Thank you. All the guides out there are HM and have too much info that I don't need to know yet to pull my raid through our first vet clear. All the extra HM mechs and explanations can be information overload and confusing to sort through for first timers. Those HM vids tell you what non HM doesn't have then leaves you to imagine what non HM is like. I don't want to imagine it, I want and need to actually see it to prepare to be a raid lead for it. It's great how you break down each role in detail even giving sweaty tryhard tips. I also appreciate and watched the condensed version of this guide. Please make more guides like this for the other trials. Thank you!
Thanks Coconut, I appreciate the support! I’m definitely working on it, but it’s hard for the older trials because they don’t get a lot of clicks, so I have to move them down the priority list. But that is the plan eventually.
Best explained video for this trial, actually had an argument with someone earlier about cleansing in the front pools. Glad to see I've been running things right
This is the most complete guide to date! Does the last boss’ 4 swipes one shot you? I had a heck of a time with them. What skill is the gold swirling effect I see on MT in the video when she does the swipes? We got the clear last night thanks to your video.
That’s awesome to hear!! So I say 4 and mean 5. Two of them are just close together. They will not one shot you, and it feels like have been nerfed a little, but ideally you want to either dodgeroll part of them (the second and third attacks come close together) or be spamming heals. If you eat all 5, even blocking, you have a good chance of dying. So not a “one shot” per se but it will kill you (or at least it used to). Hope that helps! Hit me up if you have more questions, I’m always happy to help.
Forgot to mention, you can also use immovable if you want to just block through those. And the gold swirl I believe is just indicating who she is heavy attacking but it could be a debuff that is happening at the same time.
Man, i love how you explained the mechanics. Great video. I gotta say that it bothered me, more than it should have ,the way you pronounced necromancer 🤣. But still, very awesome video my friend.
Haha which way is it? Because I’ve gotten this feedback before. Lol. I grew up reading about all this nerd stuff but never really talked to anyone about it so I just picked a way of pronouncing it. Main gauche, rapier, legerdemain, and probably some others would probably make you cringe as well. Lol
@@Nightharrow haha fair enough. I am 99% sure it is pronounced as " neck-ro-man-cer". Those other words though I think most people butcher anyway so you're good there.
Indeed I do, PC/NA. The discord link on the channel is for the guild actually, so come join us if you feel up for it, we would love to have you! And that applies even if you’re not pc/na.
@@Nightharrow Awesome! I will definitely do that. I havent been back to ESO too long so I am very behind in completing so much content. I main as a tank or healer usually. Thanks for the invitation! And I am on pc-na
just so you know i typed in vka guide and your video didnt show, maybe put vka guide in tags aswell? not watched this yet but thanks for all the guides you post, trying to get a trial team together and you helping alot bro.
Good content. Mechanics are key to a smooth run. What is the add on that shows individual dps damage? I thought that was not possible with this game. Only your percent of the group total dps?
Oooo, I love this video! One question, I'll be main tanking this for the first time really soon on a Dragonknight. My only concern is the DoT from Bahsei. How hard is it to heal through that? It doesn't look like much from the video, and I can't really find a decent answer to that question. Would the DoT from Bahsei, by chance, be similar to healing through Baneful during vCR execute or the frost DoT from the final secret boss on Hardmode in Vet Black Drake Villa? I just want to get a feel for what I'll be facing. Thanks in advance for any answers!
It’s different is what I would say. Baneful is a sprint, the dot is more of a 1 mile run. I would just keep up vigor, use the masters s&b, and then your normal heal as needed. I would also try to get back resources close to full in between curses by using synergies and heavy attacking. Then you can drink a potion when you start having to heal yourself during the dot phase. All that should get you through it. And now that I think about it, I would compare it to gryphon tanking without dodgerolling.
@@Nightharrow Oh, thank you for that comparison and tips. When I first jumped into vCR as a tank, I was told to dodge those attacks from the Gryphon, but I was stubborn and didn't. Yeah, I wasn't expecting that bleed, especially as a Necromancer with only Scythe slotted for a heal when it flew away. Thankfully, portal team was taking a bit and had a couple Yagra nearby to Scythe, lol. Thanks again for the tips!
This game absolutely sucks considering I have got a good setup and still can’t get in a vet trial other then Hel ra everybody want you to have perfected gear but how tf am I supposed to get it if I can’t find a trial to get it
Sorry you’re having a bad experience man. I know a lot of guilds will put requirements much higher than they need to be just to make clears easier. The result is it excludes a lot of people, but no one should be requiring perfected gear for vet trials, especially if you’re a support. If you want some help or just want to join us for some vet trials come join us in the That Wasn’t the Boss discord. I’ll drop a link below. discord.gg/Bq2a8CDz

Thanks Illy! Yep, you only want to use those on hard mode.
Great in-depth video. Our guild is running this on normal tonight so I wanted an overview of mechanics of enemies and layout. Thanks.
Happy to help! Thank for watching.
The run went really good last night and we all traded stuff and I got a full set of Bahsei's Mania gear and a weapon. Thanks brother.
Thats awesome man, glad I could help!
Good content, man. Thanks for the time and effort you put into the video 👍
Thanks man, and thanks for watching. I wasn’t sure anyone would even click on a 1.5hr video. Lol
Awesome video and explanation ! You helped us a lot and thanks for all your hard work you put into this guide

Wardens have to take off their bear for one of the pulls? 🥺 but Walter is my buddy
Think of it as a dangerous pull, and you want to keep Walter safe, so you have him wait at the back until it’s safe.
