    Anker 675 also seems like a solid contender. It's priced in between the Hexxcal and the Aothia. It'd be interesting to hear what you think about it.

    I’m getting 2 of the same type of monitors (one vertical and one horizontal) with a matching dual monitor arm but I’m going to DIY build a nice wooden white wrapped desk riser with two shelves, bottom one to put keyboard and mouse when I’m not using them, other shelf to store useful notepads and desk accessories, then the top for sculptures and display

    why needs a monitor stand if you use monitor arms? it's basically more like a shelf to put your keyboard/random stuff under instead of actually useful for your monitor, should have review it with your monitor on it so we can see how stable each of them are, also the $900 one with the top panel would be useless when you need to put your monitor on it

  • @Sophie-kp7ks
    @Sophie-kp7ks 5 місяців тому +8

    Did anybody catch the utter stupidity of this $900 desk stand that you need a stand with???. A stand you can't have your monitor or tv not even decor on... if you want to access their open from the top storage which is unbelievably small for all that really heavy body (always wanted to park a car on my desk😂). $900 for a heavy box, with with wireless charging & what not even a Hub, lets not forget unnecessary flashing buttons & LED light 😶😆😂 $900. Buying this TODAY❤ 😂😂😂

      No. There's nothing that I've found that has AC ports and a cable management section (the two best features of the hexcal studio). There's no alternative so hexcal can get away with the inflated pricetag unfortunately. I don't even know if they go on sale smh!

    Hexcal is ugly a bulky. Grovemade is overpriced but aesthetics are there. A shelf for $150 is just flat out stupid. The first 2 are cheap looking and the 3rd is decent but still looks cheap. Balolo is decent still expensive but less than the overpriced grovemade. Ugmonk is just a waste of money. Even if I had all the money in the world I’d probably choose Grovemade because of the aesthetics but screw that.

    Im surprised Vaydeer dual monitor stand XL isn’t on the list. I bought Vaydeer and its amazing…4x 3.0 USBs wireless charging (15w) and its full metal. Similar WxHxD as Hexcal and 1/9 of a cost.
    Only problem with these stands are…they dont fit my 49” monitor. 🥹 but it still nice.

  • @kbar11
    @kbar11 Рік тому +5

    Would love to see this with monitor arms. Especially two monitor set ups. There are way too many choices and they all seem like there's an issue with something. Either can't get both monitors straight or too much wobble or bad mounting

    • @Ahnestly
      @Ahnestly  Рік тому +3

      I think it would really depend on the height of the monitors and how close you want them forward. As long as the monitors are higher up, and you don't need the monitors like right in your face, the monitor stands shouldn't interfere? I have it so that my monitor arm raises the monitor up enough so it's floating over the monitor stand

    are there any monitor stands that have a cut-out for the pole used in a monitor arm that you recommend?

    • @leryeo
      @leryeo Рік тому

      I find monitor stands ugly when used with monitor arms unless they have a dedicated cut-out

    • @Ahnestly
      @Ahnestly  Рік тому

      IMHO that makes it too limiting. You can only have it in one position on a desk (where the pole is). With no cut out, you can shift it left or right. But I understand where you're coming from and not sure I've seen anything like that!
