Karlsson with a huge impact on this game. This is why SJ wanted him.
Are we going to forget the fact that Timo was tripped on that play?
Ryan David Seriously! I’m amazed that nobody has been bringing that up!
The Blues were jobbed on the hand pass. That's a hand job.
zebra3stripes lol
even IF they had reviewed it, they had been able to review it, the puck crossed the goal line thus despite what the Blues fans think, the WAS correct. it's sad when the team that loses pays the NHL off to lie claiming the goal shouldn't have counted. they are just making up the "hand pass" crap because they don't want to admit they lost fair and square.
The Refs missed that hand pass like the Blues missed that empty net 😂
Yea, it was hand pass. But let's not forget this miss 10:20.
Humoristix and the last minute goal. You can mad all you want at the refs, but the sharks are relentless and deserve their chances.
There's a difference between a missed shot on an open net and the referees failing to call a violation of the rules. Having said that, I don't think he actually ever touched the puck with his hand. He waved at it, but that was it.
I'd rather have the players decide the game
@VCR Time Machine
A missed shot that would have put an end to the game. As for referees, are you counting the penalties which weren’t called, including one major, or are you simply ignoring everything bit that specific play?
@Kyle Adams
Why would I be mad? I have money on the Sharks to win the series. Still hand pass, whether you like it or not.
Wow! I'm not rooting for either team, but an infraction that is directly involved in the scoring of a goal, especially a game winner, should be available for challenge. Hard to believe not one of the 4 on ice officials saw it. Quite blatant, IMO.
The NHL didn't even have the insides to publicly admit the error after the game. Not good.
have seen players move puck with hands even this years playoff no whistle still something league look at. both teams played awesome
It all evens out folks. Perron should not have been on the ice when he scored his goal; he should have been in the penalty box. Take away his goal for the missed call, and the game wouldn't have gone to overtime. Sharks would have won with no overtime. See how the hockey gods make things balance in the end? Take a laxative and trust the gods!
As a fan of SJS I don´t understand why the overtime goal been legalized as regular…
4 blind mice calling NHL games.
San Jose has so much heart. I respect that.
Go sharks 🦈
Lol
I was so pissed at this game but I think this game pissed the Blues off so much! May have been the best thing that happened to that team!
blues got some serious snipers. a lot of goals were really tough shots.
9:19 Blais gets away with a dirty elbow to Braun head....he should be suspended for at least a game..the refs standing right there watching doesn't call it...suuuuure the refs favor the Sharks.
t flo elbow?????? That was a clean check😂
Bhgd Jgf Check????
You have to be confused by the quality of the video
It’s more clear for an elbow than a CHECK
Gee Right before the hand pass how did Timo Meier even end up face down on the ice? Oh thats right he was blatantly tripped by Bowmeister’s reaching stick...why wasn’t that called!?
He blocked a shot and then was in the same position until Meier ran into him a split second later.
Brendan Heins Yes Bowmeister blocked the shot and then tripped Meier with his reaching stick as Meier attempted to skate around. That’s a textbook tripping call...
HIGH COUNTRY BITTERROOTS well why complain about that when you won. If you want be picky and call that a tripping then as soon as he makes the hand pass then the play should have been blown dead. And the blues would have at lest had a chance to win and not have the refs say gg we are out of here.
Brendan Heins I’m not being picky My point was that everyone is crying over a missed call yet I don’t hear anyone loosing any sleep over the multiple missed calls that the Sharks had to overcome. But instead of crying they just kept playing hockey and that’s why they won the game.
Brendan Heins and the hand pass is in no way why the Blues lost. First the failed to put the Sharks away in regulation and missed two empty netters and also iced the puck multiple times which allowed the Sharks to regroup and catch their breath before tying the game in the final minute. But they lost the game because somebody on the Blues lost track of All world defenseman Erik Karlsson. You can’t allow one of the best offensive D-men in hockey to activate and just skate untouched and unguarded through the backdoor of your defense and then just let him camp in front of the net. That is why the Blues lost. A inexcusable blown defensive assignment in OT
What is the song called on the first shot on goal someone plz answer
Major regret for the Blues at 10:21. Oops...
8:35 this is some good ol' fashioned hockey right here!
If it were a hand pass why did it bounce so high?
why can't there be replay in OT? it should be WHEN u have replay!
Hey JR - How Does Laila feel about the officiating?
She’ll be fine she’s cancer free she’ll live
@Fei Long - It was not a good goal! - You choke every night
What is with officiating and the sharks huh? Thats crazy omg
Tim Yen I know right like it’s crazy how they just let the delay of game penalty slide & just pretend that Justin braun got hit in the head I know right so dang crazy their really on the sharks side mmmhhm I wonder why
💁🏼♂️ITS CALLED A HAND PASS
delay of game?
John Hand Pass?
@@T0mat0_S0up I'm just pointing out the other huge miss call that directly resulted in a goal for the Blues but everyone wants to ignore that so they can complain. The way I see it is the Sharks got one back and then it's even.
Assuming they don’t choke, The B’s will have their hand full with either of these two teams.
Was there, it was a great, exciting game, last goal sloppy playing or perhaps handball. Why no review? The Blues will be ready to go again Friday night.
Well aren't you special
That play is not reviewable much like the non call on the delay of game penalty. Both need to be cause it’s getting ridiculous how bad the refs have been
not talking about myself, talking about the great game of hockey.
Go sharks the better team won glad the hockey gods gave the win to the better team much needed
Rye Man Wha...what? 😂
I still haven't seen an angle of the replay that shows he touched it with his hand. It looked like he waved at it, but never actually touched it.
Same. People just jumping on that hand movement rather than really looking at it
NBC: sharks score..
also NBC: THE BLUES SCOREEEEEEEE!!!!!!
No other way around
@@baileymcclure5115 did you not watch the game? they were super heavy pulling for the blues
On god bruh
Nbc did that because we were down and that would be a great come back story but nbc was literally talking every minute about joe thorton
Refs are a disgrace. That play MUST be reviewable. It's illegal any other time. Why was it OK this time?
not a hand pass..good no call by the refs...the player can bat a puck down and it can wind up going to his own player so long as the refs deem he wasn't intentionally trying to bat it to them..its not even clear whether or not Meier actually batted the puck..looked like he may have missed it..plus Bouwmeester kicked it distinctly afterward nullifying it if it was an attempted hand pass...
bottom line is the Sharks scored with a minute left to force the OT to put themselves in position to catch a break.
Except for the fact that the NHL said it was a hand pass today.
@@jimmelay71 They were just saying that to appease Blues fans. He never touched it. And I'm not a fan of either of these teams so it makes no difference to me.
Bad call ref, that's a chop
How do you miss that hand pass though? Blown call. Refs suck. Never should have ended like this. Better fix your on-ice product, NHL.
It didn't even hit his hand. It looked as though it hit his forearm and then possibly the stick or the defender's leg after...
watch 12:29 @ x.25 speed - Puck hits his palm/wrist and doesn't touch anything else as the rotation of the puck doesn't change ( 12:20 ). not a fan of either team at all, just saying to me it looks like a blown call, the announcer was on point.
There is a better angle that if you watch in .25 speed you can see him try to do a hand pass but he misses the puck and it hits off his knee. If it was a successful hand pass the puck would have had much more momentum and would not have bounced in the way it did.
Nice try, he haphazardly slapped it. It absolutely touched his hand and nothing else until teammate gathered it up. It was another blown call by the refs to give the SJ a win. If this keeps up there will conspiracy theories following.
How many icing blues has when empty net of sharks to shoot at, Even one goal the game is over, but they keep given sharks the chance to tie the game, bad mistakes.
If it wasn’t for this blown call the blues would’ve won the cup.
they did win the cup, what are you talking about?
@@tbewin1z143sarcasm! Proof that great teams overcome bad calls.
@@bluesdemitra38 add an /s, because that wasn't apparent at all
Laila Anderson is a bad luck charm.
Some great hockey in this series. Also some terrible goalie play.
Been saying that about M Jones all year..
This Game 3 Will Be Remember As "The Hand Pass Game"!
I’ll remember the game as the refs missing calls left & right headshots got missed delay of game call got missed the list goes on
@@ryeman7202 LOSERS!!!!!! BLUES!!! 🏆
Wow. Blatant hand pass. Novice referee would called that pass for 7 year olds. Two NHL refs, in OT miss this pass. Bettman, NHL fixed playoffs. BS. Then on top of the tools available to referee. The NHL refuses to utilize. NHL Fixed....won’t watch NHL circus. Highlights all I need.
I think they let it play on because two officials made separate calls and upon review didn't have enough evidence to over turn it. I've watched it several times and there is no clear indicator it ever hit his glove. Some were trying to make the argument that one of the blues guys knocked it with his shin and it's not clear it hit his shin either
Always a shame when a ref controversy impacts the game like that. But that's why they play seven games. Sharks were screwed by the refs in game 2 against the knights, knights were screwed by the refs in game 7. Sharks won the rest 3-2. If the Blues are really the better team, today's result won't matter. But are they really the better team? Guess we'll find out. Can't wait.
And Karlsson should have owned it, when asked after the game about hand pass, he should told the truth. The call was made and at that point irreversible. Instead of denying ever seeing it he should have said yea it was a hand pass and the refs missed it. That happens and it is a long series. But instead he claimed he didn't see it while looking right at it as it happened. No class.
God dammit. I fucking hate the Sharks but I gotta tip my cap to them here. They came in clutch tonight. Oh well, go Blues!
ST LOUIS BLUES LOSE GAME 3 TO WESTERN CONFERENCE CHAMPION SJ SHARKS
ST LOUIS BLUES LOSE GAME 3 TO WESTERN CONFERENCE CHAMPION SJ SHARKS
@@anandguruji83 Did you just reply to your own comment. Dork.
1993 Kerry Fraser the Jerk referee fails to call a penalty on Gretzky who clearly high sticked Gilmour in OT. Minutes later Gretzky scores for the Kings against the Leafs and the Leafs get robbed of likely a slot in the SCF.
2019 The refs have favoured the Bruins in all 3 rounds. The Sharks should not even be here as Vegas was robbed when they called the 5 minute major. This hand pass I think trumps them all and hands the Sharks yet another win. This entire playoffs is tainted should either Boston or the Sharks win. if thats the final i will not be watching it. Could not care less
Who cares about hand pass, like on game 2 what about the high sticking that the blues did to one of the sharks players in front of the ref I call it karma
Remember the Ben Bishop play when he laid there agonizing and play was not stopped? Karma’s a b@tch, even in a more practical situation, the guy deflected the puck out of the air due to instinct, that’s playoff hockey for you.
Pretty stupid statement, honestly.
How is that karma Dallas didn't touch the puck so play continues. And they won the game 4-1.
And if that's Karma what's San Jose karma gonna be after they have been gifted a series against Vegas and a game tonight
Andrew Riordan Yeah right they were gifted a series win over Vegas because of one questionable call. How about that overturned goal that cost the sharks the game when Fluery flopped and drew a laughable goalie interference call? The Sharks refused to die even when they were down 3-1 in the series. That means they had to win 3 games in the face of elimination and Vegas couldn’t win one of those 3 games! Also getting a questionable 5 min game misconduct does not mean you have to give up 4 goals during that 5 minute penalty! That has only happened a few times in NHL history! For the love of god if your PK and goalie can’t hold a 3-0 lead with 10 minutes to play in the 3rd period then you don’t deserve to win the game, or the series..and Don’t blatantly cheap shot a player on a face off and that questionable call never happens...
Play wasn't stopped because blues had possession of the puck, if Dallas would have gotten the rebound the whistle would have been blown. Before speaking to rules of NHL hockey in the playoffs maybe you should try learning them first. Refs could not legally blow whistle yet. That happens in hockey literally all the time.
Blues got robbed
It might have been no hand pass as his stick touched the puck right after the hand had passed it....
@Betty Blue The blues still didn't get possession so it doesn't matter
It was a hand pass and a blown call by refs. I am mad as a blues fan but I'm thinking I would be both happy and a little ashamed if situation was on the other side. SJ has won two games because poor officiating. So did they actually earn it? Not in my eyes. We should be playing Avalanche or Knights, not SJ.
@@jacoblehnen3670 Blues are pathetically weak team that has no business playing in he final.... They have been lucky so far, but hey their lack has run out. BTW, I'm no fan of either, but Sharks are much stronger team hockey-wise...
H-A-N-D P-A-S-S

Remember that time the refs blew a call and caused the Sharks to win the game? O wait.. uhhh...
Brian Most remember when the blues had a chance to put the game away but missed the empty net? Uh oh yeah that’s right & then not to mention your captain icing the puck to give the sharks another chance to tie it up which they did ooh yeah that happened to gosh darn it

Billy Simon Switch the Blues and Sharks and now it’s more accurate 😁👍
Stay tuned for the butthurt comments by Blues fans. Your team choked just like Vegas choked.
Go Sharks!
Even if the Sharks win, they're gonna get buttfucked by the Bruins.
If this is what it takes for Sharks to win, then I guess so....since Sharks can't win without a blown call....As a hockey fan (not a Blues fan), this is disgrace!!!
I remember when the sharks lost in the finals a couple years ago to the penguins :) same can happen again if they make it to the finals and face Boston.
