Lexiav is playing Heroes of Might and Magic III with the HotA (Horn of the Abyss) expansion and the community-built HD Mod (not to be mistaken for the HD version on Steam): www.hota.acidc....
He uses the online lobby for multiplayer games.

He played this well, especially the first 5 weeks and the finalka prep:
He invested in city halls
He flagged and build Gorgon's, not just wyverns.
He collected stats, but made sure to have AA, elixir, spellcasting and permanence ready.
He made sure to rally his army multiple times, and even revisit his fortress dwellings.
He even collected rallying flag and swan pond before finalka, which is rare for Lexiu.
He realised sacrifice could be crucial.
He actually equipped permanence for once!
Viewing this without the pressure of playing, I wouldn't have changed anything besides having researched Protection from air, and equipped water book instead of air.
Angelic Alliance is always vulnerable to Berserk, but with Titanu and sacrifice, that is somewhat surviveable.
Really well played overall, despite week 7+ being less effective than the first 5ish weeks
Lexiav should create Shorts of those moments like the chat is saying somehow he cheated vs Dargem
Also... the "-1 temporary" is some kind of new bug. I have *NO* idea how it became introduced, but it's obvious that someone accidentally messed up a flag on something with the latest HOTA + Factory updates. :) I've also noticed that on my machine, some armies do not properly appear on the map. Their SHADOWS are there, animating... but not the actual creature image. This is REALLY rare, but I've seen it. Probably from older save games.
Huge props to the entire "Factory" team. I've no idea how they accomplished something so far-reaching. :)
That diplo logic is solid.. that being said you spent the gold on flies,lizards etc.. If good diplo options are available then you can just stack a really strong powerstack and not go for much of the other army, that is the biggest advantage of diplo. So yeah on average you are right Lexiav.. but you know how "on average" goes.. 😂

Seeing all of Lexi's H3 playthroughs makes me want to send him a copy of at least one of the books in my series ("Diamond Dragons")! :) My hexalogy has many, many subtle shout-outs and homages to JVC's "Might & Magic", "Heroes of Might & Magic" (NWC), and so forth. In fact, at least four characters in the series have similar names to some H3 heroes/villains (by design).

Yes though I’m not sure the reset reason whether new year or new faction update
There was a reset after the Factory town was introduced, as it changes the meta. Also, it spices things up on the ladder, as there has not been a reset in a long while👍
