Hi Andrew, I like the Drift. It's very stable, even in choppy conditions and also great to have rod holders built-in. But honestly, I would not recommend this SUP without a motor. It does not paddle and track very good in windy conditions and it's a struggle without the motor. It's also very wide and hence much slower. If you don't want to get a motor, you'd be better off with an Aqua Marina Fusion or something similar in my opinion. I used my Fusion for many years without a motor and it's definitely much easier to paddle and just as much fun for fishing. Also a lot cheaper.
When were you there? We were there 2 months ago and were plauged by small snapper. Did have birds working of the beach every day. Definitely a lot of drones fishing of the beach.
I love your style of fishing videos, you do it in a very informative way and a nice change from most of the other fishing channels

Got my first big snapper at Tauranga bay in a kayak, just by the reef. Also caught plenty off the rocks to the right. Awesome spot👍
