I’m so glad I found this channel 🥹❤️ my ex always judged me for just wanting to watch romcoms from 90s/00s but it all makes sense now - it’s the cozy interiors that made me feel so.. cozy! Can you do Big Momma’s house next? Thank you Tomas!
Welcome to the channel!!! Don't let anyone judge you or make you feel bad for enjoying the things you like! Glad you found this video and that you enjoyed it! We all love romcoms here!
This was so enjoyable to watch. Huge fan of Nancy Meyers and this movie. Like most, I fell in love with the house and the choices the set designers made. You di a wonderful job in going through the rooms. It all instantly brought back such good memories. Really enjoyed it, well done!

Thank you so much! I’m so glad you’re enjoying the series! 😊 Can't wait to share the next one...🎄
Of course my brain knew the scenes were shot on a set but my heart believes that this house exists and was your destination as you picked up rocks while walking on the sand...I guess that just underscores the skill of the set designers!
Right??? It’s incredible!!
When I saw this movies I fell in love with the house especially the windows. Needing new windows I had my windows replaced with similar windows with grids -years later love them still.
Love this! The look is timeless and I'm sure looks beautiful in your home!!
Another great episode for this series! I love this film and that house has been one of my favorites since I was a kid
Thank you so much!! I'm right there with you!!
I absolutely Love this series of Interior Design in Film. Something’s Gotta Give have been one of my favorite movies since I was a kid. The intro was spectacular and really encapsulates the relationship in this movie. The rocks have so much meaning and I love that you incorporated it in this video. Thank you for all the tips on how to incorporate the Nancy Meyer’s style in our own homes. I am looking forward to the next episode of this series. ❤
Thank you so much Ashley!!! I’m so glad you enjoyed it! And thank you for helping me film the intro!! ♥️♥️

A dream!!
Omg! Again one of my favorite videos! This is my true dream house and your description is perfect! Keep these coming. I enjoy them so much!
Wow, thank you so much!! I really appreciate it. And I AGREE, what a dream home!
I have watched many videos and read interviews and articles about Nancy Meyers and her films. This living room, and the living room in It's Complicated, both used pops of color in orange. Used sparingly, just enough to catch the eye. Also the bed in the master bedroom of both movies have it centered in between two windows, using natural color bedding. In the master suite in It's Complicated, she used an orange throw across the foot of the bed. And the dresser in the guest room where Harry sleeps is arranged very similar to the dresser in the master suite of It's Complicated. The dressers themselves look similar, with the mirror placed above it in same positions. I think Nancy Meyer is a genius and all of these simple details that do not seem to bring attention to themselves are actually what make the whole set a warm and believable space that can be duplicated if you want to break it down and take the time to recreate the look for yourself. I love love everything about this Beach House. It is a character in the film, like all her sets are.
I could not agree more! I love noticing all these little details and catching new ones with every rewatch. Thank you for sharing!!
Obsessed with Nancy Meyers film sets!! Thanks again for the video Tomas….you always do a beautiful job with your research and presentation. ❤️ from 🇨🇦.
Thank you so much! I’m glad you enjoyed it! ❤️ Love her designs. Cheers to Canada!
Maybe a bit has already been covered, yet the two houses in the 2006 film, The Holiday, is a good option for the contrast of the Los Angeles sleek modern property with the Surrey English (Rose) Cottage with it's fabricated cozy nook of a space - both are isolated within to show how the characters have closed themselves in upon their own worlds of denial.
Agree!
I completely agree! It's fascinating how both homes reflect the characters' emotional states, what they’ve been through and what they need once they swap. The Holiday is one of my all time favorite films, and a video on these homes might be coming sooner than you think!!!….😉
Beautiful!
Thank you for watching!
Excelente trabajo 🙌🏻
Muchas gracias!!!
love the house..years ago the movie came with the DVD on the interiors FAB
YES!!! I collect the DVDs of her films so I have to go and look at all the bonus features ASAP!

Thank you Laura! ❤️
Hello. This is one of my FAVORITE MOVIES!!! My sister sent me the link (cause she knows I LOVE this movie).
I have 1 Question: Do you know the name of or where I can find the water tea pot Diane used while taking the call from someone, and the doctor took the opportunity to write her a not asking for her to join him for dinner.
PLEASE SHARE!
Thank You.
Hello! First off, thank you to your sister for sharing!! Welcome to the channel!
The tea pot used in that scene is an All-Clad Stainless Steel Tea Kettle. (Love it) Hope this helps!!!
Haha, the OTK. The one true kitchen. It was much covered in the early 2000s. So copied to the point of parody, yet still seems up to date now.
100%! It is a classic for a reason!! A timeless look.
