I would love some brand names to buy and feed.
I cook for my dog, but i want a safe food to be on hand in case of emergency.... I live in earthquake country & I have health and mobility issues... getting to the grocery store and cooking isn't possible sometimes.
I just want to keep her well fed, and not send her to an early grave.
What would you feed if you were in my shoes?????

You guys are the best. I have learned more from you over the years that any other place, great advice and Info,,, Im sure dogs everywhere thank you. I will not feed canned food, it is just to tricky to find one that is actually good for my dog,,, there is so many other options out there to choose from I can not be bothered trying to figure out what canned food would be okay. just like kibble - most of it is not good and they attempt to advertise - seduce people into buying it, if you tell me a canned product is great,, I might try it. Another big problem is many people have dogs but few people can afford to feed them correctly - a big dog takes a lot of meat etc. and it might cost 10 dollars a day to feed them a healthy diet - its really sad, but then again there are many people who have children who can not afford them also - its a crazy world.

I know that preparing food dor our dog or feeding raw is a healthy way to go. We are travelers and we have a tiny fridge, no constant meat source, etc. What food or a way if feeding our aussie you would suggest?
If a dog food like rocketo who uses organic veggies and organic free range meat ingredients but air drys at 50*C is this ok ? Gonna maybe mix this with raw dog food company naturaw over here in the UK ..
I feel so bad for people that think they are doing fine purchasing a big bag of kibble (garbage) and feeding some poor dog just that - I feed very little kibble but when I do I feed Karna 4 which is the best I can find - and I soak it in bone broth first because dry food is terrible to feed a dog - I feed raw meat, from two good stores, one in barrie and one in North Bay On where I live - vegetables, fruit, and much more - studied this for 5 years freeze dried from Australia as well.
Thanks for sharing your knowledge. I have always fed my pets species appropriate balanced homemade food. Just out of curiosity, why is semi moist food worse than dry extruded food?
Google said they use more salt and fat, idk if that’s true but yeah

I am so disappointed to watch this video. I have been trying to feed my dogs the best food I could afford. Now after watching this video I am questioning everything I thought I knew!?!!!??!! How about presenting a video of a homemade diet for our dogs. I am willing to make my own food for them but there are so many different recipes out there and I don't know which is the best one that gives my dogs the complete nutrition they need.
