I echo everyone’s comments here about the setup. I used it yesterday to set mine up and I appreciate you walking me through this, step by step. I’m normally terrible with this stuff and get someone else to do it for me but I was able to do it myself. I found screwing the monitors to the stand the hardest part but used my little step ladder to hold it while I screwed if in. Thanks again!
Thank you for your video! I just bought this monitor mount and when I opened the box and perused the instructions I thought, "This looks way too complicated. I should return it." And then I found your video. It filled in the gaps where the instructions weren't clear. I'm all set up and it's working great!
Finally! someone shows the complete process in setting it up. my friend gave me his because he was getting a new one (it still works perfectly) and i had no idea how to set it up since it didn't have instructions. thanks
Perfect unboxing, but you don't need to hold the monitor up to the bracket to mount the screws. You can set the monitor on the table and put the screws into the top two holes. Then you lift the monitor and set it down into the cut outs. Then you place the bottom screws. But very in depth review, thank you
Thank you. I found this video AFTER I put mine together. And now I have to exchange it because the left arm will not adjust properly..won’t stay down even after turning the screw. It may be damaged according to their tech support rep. 😂 at your comment about people being careful not to get hit in the neck with the arm…I had that same thought of why the company had to put that in the book… it must’ve happened to someone(s) before. It made me super careful when I took the straps off…and I cut them off 🤦🏾♀️ not realizing I could just slide them off until I saw your video and I didn’t have a second person helping as recommended in the instructions.
I like how simple, thorough, and on point your video is. It's quite long though, but I appreciate how the angles, audio and video qualities are clear. Great video
Thank you for the comment Kael. Sometimes it's a struggle to figure out exactly how much to show or what information to represent. Thank you so much for watching and the comment, I appreciate the support.
Why isnt the arm that holds the monitor staying where i want it? I turn counter clockwise to add tension and it pops straigh back up to default position
If you put the top screws, part way in, on the back of the monitors first, then you can slide the plate under the screws to hold it until you can tighten them and add the bottom screws.
Man… you were thorough! Thank you for showing it all, telling me rather it’s Phillips/flat. Awesome video. Side note I found an adjustment on the knuckle holding the monitor!! It was extremely tight for me adjusting the orientation of the monitor.
It's great that people are creating videos like these, because those videos the companies create themselves are completely useless when you want to see how the monitor arm actually functions.
This video was very helpful! I didn't know monitors already came with the holes to screw the attachments in. I was panicking and thought I would have to do that?
Thank you for this video! I just bought the arm yesterday, just waiting for it to arrive. The video was especially helpful because my tabletop is the glass tresanti desk.
Thank you so much for this video, I've had this dual-mount for quite a while now but was never completly happy with it because I just couldn't get 2 different monitors aligned the way I wanted to. After watching your video I finally found my mistake. I thought of the adjustment of the arms was like a bolt/screw (put the arm in the position you want and then tighten the screw so it stays there), it never occured to me to think of them like increasing/decreasing hydraulic pressure.
Thanks for the great video! I appreciate your calm voice and demeanor, which has put me in a calm state of mind as I embark on installing my dual mount...LOL! If I can offer any advice to other viewers, make sure you don't mount your cable management tray too close to the edge of the desk, so there is room for the two clamps. I had to move one of my cable trays before installing my mount.
So glad I could help. Would love to hear all about it once you get it all st up. Good luck with everything. Thank you for watching and leaving a comment. I've been out for a bit dealing with a little medical issue but I'm back on the grind. Please subscribe to the channel like and share the video you find interesting. Hi, thanks for the video.... On time in 14:19, can you please tell me what is the height of the Mount/Clamp from the top of base part to the bottom Clamp part?
Came here to see where the the black spacers go..any help..seen he said between the display and the metal but I'm not seeing it upon further observation 🤦🏾♂️..I'm getting old..thanks in advance for assistance.. 🙏
Thank you very much! I just got my dual arms and noticed some differences from your video. Firstly, the arms, lower & upper were not attached so no tension... trying to figure that out. Also, my monitors have a protrusion when the base is removed. When I attempt to hang the monitor, the plate cannot connect at the bottom. These are sceptre monitors. Any guidance will be greatly appreciated.. thank you
Great instructions. I have the tresenti (watch your review b4 purchased a few years ago) and now i have the monitor desk arm. Now im looking for a new monitor and can't find your monitor review. Please help!😊
Thank so much for the kind words, watching and leaving a comment. Perhaps you could do a little favor for me. Please subscribe to the channel, like this video and others you find useful and interesting. Thanks again for the kind words, watching and the comment. Good luck with the mount!!!
Thanks for this....i came to see about vertical adjustment and you helped me out greatly. I have the wall mount version but this was just what i needed and i was happy to see I was already subbed. Have a good one brother!
I truly appreciate you watching and taking the time to leave a comment. Thank you so much. Perhaps you could do a little a little something to help me out. Please subscribe to the channel, like this video and others you find useful and interesting. Thank again for watching and the kind words.
My left monitor is very shaky to the touch. I could be typing and the monitor is moving like crazy. I've been playing around with the tension, but can't seem to get it right. The right monitor is perfect.
The problem with all these dual monitor setups is you can't put 27" monitors against the the wall and immediately next to each other. Any solutions out there?
perfect apart from you install the two top screws with washers before offering the monitor up, then hang it it while you install the bottom screws. makes the single person install much easier
Was confused why it was velcro’d down. Decided to cut it. I sweat to you it missed my eye by less than a half inch. I got so lucky. Happened like 5 mins ago. Watching a guide before I make more mistakes lmao.
When I saw it there was no way I wasn't talking about that. Thank you so much for watching and the comment. Maybe I can provide some more laughs and information, please subscribe to the channel. I have more reviews, DIY, how to's, cool motivation and laughs. Thanks again for watching and the comment.
My desk has a square metal bar similar to yours, however it’s an inch in from the perimeter of the desk. My clamp actually sits and tights to this metal bar fine, however the circle pad on the clamp is wider than the bar so that maybe a quarter inch extends past the bar on either side. I’ve tightened it as much as I could with the metal bar directly in the middle of the circle pad of the clamp. Is this okay ?
Not sure what to do but I installed everything. Mounted the monitor and granted it’s a heavier monitor (14.1 lb) but it’s under the 14.3 capacity per arm that it advertises, yet when I hang my monitor the tilt just won’t keep it straight. The base arms support the weight of it but the tilt just falls straight down. How do I adjust the tilt tension? Because looking in the sides It appears to have Allen wrench space but it’s not. Feel like I just wasted all my time and money
This sucks for me because I have the same desk and doing minor adjustments is my pet peeve. I just purchased the same exact monitor stand from Amazon and see I’ll need to return it. Why don’t these companies make a product that works out of the box?
Really, really great video. Thanks. I'm frustrated with the arms though because at the height I need, my choices are having the monitors either really far apart or right in my face. My desk is a bit narrow for this product. Not your fault. Still an excellent video.
Can this work with 2 different height monitors? It seems like it has up and down adjustment but one monitor would end up at a different angle if the height adjustment was different since the arms originate from the same point. Having the left monitor rotated in the video highlights this issue because putting them side by side in that orientation would put one arm more forward towards the seating position. I think 2 independent arms are what I would need for that scenario

I got the dual one and the arm feels locked in place and i can't move it around in the arm, I tried reducing the gas spring but nothing, still feels locked in
I hate when I'm just trying to find a tutorial/review and find someone incredibly wholesome instead. Thank you kind sir
Just finished setting it up. Thanks for showing the full process. Was nice to just put it together at your pace. Works good so far.

Still finding this video to be the best one if anyone is wondering! Thank you for this!! ❤
THANK YOU!!!! The instructions that came with this were worthless. Your video saved the day!
I have a similar table. An personally I just scooted the stand back a bit an lined the clamps up on the middle of the bar. Works fine for me
One of the most useful and informative videos. Thank you Daneal!
