T LET YOUR KID DO THIS AT HAULOVER! | Boats vs Haulover Inlet
Lots of boat action this weekend with some rough waves. If you're gonna let your kids ride the bow through Haulover, you should at least put a life jacket on them. Haulover is very dangerous and things can go south when you least expect it. Be smart...

You taking the Freeman 42LR or the Midnight Express? Let us know...! 😎
Freeman
The Midnight express is a cool boat
Any boath in the video will be enough for my circumstances 😉 The fifth largest lake in Sweden, where I today boating with a 4 meter old wooden rowing boat with 4 hp outboard 😂🤣
Do you have any footage for Saturady the 6th around 12?
Midnight express is overal better in my opinion
I love how the Cat Hulls make Haulover non existent. 😂
The Cat just slices through every wave.
@@finster444k like butter!
Maybe coming in slamming headed out
@@Mark-nu5vg did you not watch that video? Or any other? Lol
If you’re ever in a place where you go on a fishing trip or whale watching or scuba diving on the ocean and there is an charter option for a Cat - take it. You are going to have a much better day.
What makes Wavy Boats the Best is NO Commentary....just the Ocean, boats and other normal noise...No Capt. Obvious....and that's refreshing...Thank you...
Broncos guru is going to have a fit with some of these boats on the next Boats vs Haulover
You know it... Thanks for supporting all of us man! 🍻
7:14 oh look..... big waves.... let's put all the weight up front.....
Just give it some gas and get the bow up. Probably trying to get the girls wet.
@@teaeff8898 Sure ... decided to wash those sweaty girls to make air cleaner.
That mystery boat was a Sundance Skiff F17. I personally own one and love it. Mine has a lot more power, I’m running a 90 Yamaha but still would be rather skeptical about trying Haulover.
"why turn around now"? He just noticed the Coastguard sticker that says 'This 15 foot boat is suitable for 5 persons' 😃
LOL. That was pretty scary. I think the 'freeboard' is wayyyyy too short on that boat! How did the waves NOT crash over the sides?
@@endokrin7897 because they are going very slow, and the boat is small enough to traverse the wave frequency without digging. Quite a calm moment out there for them... Wouldn't have been so lucky on another day.
He probably just realised he forgot his spare facemask... 🙄
I am always amazed at the number of Children i see in these Houlover videos not wearing Lifejackets. blows my mind!!
Different laws by state, in NYS they have to wear jackets.
Me too, what is the law in Florida? Where I am from I think it's unitl 14 yrs.
Mark L - under 12 in NYS
The Skipper should require life vests/jackets to be worn by all aboard in any condition where sea/weather conditions are or will become rough, particularly important in smaller craft. Generally, I, wife and kids always wore life vests/jackets before we left the dock and only removed them once tied up safely at our destination dock. We had some rough water, but not as rough as that Inlet! We never ventured out in more than 15 knot winds. Even if you have a life vest/jacket right next to you something could suddenly pitch you into the water without it! Most drownings are when suddenly pitched into water w/o life vests, many are head first! In cold water, guess your involuntary response? Inhale! Be safe, not dead sorry!
Not just children - every person on every boat under 40 feet in these videos is a total dumbass for not wearing a PFD.
Mystery boat at 3:20 is known as a Dell Quay Dory in the UK. It’s probably something completely different in the USA. Regardless it was overloaded for those conditions.
Looks like a Polar Skiff
Ahhh I get it why it's called wavy boats. It's because all the boats wave at him 🤣 😎 👋🤚
This has got to be the first video I've seen people from different boats waving and being friendly.
Do you mean waving at each other or the camera? I could see why people on the boats would throw up a wave or whatever because they are in the moment, but why are some of them giving us these 15-second-long, big, goofy waves? Yes, we see you. Yes, you're on a boat. Yes, your butt is hanging out. Yes, we like it. Stop waving.
In such a rabbit hole watching these videos I’m starting to recognize the same boats now
Same
I hear you brother 😂
Yahama 210 FSH with twin jet drives. Great video as always!
I love the people tha wave at the camera without knowing why is there and what coming to them lol 😆
That Robalo trimmed up knows what he's doing.
The style boat of that Freeman I noticed never has a problem ripping thru there.
I award you the best charismatic stylish video man 2021
Those midnight expresses gotta be my favorite.
Definitely.
They're part of the CBP Office of Air and Marine fleet.
The beach scenes are great!
That dude in the Scout got rocked!
I used to be out there on the wave runner having a blast about 25 years ago!
Damn that 42 Freeman is incredible. Great start to the vid!
Love that 42! 👍
This channel makes my mouth water.
I loved how you identified the boats in this vid... I've seen about 20 vids of yours from Haulover, and this was the first time I've seen you do that...
Great job!! ✌😎
Hey Rex, thanks for tuning in! We identify the boats in all of our videos. You may have watched a different channel. There are some that don't identify.
@@WavyBoats Oops... Pardon me. It's really great how you identify the boats!
I'm now subbed, and I'm ready to enjoy the shit out of your channel.
I've watched a heap of vids from Haulover just now..in fact, I can't stop 🤪
Keep up the great work!
Remember the movie 'Faceoff' with Travolta and Cage? The boat chase scene with the Scarabs. 👍
Epic scene.... 👍
Yep, and at 0:46 we have a "FacePlant" 😂
Allways Love your vid's 😘 Regards Tom
I love the boats with the watergates ;-)
5:23 Is how you safely enter and exit an inlet. Just saying.
Good driving and moms in thongs in front of their kids? Lol
Technically, didn’t they ALL enter and exit safely? Lol
@@PauliG All successfully yeah, not all safely though.
With a much smaller boat, one could ride the wave. Takes longer, but is as safe as it can be.
That lil trihull was overloaded
7:10 That was FUNNY!! Whooo Hooo!!
Yo wavy boats great channel ✌️
Thanks Lorenzo! Appreciate the kind words and your viewership. 🙏
That freeman 42 😍
Man, that Freeman 42 LR really handles beautifully!
2:30 guy turns away just in time to not get caught checking out the taillights.
Scarab looks great
1st mystery boat sundance skiff
The mystery boat #1 is called "Ship of fools" (or tiny boat of dummies)
Great video.
9:11 😂😂 that chicks driving and waving like it ain't no thing, not like the canopy is falling off or nothin'
0:34 7 boys 1 girl....a very busy cruise day for the poor girl!
0:46 The first guy start going down on her..
lmfao i always try to get on with my family in a silver 43 azuimut but i guess we don't do crazy enough things lmfao we always wave on the weekends lol ! Love the vids btw !!
Russ lmfao Fr fr
Nossa que lugar lindo é esse meu caro, as pessoas adoram barco aí, será Miami??
7:19 Second time that Yamaha boat has been shown taking water over the bow in rough water. Clearly not a boat for open water.
Good eye Ann, we agree. 👍
Not the captain either by the looks of it.
That skippers boat mechanic took one look at the motor that drives his bilge pump and said"Daanng ! Is that a Hemi" ?
Not sure why anyone ever thought low gunnel boats were a good idea I see them all the time now low bow low gunnels just standing no chance against the waves even on newer offshore boats a lot are designed that way just seems dumb to me
Ann Teve seven people in an 18 ft boat in what would be heavy chop for this boat is just plain dumb. Add to that a lot of weight in the bow is really lacking in intelligence. I’m sure one could write a better recipient for stuffing a bow , but these idiots did a great job by themselves. Be nice if the coast guard or local authorities would set up check points.
Those freeman’s ride so nice it appears.
I like the twins on the yamaha 👌👍
3:40 Love the captains CHIN DIAPER...LOL. COME ON MAN !!
What is the proper or recommend way to navigate through that madness?
what? right of passage. ha. some pass and some don't! way it goes! you'll never stop this.
What’s the benefit to that freeman hull shape compared to standard boats?
Mystery boat #1 19' Carolina Skiff.
Was thinking the same thing. Maybe a Boston Whaler though?
Jeff Latimer not a BW transom is wrong. Lip for the rub rail also sticks out too far.
Its a Sundance skiff
@@JeffLatimer definitely not a Whaler.
Its a POS
I love boats so much do u have any footage of Mastercrafts?
0:44 onwards the hit the ground 🤣🤣🤸♀️
Props to the Robalo Captain at about the 1:10 mark. That’s how you bring her in with a following sea....
Not really. If you need to get there quick maybe. But slowing and riding the backside of the wave in front of you is the correct and comfortable way to traverse following seas.
@ 2:47 - Mystery Boat is a Carolina Skiff. Had one of these years ago.
Yeah looks like a whaler but not quite
@@markdj57 - The Boston Whaler 13' design has inspired many. The Carolina Skiff trademark is the low split front bow rails, such as in this video.
Those Yamahas (blue and black hull) are 210 FSH models. Light boats so if you put 4 people on the bow they're going to ride nose heavy... And it's already a small boat for this pass.
The last boat plowing through!
Zodiacs are light but tough.
The freeman eats the waves like nothing. Bet that’s a fun ride.
mystery boat turns around...
...prob a good idea in this case. small boat for conditions. if not confident or comfortable with conditions, try another day/location. too many of these vids show otherwise, and its luck that more ppl/boats aren’t damaged/hurt! good job captain!
I thought the same thing. The captain maybe thought, if it is ANY rougher on the way back I'll be in trouble. It takes strength of character to cancel everyone's good time on a borderline feeling.
Serves him right for bringing his bird along on a lads trip 0:35
Mystery boat black top that turned around is a carolina skiff
When I was young, 11 or 12 I had a small 12 foot aluminum boat with a 9.8 mercury and I did a lot of stupid stuff and lived to tell about it. I would never give my kids that kind of freedom I had but I am thankful I did. Kind of a double standard I know. I love the water.
Little Honda 50, "I think we're going to need a bigger boat."
Thumbnail got me and ya captains in REAL need of some training
Guy with the robalo did a good job I think.
2:27 min..best shot!
The boat referred to in the title is great..... Some of the occupants are wearing Facemask (good)..... but none seem to be wearing life-jackets..... even the kid on the bow..... astounding!
Good? Why good? How on earth can a little paper towel on your face help you in rough seas?
@@AndreiTupolev Do you really think you can't pass Covid on when you're at sea?????? Let me give you a clue, the Covid Virus doesn't give a F*** where you are!
What a hoot!
Captain should always wear a life jacket, everyone should.
It looks like a mercury optimax on that skiff and he was getting the 3 alarm beeps. So he must have low oil or the sensor is bad.
More zoom please and I don't mean the engines. 😉
Do they not have Trim Buttons in Florida?
That contender centre console that had blue sides had twin Yamaha 225
Never been this early whats up Wavy Boats?
Me 2
Whats up Dangle?! Second comment man, I wanna see you be the first! lol 🍻
Those Freemans look like they can handle some rough water.
First mystery boat looks like a boston whaler montauk
not a whaler
This is what I turn to when I get bored
That little overload boat looks like a Boston whaler Montauk or dauntless? Like a 179
👍👍good . in Chuí Rgs Brasil.
1:20 - pity Scarab use a font that the a and b look the same!!
At 1:40 the girl goes "its wavy!" 🤣🤣
0:46 dude just double tapped the sole with his face 🤣
Mystery boat = Bathtub!
It seems getting out is harder than getting in. So what's the correct technique and speed for getting out? I suppose that depends on boat size and type. Anyway, those small boats seem more suited to calm lakes than this inlet.
Mystery boat #2 21ft Century
2:45 Heading out HI in an overloaded 16ft whaler? Sure. What could go wrong? WTF are people thinking...
Not a Whaler. I'll take my BW out of the inlet with no worries, that was a Wahoo or some other wannabe. Whalers are amazing hulls, even better if someone that knows what they're doing is behind the wheel. Too many things wrong going on in that boat to count.
@ Can you please list some? I'm trying to get clued up on boating.
@@pfhrmb List what, BWs or the things wrong with the guy in the boat?
@ wrong with their boating
@@pfhrmb No PFDs on, overloaded, putting the boat broadside in cresting waves, and he basically has no idea what he's doing. Take a safe boaters course, at minimum.
Looks like Giligan got of the island at 6:42 mark. LoL
Some of these smaller boats have too many folks along for the ride
3:20 that a jbl party box 300??
Also have a cigarette boat as well, 39. All inboard like it is🤙🏼🤙🏼
Thinking mystery boat #1 is either an older carolina skiff or sundance skiff. #2 looks like an old cobia
9:10 Dude out in full dress slacks and collared shirt....in a 12 dingy..
honestly I respect it
@3:32 Because dude on the bow had to peepee. 😂😂😂
- Hey kid it looks pretty rough why don't you go weigh the bow down for us, make getting out that much harder would ya sport?
It amazes me the number of boats with children and no life jackets. Every boat related drowning I have ever been to had life jackets on the vessel. They don’t help much when they are stowed away.
In seems that all the mono hull designs now have the tip of the bow sloping downward so the boat spears the waves instead of riding over them.
It looks cool but reduces the hull to a fair weather boat.
What equipment are you shooting with?
BRASILLLLLL🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷
I remember when first started looking at boats... Those Yamahas looked enticing but don't appear to be seaworthy at all!
Just curious....what’s with going so fast through that rough surf?
Try Oregon Inlet, North Carolina. Makes this look like child's play. 😆 🤣 😂
Mystery boat looks like a Carolina Skiff.
