Wow! That’s almost IDENTICAL to my own custom touch setup! Lol The page I’m trying to add now is to control a preset MIDI GUiTAR 2 chain I’m using with Reaktor in my ableton setup and use quite frequently. Not too much trouble yet just trying to make the right design choices of what’s most needed. Also would love to make a custom page for the best performance oriented fx in Gtr Rig included the stuff from Traktors 12 that are located in the guitar rig library and have my main live sound manipulation control board on the iPad. Also love Finger by Tim Exile but that seems to work best with a keyboard controller. I wish u could customize an icon, color and small label to help remember where you place effects on a large keyboard layout. It’s impossible to remember unless u really limit yourself which is why I love TouchOSC. I can label the effects and plugin specific controls so I don’t have to look at the computer much if ever live
Hi, there. I have just bought Touch OSC for iPad. I need it to work as an launchpad for my Ableton Live. I'm having a really hard time to configure properly it. For example: I want to create buttons to activate/deactivate the REC button of each track. I tried independent (push and toggle) buttons and also multi, but can't make them work properly. I need a button to arm a track. I crated a toggle button. I press the button and the track ir armed. Button light is on. I press the button to disarm the track, the button light os off. Ok. But if I need to arm a different track, (with the first track armed) the first button keeps the light on. So now I have 2 buttons with light on and only one track armed. It does not work as it should. Also, I tried Multi buttons but they didn't work as well. The only way I could do that was turning off the feedback. But without feedback I won't know which tack is armed. Can someone help me? Please.
Can you help me to set up the right properties for the faders ? I can do everything to connect it and the fader move but it moves straight from top to the bottom it doesn’t move slowly, Thanks and congratulations you are doing a great job

Hi, are you using Sunday Keys? There is a video tutorial on how to connect everything over on the video resource page included in your download. It takes a few steps to get TouchOSC connected.
Question: During live performance, do you even look at your Laptop anymore? Or just at the Touch OSC Display? Because if the Touch OSC really is sufficient for everything one wants to do and see during live performance, then a Laptop with a touch-screen, running a TouchOSC Window above Ableton would do the job, right? Not having to have 2 devices then (Laptop+Tablet/Phone). Thanks for an answer! :)
@@SundaySounds Oh wow, i just realized that Touch OSC isn't available for Windows. That's a pity. Do you maybe know an alternative "interface for ableton" for windows? Maybe i'll test TouchOSC via an android emulator, but those tend to be resource-killers and clunky. :/

Would this app work for FOH control over the mix? We use Ableton for backing tracks all in one live set, so there are a LOT of channels. We're shifting some of our resources around right now, and while we can't afford a new ipad just for this, I currently use a newer one that could move to the back. I'd be very interested especially if this can have a tab preset per song so it's limited to only the channels on the current song. It would be great if the drummer can still run the tracks bc of easier communication but the FOH can manage levels if anything needs to be tweaked in live time.
@@SundaySounds No, I’m not looking for a way to mix the FOH mixer remotely, I’m looking for a way for FOH to mix Ableton remotely because Ableton is onstage run by our drummer.
@@BenjaminCarlson90 Ah, okay - then yes you can certainly setup TouchOSC to do that. It functions like any other midi controller and can connect over wifi so you should then be able to walk around the room and adjust settings from an ipad/phone.
