NHL Stanley Cup Playoffs 2019: Blues vs. Sharks| Game 5 Extended Highlights | NBC Sports / nbcsports - Спорт
The hockey gods just got even for the Blues after that RIDICULOUS non-call of a hand pass in game 4.
That was game 3
The Sharks were done as soon as Tarasenko’s penalty shot hit the net. That was the knife through the heart.
I didn't believe it when I heard people talking about this but these NBC broadcasters sounded TRULY SAD when the Sharks were getting stomped. sorry the Blues disappointed you guys!
it's because of the "Blues curse"- like the Cubs, they're expected to choke, and lose in the playoffs, so winning means they've got figure out how to explain it.
They sure didn't give Jones any sympathy.
Kenny Jaworski If the Blues go on to the finals, it’s only going to get worse if the Blues are beating the B’s with Milbury’s affiliation. I would love to hear that suffering, we can only hope!
@@stiebelrrico well the Blues are Stanley Cup champions now lol
Michael Terrell Who knew, that I would actually enjoy watching Ratchand cry at the end of game 7 SO much more than crushing Milbury. Lol.
Can we please get Darren Pang and John Kelly back? Your announcers are so bloody biased. I mean how many times in the third period do we have to hear “I wonder what would have happened if Kane hadn’t hit the post 10 seconds in?” 10 maybe 15 times?
I mean I'll give them once...MAYBE twice mentioning it, because it's a valid point. But yeah you're right
yeah what's up with this? why do they CLEARLY want the Sharks to win?
Same deal during the Bruins/Carolina Whalers series -- it was all 'Carolina this, Carolina that'. I realized I could watch a stream on the Internet out of Canada and had the best non-biased commentators since 'Hall of Famer' Fred Cusick in Boston!
I am totally with u its annoying
They were the same way in the blues previous 2 rounds. We spent all game long hearing about how amazing Winnipeg and then Dallas is. It was really bad against Dallas. They’re young defensemen are so incredible smh. Well let’s hope they’re just as incredible at golf lol.
The fan behind the net at 7:51 had all he could take
Looking back on it, I think this is the game that destroyed the Sharks for potentially many years to come.
You have to be happy for bozak playing with this team and at this stage for a proper coach and with guy who don’t give up.
Best 4th line in the NHL by far
game 6 in st louis should be interesting
if they win here, that arena is going to be deafening! I can only imagine how much fans inside are going to blow the roof off it! That place has never hosted a Stanley Cup Finals game, and it's got a chance to potentially host 3 of them!
Game Recap:
1st Period:
5:50: Oskar Sundqvist (1-0 Blues)
2nd Period:
3:05: Jaden Schwartz (2-0 Blues)
6:53: Vladimir Tarasenko (PS) (3-0 Blues)
3rd Period:
2:19: Jaden Schwartz (FOT) (4-0 Blues)
16:02: Jaden Schwartz (5-0 Blues)
LET'S GO BLUES!
"No thats not a 4th line"
If Kane would have scored 10 seconds in, the Blues would have won 5-1.
I doubt it turns out the same, because it's different strategies playing 1-1 than it is playing 1-0 or 2-0.
0:26 "SCHRING CHANCES"
One like = One prayer for the camera
I hope the B’s are taking notes.
Taking "notes"...I see what you did there!
4:42 You know you're a bad announcer when you get owned on-air by Mike Milbury
Please win the Next game St Louis! Let's get to Lord Stanley's Cup!
Finish the job boys, I watched you lose the Conference Finals in 7 in 1986, lose in 5 in 2002, and lose in 6 in 2016. This is the first time you're on the doorstep in 23 years, time to bring the Keil, Savvis, Scottrade, Enterprise Center (identity crisis much?) its first ever Stanley Cup Finals!
*2001, *33 years
HotDog Lover hehehehehehehhe
I am happy to see that Ryan O'Reilly finished his stint in Oswald prison and went on to a successful career in professional hockey.
I just finished watching oz. You think they name him after that character? That would be a good question to ask his parents. I guess better then ceriel....lgb!
Guess it's harder when the refs are fare
Schwizzle Schwartz!
We fought hard. Every single win, overcoming and DESTROYING after the hand pass and then going against one of the toughest teams in the NHL with one of the best series in the Stanley cup finals. STOP SOUNDING SO BIASED NBC. Your announcers sound so sad that a St. Louis team won!
No heart Sharks
Final Score: Blues 5, Losers 0. The Sharks cheated in Game 3. I would never support a team that cheats
I feel like boston is always playing against st. Louis for a championship
if they get there, hope STL actually wins the championship this time
Its happened like 4 times. 1970 stanley cup final, 2001 super bowl, 2004 World Series, 2013 world series
@@joepic85 i count this years superbowl as well. L.A./st. Louis rams. Thx for listing all of them
@@joepic85 Plus 2 more World Series, and 4 NBA championships
The B's will give St Louis "The Blues" !!!!!
Kevin L haha yeah that’s what they said about Winnipeg and Dallas too. Blues look like they’re borderline being outplayed in the first 2-3 games of all 3 rounds with binnington stealing a game here and there. Then by games 4-5 the blues look like they’re getting stronger and quicker while other teams look slower and worn down. It’s happened in every series. The blues play a simple repetitive yet smothering game. I think it would be a great series because the bruins seem a bit more durable the the sharks. I still think the blues are superior defensively. Goaltending seems even. Scoring depth seems even. But I think the bruins top line are more skilled. I think you and a lot of ppl would be pretty surprised as to how that series would turn out.
Kevin L ya mean the blues gave the B’s the blues
The Bruins are more skilled through and through than these teams in my option.
We will see about that. Boston had an easy run!
KS: Or your OPINION, for that matter.
@@GodWeenSatan I definitely wouldn't mind seeing the Bruins lose, but regardless of opponent, the Bruins' 7-game winning streak in the playoffs is impressive.
Yeah don’t be so sure. Blues are defensively superior than Boston. I think goaltending is pretty close. Scoring depth is close but I think the blues might have a slight edge considering they’re 3rd and 4th lines have been the most consistent. But I believe Boston is more skilled in they’re top line. It’s pretty similar to the matchups the blues have faced in all 3 previous rounds. Winnipeg was supposed to be way too big and quick. Dallas was supposed to be too quick and skilled with the best goaltending in the game. And San Jose was supposed to be big quick and more physical and better defensively. They all said the same things. Because the blues play a simple repetitive and predictable game it looks easily beatable until you’re in a 7 game series dealing with it getting outshot 26-1 in a single period by the 4th game. Because that’s what the blues do. In every series they look like they’re getting borderline outplayed in the first 3 games with binnington hopefully stealing a game. By game 4 the blues look faster and stronger and they’re opponents look slower and worn down. Next thing you know you have half your team in the locker room injured by game 5. But let me guess, the bruins are supernaturally immune and on a different level than all 3 of those teams? Right? Good luck buddy lol. See you soon! Right after your 11 game lay-off. Do you know how many teams have won the very next series after a sweep in the playoffs? Not one!
@@anthonyholmes3457 In spite of your wordiness, you don't really KNOW the teams you're talking about. Winnipeg is a big, hard-hitting team much like the Blues while Dallas is quicker and more defensive-minded and SJ is all about speed and offense, NOT defense or physical play.
BLUES FAN'S DON'T CELEBRATE YET TILL THE SERIES IS OVER..... THAT'S THE PROBLEM WITH THE ENTIRE SPORTS FANATICS , TOO MUCH SMOKE IN THE HEAD LOL....
J: Absolutely! OK to celebrate the win, just don't celebrate winning the SERIES yet!
As a Blues fan I hardly celebrate the wins, I have the same mentality as the players, onto the next.
@@daltoncampbell7579 If you don't celebrate the wins, you're missing the ride. I celebrate every win--as you'll notice the players do--try not to get too frustrated about the losses, and finally celebrate winning the series WHEN IT'S OVER.
@@SAHogan-ih3bo I celebrate the big moments in a win just as much as they do. Last night for example my energy was high and i was excited for obvious reasons lol im still there all the way to the end win or lose but its always a next game mentality cause living in the moment is what has cucked us for years.
@@daltoncampbell7579 Glad to hear it! I was in a pretty good mood, too--because we had finally won another tough SERIES!
BTW: NBC -- your biased play-by-play announcers (and some of the intermission talking heads) suck. Period.
Looking for the hit on hertl that blues fans are obviously quiet about
uh-oh. yeah it was a dirty hit. you're not one of the Sharks fans who actually tries to rationalize the missed call on the hand pass, are you?
Yea it was a beautiful thing ehhh?? Too bad it wasn't Thornton that got hit. I'll have to settle with hertl and Pavelski getting hit
@@josephhale9198 ah another classless st Louis fan. Disgusting.
@@dalisman im not a sharks fan. Just blues fans are really acting hypocritical at the moment
You mean the shoulder directly to the chest that Hertl tried to sell as a headshot? Watch the replay again without your Sharks blinders on. You nerds wouldn’t have made it past the 1st round without the refs
Bruins would whip both teams
D: But not at once!
Don't be so sure... you never know what could happen.
This aged well
Golf King I’m doing the same thing in quarantine
Yeah spoilers alert, they don't.
