As an Australian, I thought she missed the mark. Props for trying though.

Only thing that gave her away was saying "mom"
as a Londoner, that London accent was very good. little bit of advice, most people in London don't speak that posh, most of us will speak politely but we tend to not pronounce certain letters and speak in slang and use shortened versions of words a lot, but apart from that you would fit in quite well in Chelsea and Kensington.
Wrong, the east Londoners definitely do
@@user-mm6ub1mg1q the east end defo don't speak like that, maybe some do but most speak with a cockney accent.

The only unrealistic thing about the “southern” accent was she didn’t say “y’all”
Exactly what I was going to say
Not really I’ve talked to someone with a strong southern accent and he said y’all. But only once. So they don’t a lot.
as a southerner, i agree
@@chilledhill3970 actually just one wouldn’t be enough, My family is southern! Everytime I talk to my family members they say y’all a lot! Especially my cousins!
I have lived in the south for years, and it's mostly the people who were born and raised their whole lives in the south who say it on a daily basis. However a lot of the Gen Z and Gen Alpha's rarely say this

As a proud Canadian that sounds just like an American, I’m so happy that you distinguished between a few different dialects. I didn’t know you were Canadian and when I saw that you were going to do accents I thought, ‘Here we go, she’s going to do the stereotypical “Canadian” accent of which, no one I know or ever met in any province I’ve been to in Canada actually sounds like.’ But I was delighted that you presented a few different ones eh? Ya, we do say eh a lot. And we are overly polite. I think they are related as we make a statement then politely add the eh to make it a question that is up for debate or input. Polite eh?
Also as a Canadian, when we do put eh at the end, it does make it like a question but it is a quite polite way to say things. And very well put together.
As a Canadian I’m just happy😂
In Britain (London, South East) we often add "Yeah" on to the end of a sentence. So; "We'll go to that pub, yeah?" or "Don't kick that ball near my car, yeah." 😊
As a Canadian, I'm surprised she didn't throw an "oh, sorry!" in there.
As for the Newfie accent, years ago my cousin was dating a guy from Trinity Bay... I swear it took me 3 weeks til I understood what he was saying 😅
@@catbirdler Oh sorry I didn’t mention the oh sorry. lol Yes, I’ve said sorry to the door after bumping into it 🤷🏻♀️ It’s what we do. And the Newfie accent, oh man, it is sooo different and hard to understand. 😆

"They have 15 dialects" As an Irish woman can confirm ... And that's just here in Dublin! Seriously though lads why dose such a small island have more then the entire continent of North America? lol
Here in sligo she was pretty accurate
galway accent is more the smallest bit of american and a light irish accent
Here in Cork we also have like 15 dialects XD
and even from one side of a county to another it can be almost impossible to understand lol
True there's at least 2 per county.
Eg: North Dublin, South Dublin. Cork, West Cork. But there's much more in most counties
Serious answer,it's because of the different plantations and attempted extinction of the Irish language. We had a small handful of dialects for Irish, but as the country was taken over at different rates, they developed accents differently. Then add in the rural to urban shift and your left with a couple hundred different accents.
You did great! I saw my first Amy Walker video about 10 years ago, and she really nailed accents from anywhere on the planet, so I sometimes search on youtube for more of her videos, and I find good videos like yours! Not everyone can do accents spot on, or dead on. Accents are like celebrity impressions. Only some of society can do them where they sound great, and you did great!
Saw that in Spanish class once to drive home the point you can say the things but it can vary so greatly depending on the region it’s supposed to said in. I loved her accents and I picked up the Transatlantic accent as one I can imitate because of it.
