i just did mine yeaterday. great help with this. replaced all 6 with led bulbs. the 3 big ones ez to do. took me 30 mins to do. they light up n no problem. the other 3 small ones took me a while to do, with the wires n holes so small n not lighting up when i plug it n rotating it to make it work. that 3 small bulbs took 2-3 hrs to do. 3 other things u need especially for them 3 small bulbs-really small hands, 20/20 vision n magnifying glass. bottom line- them 3 small bulbs pain the butt.
I've been needing side firing t3 neo wedge but can't find any. I've broken the glue from a t3 base so I can bend the led I'm the direction that I need it. I can get side firing 74 led bulbs but they won't fit in the hole. Now you've giving me an idea on how to get them through the hole. Remove the 74 led from it's base and feed the wire through from the otherside and wire it through a t3 base on the other side. Thanks!
I’m wish that the outer ring that you rotate to select settings would have a light on the little “mark” that you set it to - it’s impossible see which settings you’re trying to achieve when it’s dark in the cabin due to that little mark not being illuminated - if there’s a way to light those up - I’d do it in a heart beat 🫤
Can you replace the yellow lights as well when you push the AC buttons? Also can you do the same thing to the shifter light and hazard light? I'm going have to replace mine but wanted to do them all in one shot.
So I was going for more of a traditional light source, so i used these www.superbrightleds.com/search/led-products/74-wwhp3+warm+white/ warm white led's in my instrument cluster, very easy to do, thanks for the idea on the pliers to remove the old bulbs! However, like the led you chose, mine don't fit in the small white a/c light hole either. I am thinking of modding the leds i have to fit by soldering wires on each side and running them through the tube of the larger grey lights. Is there nothing on the market that would fit the 2 styles of bulbs? Also, do your LED's have any built in resistors once you take the casing off?
Strong work. I’m ordering bulbs today. My Element has 387,000 miles... so far.
That is a lot of miles! Do you plan on taking it to 500k and beyond?
Nate Roezilla - you know it! I’m pretty sure it’s immortal so it should happen eventually.
Wow, original drive train?
It helps to know others are frustrated with Amazon. I never order from them anymore.
I'm betting a pair of grippy tweezers would really help this along 🤔

Well explained. I liked it very much. Thank you.

Does the 3 "Red" Knobs lights?
Mine only shown like yours 12:12. The three outside knobs "Red" are not lit.

Will this work on a Honda CR-V 2005?
You’re a genius. Brilliant!
What LED did you use exactly?
Can you replace the yellow lights as well when you push the AC buttons? Also can you do the same thing to the shifter light and hazard light? I'm going have to replace mine but wanted to do them all in one shot.
Very helpful man, thank you 👍🏼
Same LED can be used on 2005 CR-V?
Thank you!
Thank you for watching
what about the little yellow lights that signal that the AC is on? do those turn blue?
No, I did not replace those lights, so they are still yellow.
genius! Thanks!

I'm trying this on Saturday. This is the only tutorial I've watched so wish me luck lmao
