Here's something. When Perron scored that goal, he was trying to pass it across the goal mouth to... guess who? Bozak. But Rask knocked it in himself. Imagine if Bozak had scored that goal after the missed tripping call... they would've torn the place down!

Blaming the blues for finishing a play is dumb. Bozak puts his stick down to play the puck and Acciari moves the puck. An accident? Yes. A penalty? Yes. But if the same situation was for the Bruins they would try to extend the play. Bruins also didn’t play to the whistle and gave up a weak goal. It’s a shame that this play will overshadow the gem by Binnington or the stout and clutch defense put on by the Blues. The series is definitely not over though and I won’t be surprised if the Bruins get a few more calls to make up for this next game because that’s how reffing works apparently.

Here - "57.1 Tripping - A player or goalkeeper shall not place the stick, knee, foot, arm, hand or elbow in such a manner that causes his opponent to trip or fall. Accidental trips which occur simultaneously with a completed play will not be penalized. Accidental trips occurring simultaneously with or after a stoppage of play will not be penalized. So obvious tats what happened bc nobody else other than New England wanted to see 5 power plays a game for Bruins bc if the refs called the last 2 games by what they are seeing then thats what they would have, 5 power plays atleasy, bc Blues dintbknow how to play any other way except heavy and dirty. Not a guaranteed call. Incidental contact. They were both going for the puck. It did result in the Boston playing getting tripped up. Doesn't matter Boston wouldn't have one the game scoring 1 goal. Not as bad as what happened to St Louis against San Jose where they hand passed and it resulted in a game winning goal. That happens along the way to any team that has ever won the cup. Its a seven game series one play or bad call never determines the final outcome.

Maybe you should go back and look at it again. The most hilarious flop in Stanley Cup history performed right there. Don't look at anything but his RIGHT FOOT on the replay. As he starts to go down he decides I need to make this look big so they call a penalty. He kicks his right foot out so hard it goes over his head as he is falling. LOL Nobody touched his right foot he did it all by himself and the ref saw it.

The obvious answer is because he really wasn't hurt and just wanted to get a penalty. of 59 goals. 4.92 goals per game (12-0 record) Bruins scored 3 or less goals in the other 12 games for total of 20 goals.1.66 goals per game. (3-9 record) YIKES!

@@DrunkenGuitarGuy The dude went to the ice HARD and because of how rotation works his head hit even faster than his body was going.
Regardless of what the doctors end up saying the dude got a concussion.

*_I didn't see a penalty.I saw Bozak fighting for a loose puck and #55 tripping over his stick as a result, but I did see Binnington's stick being pulled out of his hand without a call_*

Bruin fans think they're entitled to do things like that. Remember, rules don't apply to BAWLSTON teams, only other teams.

As a Blues fan, it definitely should have been a penalty, but this is the status quo. It's one that has screwed The Blues more than once these playoffs. Maybe some will say officiating played a role here and ,later, in the whole series, but this is how it has been since the beginning of this Stanley Cup run, and the deviation was penalizing the F*** out of The Blues in the first several games of the final.

The play where acciari got tripped it wasn’t a trip because both bozak and acciari had there legs spread out which means that that is a check, and even if bozak didn’t have his legs spread out it would of been acciari’s fault.

Yes. It was the guy with has back turned's fault. Brilliant. It says right there in the rule book 'Legs Spread? all good". Simpleton.

Why? It was a good no-call. He flopped so hard. His stick didn't touch his left leg and yet it went flying? Okay then. Not sure that's how physics works.
