Hello Ibbyhead, another great video, great content, and full of incredible information! I request a video on the Super 58 Pickups. Jazz box in a pickup!
I have two blood red and two black MTM1's, and the paint is perfect, the surface is perfect, I was very surprised to see wood joints to be visible. Frets on red models are always worse than on black ones. But super cool guitar overall. It worth its money
This fits my narrative about Korean guitars. The quality you get is a bit more random. You can get very well done guitars, and a bit worse. But if you find a good one, they're great bang for the buck. 4 MTM1s is quite a collection! :D
I kinda see them as "too nice for Ibanez" - given the Ibanez genesis as "cheaper import alternative". In this way, I feel like mid-tier Korean/Indonesian guitar are much better representation of that spirit. But Fujigen guitars, especially modern, are amazing.
Oh wow, that paint job does look particularly bad, wonder how that happened there, other than that, I always liked the colours these came in and the bridge was always kind of interesting
From my limited experience with painting, I feel it didn't dry in proper conditions. It's a very deep colour, so really have to look against the light to see it, but I don't think it would pass quality check at Fujigen for example.
I see Ibanez-head, I like, I subscribe! Nice to see your channel, keep enlighting us with some more Ibanez stuff! Cheers!
Thanks a lot!

It's been a while I wanted to dig into semi-acoustics and I think Super 58 definitely would be part of that story. Thank you for the suggestion!

I really only like the Fuji-gen or J Custom Ibanez guitars. To me all the others don't even feel like a Ibanez to me.
