U were right. I loved this vid and recipe. I definitely will order the bars. I love your products. I always feel like I’m doing something great with my hair and body!! 🤗
I have only tried the sweet honey bar, and I got so much moisture and slip when doing my hair. I really want to try all the bars but a little does go a long way when using these. I just break it up into little pieces to conserve the rest of the bar. I did notice when you break the sweet honey bar there is this yummy yellow nectar inside the bar. It just looks so good and when using that part of the bar my fingers just glided through my curls with ease, and I was trying this when I had my hair in box braids for 3 months. I hope in the future there will be trial size bars so I can try them all 🤞.
After learning what you teach for at least 8 months, I did a length check. Before using your herbs, my hair was just above my bra strap. Now, 8 months later and minus the shrinkage, my hair is just above the small of my back. Mad growth. So pleased.
Henna herbs and oils keep my hair in my late 50s long , strong and shiny. Every time I get lazy and dye my roots with a chemical or use solely not so natural products for a time I have huge setbacks. Curly proverbs, Hennasooq , Green beauty and NowIm Nappy taught me a lot. Of course the ladies from India as well. I didn’t grow up with Ayurvedic but I latched on quickly.
I love your shampoo bars! I tried the Soapnut and Cocoveda and really liked both so I ordered some of the Henna and Argan bars as well! Friendly tip to those who arent familiar using or with the idea of using a shampoo bar: I found using the shampoo in its bar form can be sort of difficult if you're new to it. I like to cut the bar into 12 little 1 inch cubes (cut bar 4×3). You can then take a cube and cut it into smaller chunks and pour over about half a cup of warmed distilled water (not exceeding 120°F). Dissolve the pieces into the water with a whisk. This works really really well and is a little closer the the consistency of a liquid shampoo. I would only prepare this a few hours ahead of time of use. Its a good way to portion how much you use at a time! Khadija, Thanks for the recipe and the video!! I so look forward to these!! Sending much love
Thanks for this tip. The only other shampoo bars I’ve ever tried were VOR I. Using them was kind of a pain. This will help. I wasn’t really a huge fan after a while of the bars, but I love Hannah. I really want to try these.
@@nicolerenee7025 I too exclusively used Viori bars prior to finding HennaSook (2 weeks ago) and I now see a huge difference. Viori would strip the henna out of my hair and I have 2 friends who use henna that told me Viori did the same to them and stripped the henna so at least I know it’s not just me. Also, I don’t know if it’s something in their ingredients but I noticed my roots started to get lighter in the year and a half I was using their bars so I switched to regular shampoo. After using the honey bar and loving it, I’m now going to try some of the other ones 😊 I’m so happy I found the perfect replacement 💖
I just placed ANOTHER order....got some shampoo, co-wash, & Rose Water. I sprayed it in my daughter’s hair to refresh her twists and smelled good ALL WEEK LONG! Love you
I love this woman she is amazing, I am really in love with Ayurvedic hair products since my childhood now I am a mother of 2 girls and a boy. My goal is to grow my kids hair.
Another great video. I have been using your products consistently for 4 weeks, even making infused oils, and the best quality, materials, staright forward products. I love everything I have used thus far, and more products to try that I ordered. And have those bars too!❤️❤️❤️ So much product, so little time😍😍😍
If we have low porosity, protein sensitive hair, how often would you recommend doing Ayurvedic masks? For example I’m really loving mixing fenugreek and hibiscus, and I just ordered cassia powder from your site. I’ve been using the fenugreek and hibiscus every week for the past few weeks
Love the cocoveida shampoo bar. I started using a few of the products since the beginning of September I've noticed less shedding and premature greys. Sitting under dryer with a masque right now.:) Great products
Thank you for talking about the shampoo bars. I have the first 4, purchased last yr because I was suppose to do 5 months worth of world travel & then COVID. They were sitting in my travel hair care bag. I guess I will start using them now.
Can I apply this mask as a replacement for shampoo after applying oils to my hair and scalp? Or will the oils interfere with the cleansing of the mask?
The lye does not “evaporate out”. The lye does not mix the oil and water together. The lye bonds with the oils and changes into soap, which is chemically a salt. The water is the medium that allows this process to happen. For someone who makes these “in house” you should know this. Also a well formulated handmade soap produces a lot of luscious and creamy lather.
You were right. I loved this video and recipe. I’ll have to try the bars. I love your products. I always feel like I’m doing something great for my hair and body!! 🤗
I did see any measurements of the other herbs. You only mentioned the 100 grams of the Cassia and the Aloe Vera powders. Can you give me the measurements of the Shikakai and hte Rhassoul Clay please? I can't wait for my order to come.
Hi :) This looks amazing and I'm keen to try making this while I wait for my order to get to NZ...but the recipe amounts weren't in the notes like it was mentioned they would be. Very keen to try this out if anyone has a moment. Thank you :)
Do these have rice water in them at all? Are they heavy on proteins? My hair is very pro Tien sensitive. It will do well to a certain degree, but then I’ll start to get breakage. Also, do you have a conditioner? So far? I’m looking forward to our consultation together! I’m really enjoying these videos.
When I order more of you products I will get the Mad Moisture and CocoVada shampoo bars. I also want to try the CocoVada deep conditioning mask as well. I'm
Hello...I have a question. Do clays expire? I do not see how they can. I cannot wait to get back to trying my clays. We had to move...and I still had to work during COVID...I am in the nursing field.
Who uses all the recipes that you make on your channel? I just hope that all these ingredients aren’t going to waste just for the sake of making a new video for us.
Hello! I've missed you guys. I've been trying to make videos but it's been really busy the last few weeks and it's gonna get a little crazy again soon too!! :) Next Saturday, September 26th we'll be VIP for our anniversary party and live on UA-cam. Can't wait!
What does your hair prefer? Shampoo bars, Ayurvedic herbs or Clays for your wash day?

My hair likes clay and Ayurvedic herbs
I love the honey shampoo bar and the cocoveda is on my wishlist!

That’s what I’m talking about! I’m brand new to the wonderful world of herbs! I love this! My goal is to grow my hair to my knees.

My Mom was from the south and she used to make soap bars with lye and wash my hair with it, and my hair would be so wavy and soft and pretty.

This is great. I’ve been wondering if I can mix the clays and herbs together. Love the video. Congratulations on 15yrs

I did a ayurvedic treatment using your powders last Friday with great results
Yes!!!! Awesome :)
Can I apply this mask as a replacement for shampoo after applying oils to my hair and scalp? Or will the oils interfere with the cleansing of the mask?
Do you need to shampoo the mask out or just rinse it? Thanks for the new recipe!
The herbs and the clays are supposed to cleanse and detoxify your hair so a shampoo should not really be necessary

how would you use this on locs? do you shampoo after rinsing this mix out? @hennasooq
def need to get me one of these once I run out of my current shampoo!
I love all of your products!

Hey is henna cleansing as well? If I only leave it on the scalp for a little while?
Yes, it can be too

Can we use any of these as body soap? Or is it just shampoo?
This is specifically just for hair. We have body soaps here: hennasooq.com/search?q=body+bar
Do you ever use a carrier oil?
sometimes. Depends on the recipe. Are you using carrier oils for like a prepoo? We do have hair oils here: hennasooq.com/collections/hair-oils
When I order more of you products I will get the Mad Moisture and CocoVada shampoo bars. I also want to try the CocoVada deep conditioning mask as well.

Hello. During the live anniversary party the DJ said I was a winner but didn't say what to do. What do I do?
السلام عليكم
Shikakai is THE natural soap nut.....it bubbles naturally!
Anyone know why she used « rhassoul clay »? What’s the purpose of this ingredient?
Who uses all the recipes that you make on your channel? I just hope that all these ingredients aren’t going to waste just for the sake of making a new video for us.
