Thanks mate, magic spot that one. Didn't get all the underwater footage I wanted because the GoPro was pointing in the wrong direction most of the time, LOL. Still trying to figure out how to mount it properly so it sees what I see. I saw kingies, snapper, stingrays, moray eels and none of them were filmed properly. O well, maybe next time.
Hey cheers, yeah rock and surf fishing can be good. Seen a few nice fish landed from shore. No legal size Paua in this area and to find crays you'd have to go out a bit further I'd say.

Unfortunately not. Most DOC camps on the North Island don't allow dogs anymore.
