My locking plate doesnt fit properly... it falls to the bottom of the screw... I'm also missing the base plate that your s has... This has to be two different models, despite the same model number.

Great video - two questions for the grommet mount option: 1) can the L-shaped bolt from beneath the work surface be replaced by a standard straight bolt? and 2) If so, how high would the grommet plate and bolt be below the mounting surface? I want to mount on an adjustable work surface and have very minimal clearance below the mounting surface for the grommet mount hardware.

yeah, just gotta use a drill bit to make the hole bigger for the disassembled part of the amazon mic stand to go through it, i used a knife and just kept spinning until it shaved off enough for it to fit.

I have a few questions. Why is there a size limit for the monitors for the single monitor stands? wouldn't the size limit only apply to a dual monitor stand as it needs to be able to have them side by side?
I am thinking about getting one of the single monitor version for a 34 inch ultra wide which does fall within the weight capacity, do you think it would work? I don't see why it wouldn't.
Having some issues putting the monitor on the stands , how did u adjust the screws with the bolt ?
You hold/hug the monitor with one hand/arm and line up the bolt on the back and then use the Allen wrench to tighten it down... then finesse to match it up with the other monitor and make small adjustments. Or get someone else to help you to make it even easier!

The instructions I got with my package looked nothing like yours. My instructions were so bad at explaining which screw to use and the process that I was supposed to go through. Kinda... it can work that way for the most part but its probably going to stick out 14" or so over your desk/table if that makes sense... so if you have a deep desk table I think it would do what you want but if you have a tiny desk/table it would not be ideal. I hope that kinda helps??? ha

You should be carefull though, that the vesa mounts are in the same position on both monitors, because they'll be on differents heights if the mounts are in different positions on the monitors, as you can't adjust the height of the monitors individually.

when i place my 2 monitors, the stand slant or lean forward.. that just because my 2 monitors msi 27 inch and its kinda heavy. fews days after, that table top(wooden LINNMON IKEA) snaps on the clamp slowly and slowly until the two monitors collapsed. . now i bought the same thing again. how do you not slant stand when placing 2 monitors?? should i adjust the level of the two arms into the middle??? right now i have mounted 2 screws behind and knotted them with zip ties so i doesnt lean forward. but they still lean forward even the clamp are already tight. . any suggestions. plss thanks

Just check the monitors you listed specs and see what VESA pattern they have... should be very easy to find on Amazon etc! I had a crazy idea ... What if: 1 - I secure a 2x4 batten to the wall 20 cm above my desk, 2 - turn the desk clamp and the poll 180 degrees and attach it to the 2x4, 3 - follow the rest of the assembly as shown on the video ... I could even shorten the pole with a hacksaw. That would mean the monitors will seam like floating above the table with pole being invisible to an eye? Its cheap enough to modify.

Yes it will work with any desk style like you see in the product page/picture. Keep in mind that if your desk is lightweight it may shake/move some due to the weight of your monitors!
@@DigitalDavid this is terrible advice, dual monitors weighing down on one small area of a particle board is a guaranteed break. Most ikea tabletops are made out of particle board and would need some type of reinforcement with either wood or metal so that the weight distributes to more surface area

I have looked quite a bit and I cannot find a camera shoe mount that is attached at the end of a pole anywhere.
The pole will stand vertically and
at the top of the pole is a standard industry camera shoe mount to mount a 35 mm camera at the top of that pole.

Is your desk an IKEA linmon? I’m thinking of getting this mount with an IKEA linmon to hold my 2 viewsonic monitors.
Yes it is! Now since that desk is very cheap you will probably deal with some shake due to the monitors weigh and being suspended adobe the desk. Best to get a very sturdy heavy table if that would be of issue to you. Since I use mine in my studio for recording I didn't need anything nicer so it works perfect for my setup!

How far can you tilt the monitor? They have two numbers. One says you could tilt it a 90 degrees. I want to use it as a graphics tablet stand and need an arm that lets me tilt the monitor as much as possible... nice vid
