One time I was front row and it was so loose he wound up just hanging out of that thing like a third leg 🙈

Garry "Diaperman" Shider on lead vocals!

Awesome is just the Word that i Can Say 🔥🔥🔥🤘🤘🤘 p-funk till death, peace France 🤟🤟🤟
Gary rocking pre-dated sweat pants season. 👀👀👀👀 They're killing it. It also like Fuzzy's version. He had that James Brown funk with a little of the Little Richard "woos" that he does so well.
Nobody did it like Fuzzy!
Damn these boys are live live.
Great horn work! I am re inspired!!
Pure wildness!!!! The mighty Parliment Funkadelic one of a kind.
P.funk at it's best

In a hundred years they will play this in spaceships. Tilt. Full circle.
P funk for life
Bernie in da house!
5:50 -- there you have it: David Byrne "lifted" some of his material.
Well I be damn!...
🤘🏼
is that what I think it is at 13:50?
Yep, definitely a drum solo.
it is. a pretty big one.
Nothing is shocking when it comes to funking
I'd say, yes, yes it is. Pause at 10:12 for another look!
looks like Larry Fratangelo on skins
Crowd “Burning down the house” led to the talking heads hit
That Uncut .. p
No woman in my household is permitted to watch this with Garry strutting his stuff around like that; walking around the stage like there is a rodent trying to get comfortable in his diaper! 🤦♂️🤣🤷♀️
Glorious footage of a great band, sadly decimated in a horrific plane crash three years later. The sun-drenched audience displays much warmth, gratitude and positivity to those on stage - unlike the narcissistic, cellphone-obsessed buffoons at Glastonbury year-on-year (honestly, what is the point of paying inflated prices for a ticket, then watching - as the performance is recorded - through a tiny screen? If I was a musician on stage, I’d consider this behaviour uncouth and ill-mannered).

Damn them brides fine as all outdoors...
Awesome quality footage. Where did you get this?
This is from the in house video feed at the Capitol Theater in Passaic NJ, November 6th, 1978.
pretty sure he invented the blast beat (usually used in death, and black metal) at 16:00 haha
When you see the diaper that means you are born in the funk and the wedding dress mean you are.married to the funk
The sound quality is too tight!!
Who is the singer with the beret on and shades and a white sash or whatever on his waist?
George Clinton
That's Ron "Prophet" Ford, with the beret and white sash. Of course George has on a beret too, but he has a white belt and blonde wig.
I thought Fuzzy was the lead
White dude in the front must have been trippin some kind of hard
Chewing Gum Too on a Trip !
lol, what is he looking at?
oh my god,George 's got a panty,ahahhaha!
Hahahahahaha lol damit thhose pant 😁🤣😅
The Man sure can conduct the band audiance, the whole show.
