    # 42 sick guitar! That's awesome that you guys put locking tuners on all your guitars. I also agree with what you're saying here. I hope to see more of these floating around!

Nice guitar! I only kinda, sorta, agree with you on this.
Depending on the style of guitar (especially cheaper ones) a locking tuner can be a night and day difference. As you said with perception of tuning stability, it definitely helps but if you wind a non locking tuner (I like to put on enough winds that the string is down near the nut and washer before it climbs up to the guitar nut) its not a huge change. If you are lazy and only do two or three wraps on your Strat, a locking tuner can be a game changer.
I have an Import locking tuner ($40 on Amazon with a 19:1 ratio) that I actually prefer over Grover minis I have in a Partscaster Strat I have. Also with locking tuners it brings to the forefront how well the brand of strings you buy is made. My last few breaks have been at the ball end.
If you want a guitar to stay in tune, buy an Evertune and have it installed. If you really have an issue with tuning guitars perhaps a keyboard may be more of your deal than a guitar?🤔

That last paragraph is the real talk here. We split hairs with guitar gear way too much. My whole philosophy is if it doesn't noticeably move then needle. . forget about it and worry about the music instead.

Tuning issues really just comes with the territory of any stringed instrument.🤔
