- Back in 1997 the boys from automaticwasher.org took a trip to the Aberdeen Appliance graveyard. This farm no longer exists, but what fun it was for us vintage washer collectors.
For more washing fun please see our website: www.automaticwasher.org
I wasn’t even born yet, would’ve been beyond a pleasure to be there.
I feel nostalgic for something I never experienced. Awesome vid Robert!
Me my brother and cousin would be in paradise if we found a place like this
I wish that place was still open
I would absolutely love to visit a place like this. Probably no where else like this there machines are so rare to find. Worth a lot.
This is a fantasy! I've had dreams of this sort of thing.
wow who collected all these… the real hero of all our collections are these great people who had the foresite to save these …i hope have have not junked this since this was made.
Oh my the farms owner is quite nice to look at
Just like a bunch of kids in a candy store! Wish I could have gone!
Just... wow!!
I am glad that this video was made because it is sad that this is all we have left of the machines that were on the farm out there
Also I am glad that members of our washer club were able to go out there and salvage some of the machines and some of the parts that were on there
great vid from the past! Gosh, I was only 9 years old when this vid was made!
I wish that I could have really, really been there with you guys. Thanks for the video I saw the entire movie...Much Thanks!!!!
there was a farm like this in old phoenix i went to 35 years ago and made this place look like a junk yard ..it was on base line rd and it had probable 5000 machines all lined up in uniform .. sadly they all looked white to me for i never dreamed i would some day be a collector…if i had started then i would have 3000 machines..
I loved watching this!
OMG Gas at $1.33 a gallon!!!! I remember those days! :-( even then at that price, people thought that was getting a bit high.
if I was there my jaw would've dropped. Too bad I was seven at the time.
Interesting place
Poor vintage appliances being thrown away
I want that kelvinator agitator
