Do you remember what herb you started your journey with? Or if you haven't started yet, which will be your first?

Yes! Amla was the first and still a staple in my DIY oils!

Fenugreek would be my first because aloe vera and Amala powder are very rare to find and quite expensive where I reside. I love ayurvedic but limited because the resources are limited 😭😭.

This video is great! It has me wondering, how many herbs and essential oils can you put in a diy oil or tea spray? Is there a limit so ingredients don’t clash?

Depends on the ayurverdic powders or what you're trying to achieve eg thicknesses /strength =amla + fenugreek or amla + cassia, growth/moisture = ziziphus +amla +Aloe Vera powder +fenugreek +hibiscus etc
You can combine a tablespoon of each and alternate each wash day to see which best suits your hair 👍🏽

Do you think before dying your hair with henna should you use any ready to use mask to start off your healthy hair journey or it doesn’t matter which you start off first?

Hi I still don't know where to start. I have some thinning and extreme dry Indian hair. I have amla powder. Never used it. I tried fresh aloe and it was a bit drying and sticky. Could this be how I used it? Also desperately need to dye my hair soon. The stress I know isn't helping matters. Please would you dedicate a video on hair growth, shedding etc? 😇🙏💛🥴

So today I’m doing a fenugreek, alma, braumi, brindgraj infused with my herb infused oil. I’m adding yogurt to this but I’m wondering if I should let the herbs sit for a few hours first? ( please excuse the misspelling of the herbs)

I'm planning colouring my hair with chemical dye and I wanted to know if my ayurvedic herbs will interfere with the dye the same way that henna does. I do a gloss that contains amla, zizyphus, fenugreek and moringa every fortnight. I've only heard of henna making it difficult to use chemical dye but I was wondering if it's the only ayurvedic herb like this or if other herbs are the same. I can't find any information on this online. Any insights would be appreciated 🙏🏽.

those glosses you do sound amazing! have you noticed a difference in your hair since using them?
but to answer your question I think henna is the only herb that would interfere with chemical dye. but I would say to be on the safe side don’t use Zizyphus before your dye because I think it can “build “ on the hair just without a colour change of course. Someone can correct me if i’m wrong.

Don’t do chemical dye you’ll regret it

@@josiehamalengwa4526 Thanks for the information on zizyphus 🙏🏽. The gloss is indeed amazing. My hair feels stronger and I’ve noticed that it has gotten a little thicker. I have fine and thin hair and I was shocked by the thickness after a couple of months. It’s not much but it’s noticeable. I’m not sure if it’s the density or strand thickness that has changed.
And the fenugreek makes the gloss a great detangler. The tangles melt right through my fingers.
